Gorgeous hotel in a wonderfully restored historic building. It's just a couple of minutes walk from the busy and noisy old town, but in a beautifully quiet neighbourhood. Plenty of secure parking is available if you ask. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed, including a kettle and tea/coffee (a rarity in Romanian hotels), with a big and comfortable bed, lovely shower and bathroom. Breakfast was extensive - so much to choose from, so there was something for everyone. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and when we asked about the history of the building, the man on reception gave us a little tour and told us all about it. What a fascinating building.

Great boutique hotel. Located in a beautiful old villa, yet very modern. Spacious room, with a comfy bed and armchairs, very clean. Offers free coffee and tea all day. The receptionist Florin was very nice and informative. Located on a quiet street, walking distance from Old Town and from the parliament building. Good breakfast. Quite expensive, but then again prices in Bucharest are higher than in another parts of the country, and the hotel really is very nice.

There was no private parking space available, so we had to park on the payed street parking. Which wasn't easy, because the parking spots close-by are reserved for the local residents. We eventually found a spot a couple hundred meters away.

I had to access the hotel late at night, as my flight arrived then. However, arrangements were made well in advance, with excellent communication from the hotel, and a special code Sent to me that day. I had a little trouble using it, but a phone call to a staff member easily sorted that out, so I gained entry to the hotel and my room, and I enjoyed a lovely hot shower before sleep in my very comfortable bed. The breakfast was unusual for me, but I found plenty to eat that I liked. When leaving, Andrew ordered an Uber for me, took my bags to the meeting place, and spoke to the driver, so I had a good ride to the airport.

Nothing important

Absolutely everything was perfect. Andrew on reception was an absolute ace, nothing was a problem for him. The room was exceptional and I can't get over how brilliant the location was between the old town and the Xmas markets. The in-house restaurant was not only a beautiful venue it served fantastic food at a great price. We ended up eating here several times due to the great feeling it gave us. Housekeeping were spot on and the whole hotel was immaculate. Even though the room had a coffee machine it was easier to go to the free coffee station on the second floor. Great to relax on our chairs with a nice coffee on waking or after walking the city all day

Nothing whatsoever

The hotel is very wll located close to the old town and many of the wondeful sights and building we visited. The room was spaciaous and well appointed and the staff very friendly and helpful. On site restaurant of high quailty and seemed very popular. Breakfast selection was very good as well.

Bed seemed old and was lumpy, creaky and not firm. There were little 'annoyances' of itms not well cared for. However, these did not really deract from a very pleasent stay.

Very nice, comfortable hotel with a great location. The evening receptionist was so helpful and pleasant. We were on the second floor, and there was a very nice cozy lounge with tea and coffee maker. We were only there for 2 nights, so we didn't have an opportunity to enjoy this area. The room had a kettle and coffee machine as well. The breakfast was very nice and the restaurant was also good.

The bed could have been a bit more comfortable. I rarely find a bed I like in a hotel.

First of all, the hotel La Boheme has a great location! Although it is very close (a nice quick walk) from the Old Town of Bucharest, the place is tucked in between a few really quiet streets. So my sleep was really good, I slept like a baby, all quiet and nice. Really pleasant, modern with a vintage feel and clean rooms. The thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice! The free coffee bar was very enjoyable in the morning. Also the rooms have brand new flat screen smart TVs with Netflix included so you can binge watch your favourite show before sleep. Definetly recommend! The staff is very professional and they don't mind you asking silly questions. Robert & Alexandra were very funny and really helpful and kind. The restaurant has a secluded nice spot - a winery where you can gather with a few buddies and order amazing wines, beer and any strong spirits you wish for. Don't worry if you get drunk because the toilet is close enough and you can take the elevator back to your room. The schnitzel was amazing and the atmosphere is great. Tasty and enjoyfull. You might gain a couple of pounds but oh well... you must, and I mean MUST, order dessert. The papanasi are to die for. 🥃

The breakfast service was poor I had to keep going to ask receptionist for cups for the cofffee,to replenish food items and refill cofffee machine in the breakfast room and in the mezzanine area. The one staff member at breakfast was not in the dining room and kept going missing.This was different to the restaurant when we had an evening meal and the service was excellent. The quality and choice of food was good at breakfast but was not under covers and there was flies around. The digital kettle in the room was hit and miss.

The location was great

We booked the so-called “luxury apartment,” but it was neither an apartment nor luxurious. It was actually quite cramped — when the bed was open, there was barely enough room to move around. The additional “room” was in fact a hanging loft with very steep stairs that were hard to climb. Moreover, this room had no wall or door separating it from the living area, so it felt like we were all sleeping in the same space.

The hotel is in a central area and attached to it is an amazing restaurant that is very popular with both locals and tourists My first impression when I walked in was that this was a special place, the staff were lovely and so very helpful We ate (and drank) at the restaurant throughout our stay and rates were very reasonable, on one afternoon there was a jazz band playing, creating a lovely vibe. We deliberately left some books in the room and the receptionist chased after us to alert us to this, we thought this was going the extra mile. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel, the singing fountains are 5 minutes' walk away as well
