Excellent location within 15-20 mins. of everywhere by taxi or train. A 10 min. walk to Orchard Road Shopping Precinct and Somerset train station. Great value for money with a wonderful full buffet breakfast each morning and varied. :)) We stayed for 10 days and had a Serviced Apartment with a washing machine, which came in handy after days of humidity and hot sweaty clothes, a kitchenette and a medium sized fridge. The supermarket downstairs was an asset! Very clean and wonderful, helpful staff who were always smiling. Lovely Cafe 'Blooms' across the road for good coffee & Acai Bowls! Lots of small local eateries across the road too. Comfortable mattresses and Room Service Mon. to Fri. We couldn't have picked a better location.

The only negative was the pillows! They were awful. Feather and not comfortable at all so we had 10 days of very interrupted sleep. They look great when they are all fluffed up but go very flat. Even with 2 they weren't comfortable. Suggestion is to ask if they have other pillows on offer.

The room and facilities are modern and clean

Thereis major construction on the street on two sides of the building. Trucks, jackhammers and general construction noise within 30 metres of the building. commotion starts at before 8am and goes nonstop to 9pm Monday to Saturday. Even with windows and blinds closed it is infuriating and impossible to sleep ( I was wearing earplugs and still awakened as the crews arrived each morning ). I dont understand why I was not given a room on the opposite side of these works.

The Room was excellent, it had ample space and all that we needed. The location was reasonable, it was easy reach to train station and Orchard Road. The Breakfast worked really well with a good selection.

The bathroom needed to be cleaned better, there was mold around the edges of the shower and drain, the overflow in the sink needed to be cleaned as well.

Comfortable bed, good size room, great selection at breakfast, friendly staff, loved the location- only 7-10 minutes walk to railway station, many great eateries just across the road. Even though the hotel was at capacity, but you didn't have to wait long for an available lift to go down. Pool was the perfect temperature.

Room not 100% soundproofed however, it was mainly people dragging their chair on the tiled floor from either next door or above. This could be alleviated if there was felt padding on the feet of the chair. Having said this, it was quieter than I thought it would be for a large hotel. Also, housekeeping need a check list to ensure items are always replenished. But had absolutely no issues getting said items from the friendly staff when asked.

The location was ideal - a short walk to an MRT Station and bus stops, walking distance to lots of shopping centres, nearby places to eat, and there was a grocery store round the corner of the hotel to buy essentials and cooking supplies. The room was well-equipped. I like that there were facilities for ironing, washer/dryer, cooking hob, cutlery etc. There were even little kits for brushing teeth and essentials that are easy to forget, which alleviated the stress of trying to find them in stores. The air conditioning was much-appreciated, and it was helpful to be able to control the setting. Breakfast was superb - there was a good variety of things to eat, even for someone like me with a restricted diet. I like that they tried to change it a little each day, and they incorporated a mix of local dishes and typical breakfast options (hot and cold options). Most staff were friendly and willing to help. When I spoke to them, they were not shy to have a conversation, which made the environment feel friendly and welcoming. I like that there was a gym, sauna, and swimming pool. Initially, I was worried that these facilities would be too busy, but fortunately, I was always able to use the facilities when I wanted without waiting for someone to finish. On a few days, I could comfortably relax at the hotel, using the facilities, without needing to be out and about. In all, it was such a delightful stay and positive experience. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if, like me, you are travelling solo and visiting Singapore for the first time. It was a real comfort to know that I did not need to worry so much about what I need, as I had most of what I needed, and staff were always willing to help.

If I had to be real picky, I would just say that I could not find channels to watch TV. But, truthfully, I forgot all about it after the first day.

Room was great, cleaned every other day with new sheets and towels. Shower worked well and bed was comfortable. Airconditioning worked wonderfully. Room service was extremely efficient and great meals served. WiFi was provided-just have to sign back in every time you return to the hotel. Well located with shops and food outlets nearby. Bus stops only 5 minute walk away and about 10 minutes to MRT Somerset station. Breakfast had many options to suit all tastes with eggs (served differently each day), bacon, beans, sausages, tomato, noodles, rice, yoghurt, fresh fruit, pancakes, small cake varieties, toast, jam, tea, coffee etc.

Provision of milk for westerners to have in their tea and coffee would have been nice. Also maybe a small sachet of washing powder to do some washing if necessary. Very minor issues - could not fault Orchard Grand Cout.

Generally the property was good, breakfast could have been a little better but was OK particularly because there were some new things every day. The bread & butter pudding at breakfast was outstanding we did congratulate the chef but please do that again! Staff in the hotel and cafe all very polite and helpful.

The air conditioning controls were a bit strange - they didn't seem to adjust when you tried to change the temperature, they allowed you to change the settings but then re-set to the original temperature. Pet hates: 1. No plug in the bathroom basin - meant I had to continually run hot water to shave in - no cost to me but a big cost to the hotel. 2. Shower in the high bath - access difficult/slip hazard - safety mat in the bath was in disgusting condition so it was unusable.

Large spacious apartments that are quiet, comfortable and well-equipped (including a washing machine but no washing powder). There is a 24 hour reception and hence it is easy to leave luggage before check-in or after check-out (unlike with an Airbnb). The location is a short walk from Somerset MRT, the shops of Orchard Road, a supermarket and restaurants. Orchard Grant Court does not offer the extras one might look for on a holiday (bar, restaurant, spacious communal area, etc.) but is perfect for a business trip or budget-conscious visit to Singapore.

Breakfasts were great, convenience to MRT was good, supermarket in the Hotel building was amazing and so convenient. Having a washing Machine/dryer was very convenient, and the big fridge was also really good. Staff were all very good, although the house keeper was a bit too keen to come into the room without much notice, she did however to an excellent job!

No TV in the Bedroom, very limited selection of TV channel, as English speaking Australians there was usually nothing worth watching on TV, so hardly used it. The room was very dark, not a lot of atmosphere or ambiance, the two seater lounge in front of the TV was not very comfortable. The restriction of not being able to have food or drinks poolside we found unusual and made going to the pool a little uninviting, so we never once used it. Towels were very thin, not the usual hotel quality. Not having a clock in the bedroom we thought was unusual?

the location, supermarket and pharmacy in the same building, close to Somerset MRT, short walk to Orchard Road and green spaces, plenty of eating places at Killiney Road. the buffet breakfast at Cafe Crystal was great.

Living area in the one bedroom apartment where I stayed is without sunlight due to the wall separating it from the bedroom.
