The location of the hotel is very close to the Catherine's Gate and the city centre, a short and safe walking distance. The staff, although there is no reception 24 hours, was super-friendly, and when we had a trouble with a personal vehicle, the support from the staff was extraordinary, for which I am extremely grateful, rarely is such generosity met in practice. The room and facilities were on the ground floor, spacious, comfortable almost without any noise, as the location is in a very quiet street. The parking is indeed available and free-of-charge, inside the yard as well as outside in the side street, the latter being a better option for a slightly bigger vehice.

There is a short walk up the hill, although manageable. Parking inside the hotel yard can be a little complicated for larger vehicle due to entry from a to narrow street, but there is a hotel parking outside, with camera surveillance.

It’s clean quiet and comfortable. Checkin was easy with the instructions they sent. They’re responsive on WhatsApp when you have questions. It’s a 15 minute walk from the central square and it has parking which is very convenient. The courtyard parking was a little bit tight to manoeuvre but there was enough easy parking on the street right outside which we used instead.

A minor annoyance was the shower. It was impossible to take a shower and not get water all over the bathroom, the drain also doesn’t really drain too well.

The owner was very helpful, the location is perfect close to evreything and comfortable parking, there was every thing we needed in the kitchen.

The unit wich we stayed in is an attic the ceiling is low in the bathroom and in the childrens room so for 5 adult its a little bit uncomfortable.

The location is perfect: just a 10-minute walk from the main square, tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood with beautiful mountain views. Everything you need is close by – minimarkets, restaurants, cafes – and the nearby hiking trails make it ideal for nature lovers. The apartment itself was spotless, tastefully decorated, and featured a spacious shower that was a real bonus. What really made the stay special, though, was the staff – incredibly friendly, responsive, and always happy to help. They were truly the cherry on top. If you’re considering a stay in the area, don’t hesitate – book this place.

I booked Nikolas Haus because of high rating here on Booking.com, the location seemed great and free paring inside the property... Little did I know how great our stay is going to be! The apartment and whole property are top notch and one can see it the moment entering the yard. Literary everything is well maintained and clean - from the gate to the bathroom! It has the charm which makes you feel like home. Such a cozy property in quiet area only minutes away from the city center! Fantastically equipped, everything is high-range and new. Very spacious and well organized. So my honest compliments to the owners! But I was totally blown away with the kindness of the host! Such a communicative person willing to step forward in a need... I've been to many places in beautiful apartments but very rarely I've meet such a great host! I need to accent this because it's a cherry on top of the cake! I really hope to meet them again!

Nice, quiet location, 15-20 minutes walk to downtown. Comfortable beds, very clean, nice courtyard with possibility of parking the car inside it very nice host.

Well, beside the fact that, being an attic there are some inconviniences because of the inclined ceiling in the bedrooms and bathrooms, in my opinion the kitchen should have offered more tools. I mean, there is only a pan and no pot to boil an egg or warm some food. Also an microwave would have been useful, some towel, too. Another minus is lack of sidebed lights. I wrote about these just to have in mind for next guests. Otherwise the place is really a nice one to choose.

The two bedroom apartment was beautiful and quirky. Exceptionally clean, well designed and very comfortable. Bottles of water and snacks on arrival were very welcome. Easy free parking either outside the property or in the courtyard and only an easy 10-15 minute walk to the main square. Our host Daniela could not have done more to ensure that we had the perfect stay. Would not hesitate to recommend if you are looking to stay in Braşov.

This is our second stay @ Nikolaus House. We love the location ... close enough to the center to walk (or a very inexpensive Uber ride) but quiet, affordable and close to more local restaurants. It's exceptionally clean and easy to access. Good communication with host. We had a giant vehicle this time that didn't fit into the courtyard parking, so were grateful for alternate parking options on the street outside (with cameras).

We stayed in the upstairs apartment with friends who took the larger room (king bed and sofa bed) and we took the smaller. The bed was pretty small and awkward. We kept banging our heads on the ceiling both in the bedroom area and bathroom. Just the nature of it being an attic apartment. Last year we had a downstairs room and did not have these issues. Room size/layout was perfect.

What a beautiful place, it’s so peaceful and the room was spotless as well as spacious. The bathroom was really nice with a good size shower and the bed was also very comfortable. There is a private courtyard outside for a nice morning coffee and a place to relax on a nice evening. Also a perfect distance from Braşov, with the main square being about a 15 minute walk. It’s also a good base for day trips through the amazing countryside of Transylvania providing that you have a car.

The apartment was nice and clean, well equipped for what we needed. It was spacious enough for a family with two young kids. The sofa bed was comfortable for them to sleep on according to them 😀 The location is excellent, very close to Piata Sfatului ( about 10 min walk), St Nicholas Church and the First Romanian School are only a few meters away, 2 min walk. The apartment has private off-street parking, very safe. The check-in and check out are very straightforward. We would definitely stay there again as facilities and location were excellent.
