Great stay at Prinz Gregor. Friendly people and happy to help. Comfort of our room. Everything is new, finely decorated, spacious and spotless clean. Convenient parking. Main attractions in the old city center are within walkable distance (Piata Sfatului, Black Church, String Street, First Romanian School, Timpa). Breakfast is delicious, fresh and so many things, hot or cold, to choose from. Homemade cookies, pancakes, frittata and cheese plate were so nice. As we had to leave early, well before breakfast time, we’ve been given something to go. So attentive. Recommend it!

Delicious coffee and the breakfast was excellent. It starts at 7:30 on weekdays and at 8:00 on weekends - as a personal preference, I would have preferred an earlier breakfast. Very clean, very nice room - I loved it. Excellent staff, very obliging.

The reception area is very small. There isn't a proper lounge (like in all other hotels), nowhere to sit if you need to wait for a taxi, a friend, etc., for half an hour. In the reception, there are only two chairs. The distance between the chair and the receptionist's desk is one meter, one and a half meters. It is the only shabby aspect of the hotel.

Modern hotel 5 minutes walk from all the bars and restaurants , parking available for 50 lei which is a blessing in Brasov as it is always busy .Super clean and very nice designed rooms , plenty of space and good sized bathroom .Breakfast offered a good choice with hot and cold food available .

No air conditioning in bedroom so we had to leave the window open all night .

The location is very close to the Black Church, about a 5-minute walk. We really liked it, the staff is extremely kind and helpful, the rooms are modern and really clean. Also nice and warm during winter. The breakfast is also great, with so much variety - eggs, pancakes, all sort of pastry, cheese, salami, vegetables, cereals, yoghurt. We had everything while staying here. 😬 Definitely recommend. 💯

Nothing in particular

The matrass was amazing! It is not too soft and not too hard, it was really comfortable. The room itself is quite spacious, so we had no problem finding room for our stuff. The breakfast was tasty. It had just the right amount of choice. Also the staff is extremely nice and helpful and speaks english fluently.

It is sometimes a challenge to navigate the parking spaces. It's a bit tight to get to your spot. The room had some minor inconveniences. The duvet was quite small for two people. Also there was no air vent in the bathroom, there was a small window though (which can't be opened if you want the airco on.) Also all electricity will be off when you leave the room, so we had the feeling our drinks werent kept as cold. Also the hotel has a lot of wood, which makes it a bit noisy (we could hear people running the floor above us)

Really nice hotel located a short walk from centre. Staff very helpful. Rooms were modern, beds comfortable & nice bathroom with shower. Bus from train station drops you minutes from hotel. Be aware if you catch bus back to train station you need to catch from a different street, near the park. I would definately stay here again. A warning for people using train to travel Bucharest to Sinaia or Brasov, many of the train stations do not have platform signs, very easy to miss your stop.

The hotel is on several levels and does not have an elevator, so if you don't like stairs ask for a ground floor room. As I said, major train stations do not have station name on platforms. Air quality in Brasov poor.

We had a comfortable and clean stay at this hotel. The room was well-maintained, the bed was cozy, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth. The location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. There was also a great breakfast buffet, offering a variety of options to start the day. Overall, a great stay—I would definitely recommend it!

The only downside was that we were assigned room number one, which is located right next to the reception. While it wasn't loud or a major issue, it did feel a bit awkward stepping out of the room and seeing people and the reception area every day.

Stayed for 2 nights, and it is, for sure, value for money! The room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable! Even though it was freezing cold outside, the room was heated promptly! Breakfast was delicious every day! The location is very good as well, as it is less than 5 minutes away from the main square of Brasov. Dragos from the reception was really helpful and gave us some good restaurant recommendations! Extra convenient that there is a parking space which you can reserve it prior to your stay!

The duvet for the double bed was a bit small, and we asked for a second one. Also, we wanted to see international channels or Netflix on the TV, but none of them was available 😢
