The staff was friendly, and the overall interior of the hotel was pleasant. The room was clean and well-maintained. While the breakfast selection could have been more varied, it’s probably acceptable for a 3-star hotel. However, the location is a bit far from the city center—about a 20-minute walk to the Old Town. The biggest downside was the poor sound insulation. It felt like the walls were made of paper—I could clearly hear conversations from neighboring rooms. Whenever other guests closed their doors, the walls in my room would shake.

This hotel met our expectations based on the reviews we had read. We would happily stay here again. The staff were helpful, the breakfast was good, and the room was clean. It was a small room but had enough space for two suitcases and two people. We could walk from here to the central area but it was a bit of a hike (which we were fine with)!

The location doesn't have a lot of restaurants around and those that are nearby close early. This means making your way to the more central area of the city to access restaurants that are open. If you are arriving at night, as we did, this is a challenge as you are not yet oriented. The front desk, who were overall great, were not able to offer any suggestions whatsoever for dinner on our arrival. The photos show the patio area in front of the hotel which we were looking forward to sitting on. What we didn't realize in advance of our arrival is that everyone seems to smoke in Bucharest and almost every table on the patio had smokers making it an undesirable place to sit for those who don't smoke.

I had a pleasant stay at the Ibis Styles Bucharest City Center. The hotel is in a great location with good public transport connections, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which added to the positive experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. A great bonus was the clean and well-equipped fitness room, which I really appreciated during my stay. Overall, it's a comfortable and convenient choice for a stay in Bucharest for a city trip.

I did notice that the water pressure in the shower could be improved, and there were no cups provided in the bathroom. The breakfast was decent, but the selection could have been a bit more varied.

Our room was just what I had hoped for cozy, quiet, and impeccably clean. The bathtub added an extra touch of comfort, making the stay even more enjoyable. The only thing I missed was a better view, as the window was quite small. However, everything else was wonderful, and I truly appreciated the warm and inviting atmosphere.

Also, the pillow was a bit too soft for me, which caused some neck pain and made it difficult to sleep well. Additionally, a larger wardrobe would have been helpful to store all our luggage more comfortably. Overall, we had a lovely experience, and with these small improvements, it would be even better!

Friendly staff, lovely room and great location. Facilities were faultless and breakfast was a great selection. Bed was comfortable and room was very clean. Staff were lovely and friendly from the cleaners to restaurant staff. Receptionist who checked us in was lovely and explained everything to us in English which was super handy.

Food was slightly expensive compared to similar in the area but that is understandable as it is convenient. Only one pillow in the room but I’m sure had we asked for another we would have got it.

This is a great deal for the price point. The hotel is located close to the train station, close to the Cismigiu Park and close to the old town. It is all walkable and with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff are great and the breakfast was plentiful and tasty. This is our second time staying here and it's definitely a great choice.

The rooms are a bit small. But this is honestly not a problem. It was really quite perfect.

When traveling abroad for short-term sightseeing stays, I like to use the services of Ibis hotels. I was not disappointed this time either. The hotel is very well located within walking distance from all the biggest attractions in the city and the old town, there is a metro station nearby and there are public transport lines nearby. Right next to the hotel is a small supermarket that is open from morning to late evening and you can buy everything there. Breakfast at the hotel was very good, rich, tasty and varied. Although the room was not big, it had everything to comfortably spend 4 nights in it, including a small refrigerator and a kettle for making coffee and tea. Moreover, it was oriented to a quiet part. The hotel is well and modernly furnished and has everything you need, including a restaurant. The staff was helpful and accommodating with very good English.

I was unpleasantly surprised that there were only 2 disposable paper cups available, which were not changed until the third day of our stay. That's why we borrowed glasses from the breakfast room. It was also unpleasant that the shower flowed very weakly, even when it was turned on at full capacity.

The hotel is in an ideal location - especially if you like to walk it's 30ish minutes to the old town. Trams are within walking distance. The breakfast was good, as a vegetarian there were enough options. The staff were friendly, and helpful. Room was comfortable with a fridge and tea making facilities. As a female solo traveller I felt safe in the area.

If I was nitpicking, the towels could be of better quality. However, this is the most minor of complaints.

The breakfast was excellent in terms of variety, but the products were not top quality, just decent. The dishes were clean and the environment was nice and good for a breakfast. Coffee was horrible though. I liked that they charge for tooth paste and shaving so that people would not be wasteful though I think they over priced it.

The guy at the reception was not very nice. I arrived at 14:45 and he told me that check in is only at 3 PM but there was already a line of people forming and you would expect a hotel this size to be able to accommodate a few guests earlier and have flexibility, especially when they ask for time of arrival in advance. Of course I understand, but being nice would make things a lot better for guests. No umbrellas. Water was over priced.

Very modern hotel, feels new, fancy lobby with restaurant that you can work in on your laptop (or perhaps even computers provided?) Breakfast had good variety of dishes, staff was very helpful and friendly and helped us store our luggage after checkout in a lockable room. Room was basic but functional. Two narrow beds that were enough for us. Pillows of two kinds- regular and memory foam. Room had a safe. There was a minimarket right next to the hotel. Area is very green, more foresty than the centre, it was very nice.

Windows don’t open up fully, have a limit bar. Breakfast was a bit tasteless. Area is a bit off-centre, so need to rely on buses. Google maps doesn’t show nearly all buses, I found, so double-check using other methods to avoid walking in vain.
