It is a nice little hotel close to the main train station, very useful if you plane on travelling by train at some point as it is barely a 10 minute walk, and just a 30 minute walk to the city center. Room was spacious, and it was clean, beds were comfortable and so were the pillows. The room is equipped with air conditioning and heating, and towels and bedsheets are provided. The breakfast is quiet good and has a considerable variety of food. Tasty and the hall is big enough for all the guests. Everything was fully functional, and the hotel is easy to find and it is also on a quiet street.

The bathroom sometimes smelled really bad, it was a smell coming from the bathroom drainage, must have been old and dirty. My towel had a hole in it, not that it was a problem, but still shows lack of attention. I also noticed a small cockroach near the food at breakfast. Staff is not exactly friendly, and did not speak that much english. There was a confussion at some point with out payment and the treatment seemed rough and inconsiderate. There are no blinds in the room, and the curtain are not rally opaque, allowing a considerable amount of light into the room when the sun rises. I recommend travelling with an eyemask.

Good communication regarding check-in and site entry, friendly staff, good WiFi. Good breakfast. A tip. The hotel is close to 100 bus route to and from the airport and city centre. City centre is about 30mins walk. And 30minutes to the rugby stadium if necessary. 15 minutes away close to Victoria Platz is a small street market selling amazing cakes, sausages and traditional stews.

Good location close to a bus stop connecting the hotel with the city centre. We had two rooms and the first one of it was ready at 11:00 so we could have left luggage 4 hours prior to official checkin time. The beds were comfy, the toilet was clean. There was also a very nice continental breakfast. The first floor was well decorated giving you a vibe from the past and cozyness at the same time. There was also a bookshelf with books available to take and complimentary bottle of water and a very good quality tea with forest fruits available to every tourist. Overall a very pleasant stay for the money paid.

I would recommend changing the floor covers which consisted of old fashioned carpet type which I think absorbs too much dirt and dist and gives a bit of old fashioned overall look. Everything else was good.

It's a nice hotel close to the centre, it's about 10 walk to more of the centre where the main shops and university is. From the airport to the centre it's 50p on the bus in our money about 4 stops and the train just under £1. Drinks are cheap also the food just currency confused us a little but use Google shows how much your spending. Tour to Pelish & (Bran) Dracula's Castle is a decent day out.

Nice place. Clean. Basic but functional. Friendly staff. Air con. Breakfast was again basic but we have to give credit to the lovely Anna who tried her best to accommodate us ... even letting us have the room until 1pm so we weren't hanging around for the taxi. Hotel is situated approx 30 mins walk from the old town and 10 minutes from the train station. We found 2 cracking restaurants within walking distance. Better food at half the price of the city.. So the Hungarian place the old kitchen which is literally 2 mins walk. And a bar and grill near the station which absolutely did the best ribeye iv ever had. So big shout out to them. Grivita bar and grill.

No shower curtain or water shield for the shower. Old mattress with a topper on top. Sheets didn't fit as well as they could have. A word of warning watch out for the yellow taxi's they will rip you off as soon as look at you ...this has nothing to do with the hotel in anyway..

Great hotel, a short (approx 15 minutes) from the Nord railway station that serves the airport. We were arriving fairly late, so had advance instructions on how to access the key safe outside, which was great. Had a twin room, which was a decent size, everything worked well. Breakfast was decent (although a tad early for us on one day at 8am-10am!), andgetting in and out of the hotel was no bother.

Not a lot really. Breakfast could've run till 11am, especially on the weekend, but probably says more about us than the hotel! Weirdly the interior "windows" to your room/bathroom (well as ours did, don't know if the same for every room) just open out onto the hotel corridor, so people could peer in at you having a shower should they have so wished, but I suppose you can just keep em closed! Was a bit of a walk to downtown (approx 30 minutes), so if you've got mobility issues, consider this, but was fine for us to stretch our legs and look around.

A well presented hotel, big bedroom and bathroom with shower over the bath so plenty of space. Breakfast was okay, staff were friendly and helpful.

The area around the hotel looks quite run down, and it is closer to 1km from the train station, rather than 500m advertised on the website. Limited restaurants and bars close by, in comparison with the old town area.

The room was clean, nicely appointed, and peaceful in a hotel with a good location for walking the city and for using public transportation. We appreciated the flexibility with our arrival time and the ability to leave our bags in the morning after check out so we could do more sight-seeing. We liked the electric kettle and available coffee and tea.

We only had a tub, with a hand-held shower device, but the ceiling was very low, so we couldn't stand up and getting out of the tub was a bit tricky. We also had a slight sewer smell in the room, though that dissipated - or we got used to it - as we were in the room longer.

sort of a convenient location, halfway between the train station and the tourist areas, but a distressed neighborhood that was dark and deserted at night. first room was nice. maid from Sri Lanka was nice. The value was very good, breakfast was tasty both days.

more like a converted house, each room was different, mine had no window to look outside. also, didn't appreciate the bug that i saw walking around the food in the breakfast room.

It is pleasant place,a bit far from old town but in description it says that is 1,9km far from centre.Staff is very nice,kind,room is big,bright and clean,bed is comfortable.I think all would be much better if it wasn't sooooo hot outside,so my review is not so objective I guess...
