Staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is spotless. Room had a nice view, and it's just across the road from Fort Canning. Beds were comfortable too! We loved it and will look no further when we come back to Singapore. We booked the breakfast too upon arrival and made a mistake with our departure time (we had to leave too early to be able to have breakfast). They made a takeaway breakfast for us instead. Very much appreciated! Thank you! We had a very pleasant stay! :-)

There was nothing to not like. If you are after a big fancy room, this hotel might not be for you. But for us, it had everything we needed. The walk to the MTR or bus might be a bit inconvenient for some too, but it wasn't very far either.

Nice staff, clean & comfortable rooms. Good access to City centre just by walk. Nice breakfast just for a few dollars.

The room was very comfortable. It was a good size (I was there for almost 2 weeks, so having a little extra space was nice). The location was very good. Plaza Singapura mall is about a 5 min walk away with great stores, restaurants, movie theater, etc. It is also a 5 min walk to the MRT station where you can access three different lines.

The staff is exceptionally polite and helpful. The location of the hotel is very good, close to the city centre and to the lovely park. The breakfast (big selection of European and Asian food) can be decided ad hoc, which is very handy. The family room is very spacious. Additionally, water is delivered every day to the room.

The room was large, clean, comfortable, but functional. It was located on the 11th floor, with excellent outlook to Fort Canning park.

Being a hotel run by a Christian organisation (YWCA), one had to accept some idiosyncratic behaviour. E.g. some singing in the lobby! No alcoholic beverages available at the cafe.

This was an excellent hotel, with the bonus that as it is run by a charity all the profits are going to run projects to benefit disadvantaged people. Very good location, close to an MRT station, shops, bars and restaurants. Very friendly, helpful staff. Very good size room with excellent aircon.

What I particularly enjoyed about the hotel property was its immaculate cleanliness, the spacious and well-appointed rooms with comfortable bedding, the convenient location near key attractions and the exceptional service provided by the friendly staff who were always ready to assist with any requests.

Location of hotel was great. Room was comfortable. 4-bed room (one bed was a little hard, the rest were good). Everthing was great. Not a complaint, but the ability to open a window and get fresh air would be good, but I understand that the building design doesn't allow for that. The food and the pool were good too. Very clean.

the location is almost perfect and the staff are friendly. To go to dhoby ghaut mrt station one can take shortcut through UBS building. Yes, it's still about 250m walk, but, can't complain - this is singapore.

- the housekeeping would knock on your door in the morning (before 9am) if you don't put don't disturb sign. - it seems that the housekeeping only throw out the garbage, do a mild inspect on the bathroom, put the mineral water, and tidy up the bed. They don't clean up the floor thoroughly nor clean up the bathroom thoroughly (I had to ask for a bath soap refill).

Room was good, new mattresses. Very nice pool and sun lounges. Quiet place. Very nice staff. Calming atmosphere. Drink/food vending machine. Resturant on site. We ate here twice. Breakfast is available. Location right near Dhoby Ghaut MRT. New cafes here at MRT and some opening soon. 7 mins to Singapura Plaza. huge variety of shops and food and Kopitiam Food Hall. (hawker) Right near Orchard Road. Also 5 mins to Wesley Methodist Church and National Museum of Singapore. Right opposite Fort Canning Park for a beautiful walk and can see Raffles history there. and the Battle box.
