Clean, comfortable. The blackout curtains were very effective. Air con was cold but easily adjusted. Would book again, no major complaints. I always filter to read negative comments and most of them aren't applicable anymore. If I remember correctly, some said no laundry basket provided - there is one now. Some say no microwave - there is, it's combined with the oven and if you're not sure how to operate it the staff can explain very quickly. I think someone said they don't replenish the nespresso pods but when housekeeping came (3x a week) they did! Someone said not enough utensils - there's enough for exactly two people I guess.

None of these are major issues, just sharing as FYI The gym is indeed tiny. One treadmill, one elliptical, a rack of dumbbells, one bench, one yoga mat but barely enough space to roll it out. The pool is small too, can't do laps. They don't provide dishtowels or dishwashing materials so you'll have to get your own. The microwave/oven had a bit of a food smell, could do with a scrub.

Good size, clean, 1bdr apartment, with a balcony allowing fresh air circulation and kitchen for basic meal prep. Kind and helpful staff, who also generously gifted solo guests a Valentine's Day rose! Loved the outdoor wellness spaces and water flavoured with herbs from the onsite garden. Quiet location, only 15min walk to Orchard MRT. I will stay here again.

Lights/desk/chair not great for working. Cleaning only every second day. Fixed dim lights in bedroom/bathroom. Moderate shower water pressure. No herbal/caffeine-free tea or bottled water. Noise transfer from neighbouring rooms. Shallow and small leisure pool with no shower/changeroom.

1. Superb Location!! 500m to Mt E Hosp, Paragon Mall, & Orchard Rd. 2. Smaller property, with less Apt Units & smaller crowds. 3. Appreciate the quiet surroundings! 4. Cul-de-sac location, so void of traffic “soundtrack”! 5. Small Team delivering personalized svc. 6. Public Laundry @ 2F, always turns to impromptu social gathering w/ neighbors. 7. Makes it feel more like a Co-Living, than just a Svc Apt!

1. Oakwood Studio seems understaffed. 2. At times - esp during busy check-in & check-outs we hv to wait bit longer. 3. It’s ok. No biggie, but I often find the same F/O Staff running around to do errands and fixing / removing things for guests as well. So I’ve experienced no F/O Officer @ Reception Desk with displayed sign “We’ll be right back”

Very well maintained rooms. Clean and modern and excellent location. Staff were friendly and professional. Walking distance to Orchard Road shops and accessible via Grab/taxi. I liked that we had kitchen and laundry facilities so it felt more homely.

There were three of us so we needed to order an extra bed which came at an additional SIN$100+ per night. I thought this was very expensive as it added an additional 50% to the room price. I had booked a room to accommodate three people on booking.com so the extra charge seemed unreasonable. Also the gym was very small and not much equipment at all.

A very comfortable and conveniently located studios with a refreshing funky décor in the lobby and public areas. About 10min walk to Orchard Rd., a shortcut through Paragon Center (with a well-stocked supermarket and pleasant eateries on the lower level), 10-15min to Orchard RMT station. Located on a quiet side street uphill from Orchard Rd. (it may be an issue for mobility-impaired guests). A well-appointed, fairly spacious studio with a comfortable queen bed, nice sofa/TV seating area, work-desk nook, generously-sized wardrobes, spacious kitchen and bathroom (with a well-sealed shower). Friendly and highly efficient staff (they even retrieved the T-shirt blown away from our balcony stuck on top of tall bamboo trees - we were impressed!). I wish I had more time to use the indoor/outdoor public spaces, rooftop pool and gym. All of this made our stay so enjoyable.

Nothing major to dislike. A few minor details: the bathroom could benefit from a few extra clothes hooks and a more conveniently positioned toilet-roll holder. The flashing lights on the room ceiling (probably Internet router) were slightly bothersome but I am not sure how this could be remedied.

Loved the diverse spaces incorporated. A breakfast area always open for coffee, other inside and outside covered sitting areas. Second floor cool seating deck and integrated laundry, nice place to just chill of an evening. Pool area also well designed, incorporating a good sized eating table to pair with the cooking facilities, a small but adequate pool with 3 lounge chairs, and a 2 low chair-table set in another area for converse or coffee. Also within the small rooftop space-a small gym and bathroom, towel closet.——-the room; really good amount of storage for the small bedroom space. Even in bathroom, loved that there was a medicine/stuff cabinet to store away …stuff. Loved having a little balcony to just soak up the first rays of the urban tropical morning on….exotic bird calls, rainwater dripping from somewhere, always some construction, passersby talking, scent of some flowers in bloom wafting by…..

Didn’t love that there were no hand towels in the kitchen!! Nothing to dry your washed hands on, nothing to dry a dish or two with. Also struggled with the very short curly cord on the blow dryer. No plug in bathroom, so styling hair while plugged into the bedroom at night stand and trying to stretch to see myself in the bathroom mirror—-was basically not possible. Frown.

The warm cozy homey feel of the whole experience. It was truly a home away from home. The one bedroom apartment setup is fabulous. Full kitchenette for preparation of meals. Comfortable couch in living room. The location was amazing. Close to cold storage for groceries; close to everything. The staff were warm, friendly, helpful, hospitable, and efficient in problem solving. The cleaning team did a spectacular job keeping the bathroom mopped and the floors glowing. Laundry laundry laundry!! The on site self service laundry facility is the biggest draw for me. Clean clothes every other day. Clean clothes on the way back in the luggage. Love it. Love everything about oakwood. Back again for my next trip.

Our stay was excellent. Staff & location were great. Walking distance to local shopping centres and train lines. Room was clean and serviced every second day. We also used laundry facilities available on different level.

Although the room would not have catered for it given the space and we managed we would have liked a bigger bed. No kettle or microwave provided.

The property was in close proximity (walking distance) to orchard road and Mount Elizabeth hospital. The rooms were well equipped and clean. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils to make a meal.

It would have been ideal to have a washing machine in each apartment or in a general area in the building as the laundry charges are very expensive. The room also did not come with a microwave.

I loved my spacious room, which featured an ample wardrobe, numerous drawers, and a convenient storage area with shoe racks. It allowed me to unpack everything from my two suitcases with ease during my stay. I also appreciated the fridge, which was not the typical tiny hotel size but a regular small fridge with a freezer—perfect for storing all my essentials.

There wasn't anything I disliked about this trip, but if I were traveling with my husband, I feel the queen-size bed might be a bit too small for us.
