The hotel was exactly as per the pictures and staff was fantastically helpful. The room was light and bright and spacious with an outdoor bathroom and shower. We slept well and enjoyed our stay! The area is quiet and suburban but very close to Orchard.

The breakfast is off the premises down the road in a famous local Kopitiam (local coffee shop) and was so crowded we couldn't get inside even. There was so staff to help and no information so we ended up having to leave and go to a restaurant nearby. I love the Koptiam idea but it doesn't functionally work for hotel guests because it is so popular with locals that you can't even get near a table.

We liked that it had a pool and it was green and leafy in a quiet neighborhood. The staff were exceptionally helpful! Shout out to Annie 😀 Great breakfast in the restaurant around the corner.

Loved the room - outdoor showering and bathing was beautiful, and meant that the room stayed nice and dry. The facilities in the room were great as well - loved the water fountain and reusable water bottles that were given during the stay. Staff were absolutely wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. Really personal touch. Also we had wonderful cookies left for us as a celebration! Fantastic area - must visit the 'worst bar in singapore' great little speak easy.

Not that we didn't like this but the hotel isn't as central/close to MRT as we had thought. Prepare to do a lot of walking to get to nearest MRT

It’s comfortable, elegant, minimalistic, in a quiet neighborhood yet only blocks away from Orchard Rd. The reception staff was unfailingly helpful and gracious. My friend and I were given a free upgrade to a superior twin bed room, and the extra space was welcome. Beautiful grounds and pool. Loved the rainshower shower open to the garden below. The beds were very comfortable, and the room is so well-designed that we never felt cramped. No on-site restaurant but we had breakfast tokens to two nearby restaurants. We highly recommend the German over the other one. Just steps from our door was a station with coffee and ice water machines and a microwave.

A lovely boutique hotel in a great location--it's 5 minutes from Orchard Road, and if you are into that sort of thing, just about right next door to 38 Oxley Road. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint even though so close to the heart of the shopping district. We had a two story room with the bedroom upstairs, and a outside bathroom (don't worry, it's properly sheltered/shielded). It's all low rise, so don't expect an expansive city view. There's a small pool as well. There's no room service, but plenty of food is within a few minutes' walk--Killiney Kopitiam (the hotel included breakfast vouchers that can be used there), Orh-Kee Noodles, Jew Kit Chicken Rice, Da Shi Jia Big Prawn Mee, etc. The staff is friendly and competent.

Nothing really stands out as something that we didn't like so the following will feel slightly nit-picky. First, the outside bathroom takes a moment to get use to, but one does get use to it. Second, no onsite restaurant--but again, plenty of options just round the corner. Third, the Mrs didn't like the exposed staircase just above the sink (there was a small sign asking us to be careful), worrying that we will knock our heads into it--that didn't happen, of course. Fourth, if you are looking for a "view", then this is the wrong place, since it's all low-rise. But none of these things really detracted from the excellent time we had.

The hotel was in a great location in Singapore. The staff were lovely and helpful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

We knew the property only offered vouchers for breakfast in a local cafe, which we didn’t mind. On the first morning we ordered a coffee, tea and 2 croissants. Next day, same drinks, a croissant and had yogurt which ending up costing $20? Final day we had exactly the same as the first, and ended up having to pay $5. I think they need to be clearer on what’s included and ensure the cafe understands as well, as we were a bit disappointed with this.

Great location - short walks to Orchard & Dhoby Gaut MRT stations. Spacious ground floor room shared between mother & daughter. Nice outdoor bathroom. Cute little pool in a small but lovely green garden. Comfy bed. Enjoyed breakfast coupons at very popular local Killiney’s tea shop nearby. Thoughtful birthday card & dark chocolate bar for my daughter.

Not enough natural light on ground floor. smoke detector light shines brightly green above bed - a bit disruptive to falling asleep Very tiny bottle of complementary drinking water given. Nowhere to hang laundry or wet swimsuits.

This stay was truly wonderful — the kind of place that makes you feel instantly at home. From the moment we walked in, we were met with a sense of warmth and calm. Everything was spotless, beautifully arranged, and so thoughtfully decorated. The space was not only clean, but also cozy and aesthetic in the most comforting way. We felt incredibly comfortable throughout our entire stay, as if it were our own little home away from home. Every detail, from the soft lighting to the calming atmosphere, added to the overall charm. It’s the kind of place you leave with a full heart and a smile, already thinking about coming back.

Lloyds is a unique hotel with showers that open into an enclosed courtyard and a bath in the courtyard so you can bathe outside in complete privacy. It has to be said that some elements of the courtyard were looking a little tired but there was something magical about being in the bath and looking up at the sky (there is a retractable canopy above the bath), with a palm tree and plants, listening to the birds. The staff were brilliant, helped us during our stay and the receptionist organised our cab for the airport, woke us up on time and was super helpful. The room was a good size and the bed large and comfortable. Good shower and hot water, excellent air-con. The hotel is a short walk from Orchard Road with MRT, many cafes and shops.

As noted, some elements, especially outside, were looking their age. The plants were lovely but clearly didn't get a great deal of attention. There was a rather strange kettle but nowhere to plug it in on the desk where it was situated, which was inconvenient - but we would definitely stay again, the pluses far outweighed the negatives.

We loved the bedrooms and the comfort of this hotel, the beds were so comfy. The staff were all very nice and friendly and the location was perfect for what we wanted for the 3 days, very central and close enough to the metro (about 15 min/20 min walk ) we also got one of the rooms upgraded with a bath outside so that was a lovely bonus!

There wasn't much to dislike, the breakfast options were okay , but nothing amazing , if you are looking to get a nice breakfast included in this price, I would expect that it would be a bit better.
