We had an exceptional stay at the Marriott Hotel in Bucharest. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The staff was professional, courteous, and always attentive. Everything was well-organized and ran smoothly. The casino was impressive, clean, well-managed, and had a great atmosphere. The Italian restaurant on-site was excellent, with delicious food and top-notch service. Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be coming back.

The overall experience was fantastic, with just one small note. While the room was generally clean and well-kept, a bit of extra attention to detail in the cleaning would have made it truly perfect. Just a small improvement that could enhance an already great stay.

In my opinion the staff at the reception had a too casual attitude and was not professional the moment of the check-in. Friendliness and jokes are welcomed but up to a limit. Also I had to leave the room for a couple of nights (because of an emergency) and they canceled my reservation without notice. When I returned to the hotel I had an unpleasant surprise. The room was fully paid in advance so this was unacceptable.

Old-school luxury. It’s huge, it’s beautiful, it has pretty much all the amenities you could want. Fully stocked minibar (not empty like at many hotels nowadays), 0-24 room service, amazing breakfast with quality ingredients, restaurants and luxury shops within the building, fully equipped gym, pool etc. Staff were always friendly, polite and helpful. One of my favourite hotels.

Can’t really think of anything major. It’s not in the old town but ubers are cheap and plentiful so you can get there (or anywhere) easily at all times. Also, be prepared to pay a 300RON a night deposit that will be refunded if you don’t use it/don’t use all of it.

Awesome gym on level -1. Part of "World Class" chain. Lots of cardio machines and weight equipment. In the change rooms there is a decent dry sauna. Hotel guests can also join classes, get free towels at the gym, access to locker, etc. Highlight of the stay. Hotel breakfast was good. Executive Room was nice, with both shower and bath. Executive lounge had excellent offer of food in the evening between 1730 and 1930. Would be great if those hours were extended a little later.

Steam room in gym smelled like piss. Very unpleasant.

The reception and breakfast room staff was really kind and helpful. It's a big, comfortable hotel that also has a huge car park. (70 Lei per day). The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom is also very big. We stayed there in January and the room was warm enough. There is adjustable air-condition in the room. The bed is comfortable but the pillows are too soft. Breakfast was good but not exceptional for a 5-star hotel. It could have been better.

The biggest minus for me is the fact that the room is dimly-lit even if you turn on all the lights. I always prefer a well-lit room. And as I said above, the pillows were too soft. Also the location is a bit far from the old town. 38 minutes on foot or 10 minutes if you take an UBER. But we knew that before we booked a room in this hotel. Our priority was a hotel with a big car park. Knowing our car was safe in that car park, we didn't mind the distance between the hotel and the sights.

nice big hotel, perfect parking right in the front door (another big parking in the back of the hotel) great italian restaurant, perfect executive lounge for 3 meals a day (attention for limited hour/schedule) - if you take a room with the lounge, you dont need the main dininig room at all!

the hotel is far from the center, very poor spa/saunas. spa area, gym and bath are not attractive enough for 5 stars hotel. room is big and clean but too simple and old design - espacialy the bathroom, simple and not attractive casino

Room: The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and absolutely spotless. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the luxurious amenities made my stay feel truly special. I particularly loved the large windows, which provided a stunning view of the city. Breakfast: The breakfast buffet was outstanding! It offered a fantastic variety of options, from fresh pastries and fruits to made-to-order omelets. The quality of the food was top-notch, and the staff ensured everything was replenished and fresh. The dining area was elegant, creating the perfect start to my day. Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi connection was excellent throughout the hotel. Whether I was working in my room or streaming content, the internet speed was reliable and fast.

The location is perfect if you have a car or use Uber or bolt or public transportation. Is close to the attractions but not in walking distance. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel responded promptly to my requests before reaching the hotel and they met my requirements. The hotel is huge and there are luxury brands shops on ground floor and couple of good restaurants. If you have kids then the twin room is more than good enough to accommodate more than two child with the double queen beds. There is huge parking space at the back of the hotel and the also allow you to park in front of the hotel with the same charge for both parkings per day.

Some rooms come with separate toilet and shower so it is not convenient for some guests. We had to request to change the room which was fulfilled and given another room.

Best facilities (gym, sauna) in Bucharest. Great eating options - especially the wonderful and reasonably priced JW Cafe. Extremely spacious and well appointed rooms. Very much up to the global standard one would expect from a JW Marriott.

Location is a bit far from the center - but it does make it up for it with roomier space and facilities.

Absolutely amazing exceptional stay in this beautiful and cozy hotel! staff are incredible they go above and beyond, specially Petronella & Keitherine! We had the most amazing time for our first visit in Romania for our anniversary. We had a little surprise from the staff such as cake, brandy and room upgrade to lounge access! Our room and bathroom were very spacious, spotless clean and pillows and bed were very comfortable, we slept like a baby and wanted to extend our stay! But unfortunately we had to go back to UK. Our room was facing the city with a good view. We would 100% go back and couldn't recommend this magical place enough you have to explore it yourself you will not be disappointed! 11/10
