It looked like it went for an upgrade and renovation which looks great. Modern and Fresh. Breakfast had a good selection that catered to all dietary needs. Location was perfect, just off Orchard Road and close to shopping, dining and the train station.

A Neck Pillow menu could be helpful. The pillows are too soft and bad for my neck support. The hotel could also offer magnetic chargers in the room on top of USB and plug options if it wants to be more sustainable and eco friendly. Communication and messaging could be improved in the Booking.com app. I was not given a reply on my car pick inquiry from the airport to the hotel.

All the staff were exceptional! A special mention about Jeff the assistant manager for making our stay extra special and giving us exceptional service. Also, a special mention to Mike, Ivy, Saki & Lauren at the restaurant for making each morning a great experience and for always looking after us, our boy Vince loved spending the time with you as well. Also, thank you to Joey at the fitness centre for her friendly service and showing us around the facilities.

Water out of the waterbottles they provided didn't taste great. No opening windows into the rooms so no fresh air

location is perfect. accessibility is good.

Wi fi is very slow. We had asked for late checkout but we were informed no rooms available, but were allocated rooms on paid basis. after staying with the property for 4 days and occupying 7 rooms a basic curtsey of late check out at least for couple of rooms could have been offered. nor were we informed we could use our points to book the extra time saving money

Came here for a staycay on CNY. I loved the service of all the staff. They were very helpful and friendly to my family, including my 3 yr old. There is a hot and cold water dispenser and ice on the floor, which is useful. It is kid friendly. The rooms were clean and beautiful. It is smack in the heart of Orchard, which is convenient if you are planning to shop around and rest in between.

Great check-in and check-out, great concierge staff - always willing to assist with directions and taxis, very comfortable bed, very convenient location.

The space used for a little "annex" could have been better served with a sofa and coffee table.

The halal certified food served the main reason why I stayed..

Add more salad choices and sandwiches during breakfast buffet.. I was hoping to see kueh but didn't see any.. maybe could add those during breakfast rather than dinner buffet..

Overall everything at the Grand Hyatt was great. The staff were very helpful especially Reception who provided efficient service when we enquired about the parking facility. They gave us clarity and issued a parking ticket to enable our daughter to visit us. The various food served at breakfast was delicious and was very happy with the quality. Our room was cleaned by a very friendly and caring lady from China who ensured it was top quality each day. Please thank them all for their fantastic and wonderful service and we would come again in the future.

I was a little disappointed when Reception called me @ 6.00 p.m. to vacate the room. We extended the room for a Late Check out @ 6.00 p.m. and I would not expect the hotel to call at that time. I endeavoured to call your concierge to collected my baggage for checkout prior to 6 pm however no one responded and we had to personally call for concierge service by going down to the ground floor for assistance.

What we like was the Room! if you are traveling as a family - 2 adults 1 teenage boy and 1 kid... Grand Hyatt is the perfect hotel for you. Not only that the room was perfect size etc, but the staff was absolutely friendly and acommodating. and their response time is fast!. We would definitely come and stay here again. Thank you so much for everything. even though we didn't get to use the other facilities as they were upgrading - which was ok as we weren't at the hotel much anyway.... we still had a good time there.. and the breakfast was amazing.

when i booked the hotel it was for 3 adults and 1 child, for the breakfast.. during checking in the receptionist told me we would have breakfast and didnt mention we would need to pay... but then there was confusion at the breakfast entrance counter whereby both days two different people would say i would need to pay and when i have asked them to check... i didnt need to pay... its just weird that there was no communication or a communication breakdown. As a customer - when we pay we expect everything to be smooth and fine... so when theres an issue, it was kinda weird how it wasnt highlighted upon check in...

We arrived two days before the hotel closed for renovations - which we knew about. It was an early arrival from London, so we were prepared to wait till our twin club room was ready. Then the hotel said we were being upgraded to Room 1741. It was magnificent! ALL the staff were friendly and helpful. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Also, the room looked 80-90% like what the website shows, so it is good as it allows me to carry out the planned activities that I had during my stay. Last but not least, the check-in and check-out process were efficient.

Probably just the furniture inside the room. Understand that it is kind of difficult to replace the furniture but they do look old with much wear and tear. With grand hyatt's name being quite held highly, I feel that this is the only portion which could be improved.
