We had cooked food on our own. The madams at the front office were nice to us by helping nature by all means. Even the housekeeping Chinese lady was also very helpful, although she could not understand English, she very much translated in her mobile phone to explain to us what she wanted to say. In totality, it's a nice place to stay, surrounded by the best locality and markets. Somerset MRT is very near to this locality to travel all around, Singapore is a very beautiful country. I wish to come again and stay at Greatwood Residence, 17 Devonshire Road, Singapore.

Everything was fine

Overall, a good experience. Room furniture outdated, but bed was comfy, shower good and having a washing machine+dryer was a big advantage. Orchard road 2 streets away. Ease of transportation and supermarkets very close by. Loans and her colleague eager to help in any way possible. Thanks ladies.

The room has a self contained kitchenette. A little work on that would make it more attractive and suitable. There is no kitchen sink, so stuff has to be washed in the bathroom sink..not good. Also the frying pan was probably 10 years old. A new one costs less than $15 - not much cost for a good improvement. Only Netflix is available and no TV stations.

I stayed 6n on a biz trip. Definitely good value for money, excellent location 7’ walking from Somerset/Orchard, 1’ from a FairPrice supermarket open 24h, plenty of restaurants and a small kinda hawker centre 2-3’ waking distance on Killiney Rd. The room (bed+living) is quite spacious, in the corner has a small kitchen with fridge, MW and electrical cooker. The bathroom has a washing machine, which comes very useful if you’ve been traveling almost 2w (like my case). Comfy bed, fast wifi. Excellent communication with the staff for a late check in by WhatsApp, with clear instructions for your peace of mind. Overall a good place in the centre of SG, perfect if you don’t want to spend a fortune, especially if you plan to stay 5+ nights.

The place to be honest a bit dated, the room although spacious is a bit dark (has just a small window). The small kitchen corner with fridge, MW and electrical cooker has NO sink (?) you’re obliged to wash/rinse your plates cups in the bathroom (!). This latter has a washing machine, which comes very useful if you’ve been traveling almost 2w (like my case). What I also didn’t really like was the noise from outside. Regardless of next door’s construction site going on, the window in general is not really soundproof (it shows the building needs some renovation).

Location location location. The location is super convenient. Nearby supermarket, nearby not expensive food, near famous Orchard Road and walking distance to Somerset train station. Kitchenette is adequate. Washing machine is useful for long stay. Window can be open for additional ventilation. Wardrobe is good. TV with access to Netflix, YouTube, etc

Mattress is lumpy. No bidet. Pillow insufficient and flat.

Having your own washing machine is gold! Supermarket, shopping street and transportation very close.

I would've loved to have something to clean the dishes, instead of using soap and my own hand.

1. Wati at reception was very friendly and helpful. 2. Location and price is perfect as it close to train, eating places and shopping at orchard and somerset road. 3. Was very easy to grab for a cab and wait at the seating are in reception. very conenient.

1. Cleaning staff has problems with English and was hard to communicate with her. 2. The air-conditioning needs some regular cleaning. We found moulds on vent. 3. Blankets needs to be fresh when first check in. Found mould on blankets and requested change. But request to change blankets was satisfied very quickly. 4. Smoking area is too close to the seating and waiting area in reception. Would do well to limit smoking further away from entrance.

Excellent location although a tiny bit tricky to find initially due to the street signs. Our room had almost everything we needed. The Fair Price supermarket about 100m away was great! Staff were lovely.

The shower was not hot but it was quite warm so it was fine. The nonstick frypan in our room did not work on the induction cooktop provided and when we advised staff, they just put the same one back so we still couldn’t use it. We did manage with the saucepan. Dishwashing liquid and a tea towel would have been helpful but we just bought items at the shop right nearby.

Great location near Sommerset (2 min walk) MRT. There is a 24 hour supermarket 1 minute away and lots of local eateries, including a few 24 hour street vendors. Safe area, especially at night. Great air conditioning, great water pressure, 24 acess to lobby with FOB thus felt very safe and secure. The washing machine, dryer, microwave, fridge and small electric cooktop made this place even more amazing. Excellent value for money. Our room was spacious and clean. Ps, there is an amazing A5 waygu steak restaurant about 3 minutes away where you can get A5 steaks for about $30-40!

Great location ,close to everything ,Orchard Rd , buses , Mrt ,chemist , supermarkets and food courts. Nice and clean comfortable bed .

Mould on the bathroom ceiling,TV didn't work except for Netflix,needed an antena and floor not clean , hair from previous guests on it . This wasn't a deal breaker as everything else was great

This accommodation offered everything I needed: clean, spacious, good size room, quiet neighbourhood (except for the construction work - that is going on at the time of writing this - in the area from about 9am to 7pm. The staff was particularly helpful and friendly, making my stay there a pleasure. The apartment is close to public transport and a supermarket as well as to a whole string of small eateries, ranging from a very basic foodcourt to a German beer garden. Highly recommended!

Be aware that the apartment itself has only the most basic facilities to prepare your own food. There is, however, a better equipped common kitchen on the same floor. So this is not really a deal-killer.
