Location of hotel is very central just off Orchard Road, Orchard MRT station is within walking distance which make travelling very convenient. Lots of food outlets nearby. Hotel very generous with guests parking. King-Bed Room is considered very spacious.

Bed room and bathroom a bit old need some upgrading, but otherwise comfortable and quite. Hotel doesn't provide bottle water and guests need to boil their own water using and small machine. Room cleaning service need to be improved.

It was in a quieter area and had a nice pool. Our room was very spacious we were upgraded to a very large room. The foyer is quite grand. Train station 5 min walk away. Had fridge and a safe and two toilets but only one shower. The parents room had sliding doors to separate off from living area.

Not enough seats or useful furniture for a family of 4 in the large suite I.e two club chairs and a small coffee table in front of large tv in a very large room. Not enough luggage racks. Dining options hard to find close by, it seemed to be more a high end shopping district. Hallway quite drab and imposing.

The staff at the front desk is quite helpful, nice and polite. The cleaning staff is great as well. I have to say that the men that are in charge of the main entrance doors are not really doing their job. They would be standing there and would see you coming in and not help you open the big entrance doors. Sometimes they would even move to the side so you open it for yourself. There was an occasion where there was 2 men next to the doors and they would both just move to the side and not help you with the door even if you had luggage in your hands. I had to one day stay at the lobby to wait for my friends checking in and saw them do this multiple times. In rare instances they would open the door for a person. Im also complaining about this since it happened to me and my friend. I almost tripped with my luggage when checking out because of their lack of help. The location of the hotel is good near orchard. The accommodation is more on the older side but well kept

The spacious room & good service, we were upgraded free on arrival to our surprise 😀 The carpets in the hallway needs to be upgraded..Should have some stuff/ eats in the bar fridge ,rather than being empty & working empty. The late check out was negotiated 1 day ahead at the reception, but on arrival the next day after shopping &being tired , the reception has not updated In the system, hence had to discuss request all over with the customer service reception, as if we hand not discussed earlier & justify our claim. I, in fact, had got a slip from the previous day of the late check out fee of $ 179 appx which was in the room , which I later handed over to the reception. You should have a request form to be filled in at reception for late checkout & fee mentioned to formalise this type of issue to be avoided. We wasted 30 min + in explaining the situation to the reception. This shouldn't have happened.

Stayed at York Hotel due to its strategic location and it has been a family hotel for many years, that is so comfortable and quiet location but within walking distance to almost popular shopping malls. Will definitely return.

In rainy season, guest may have to take a walk, so umbrella available in the room would be preferable than having to request one at the Concierge. But this not a big issue though, concierge is very helpful to provide one upon request.

I like that the toilet in the room has bidet, and that the room is spacious. The breakfast is good; not exceptional, but varied enough not to make you bored. I also like that it is near Paragon mall, and since it is not on the main street, it is quiet at night.

Location's a bit challenging if you're not used walking up a hill. Another option is to use taxi to and from the hotel, but since it's not far from orchard and newton mrt stations, you might want to weight between paying taxi or doing some extra exercise.

Excellent double glazing on windows for for quiet sleeping. Room staff not stingy in replacing our coffee and tissues. Location very good for patient of Mount Elizabeth Hospital.

Fridge was too small. Restaurant was expensive and only Chinese style greasy food for lunch and dinner.
