The hotel has a rather old-fashioned elegance, and is none the worse for it. It is in the affluent semi-suburb of Dorobanti, not very far from the Ceausescu house - think tree lined avenues of large houses in various, often interesting architectural styles, very charming to stroll down in the evening. There are restaurants and abundant cafes nearby. It is about 4km from the old town, but as I like to walk this did not concern me. My spacious room had a double aspect, a proper bath, a useful little fridge, a small table and chairs. The bed was fantastically comfortable with a splendidly supportive mattress.

I found the bedroom quite warm, and opening a window of the otherwise very quiet room allowed in the noise of the hectic roundabout off which the hotel is situated. Bucharest driving is a form of warfare, with car horns substituting for small-arms fire. If travelling in the summer, I would check the room-cooling arrangements.

Possibly the best room I've stayed in in Romania: bright and airy, very comfortable bed with lovely big pillows, real attention to detail with the fixtures and fittings. They even had bathroom scales. The location was brilliant too, on the edge of the Capitale and Dorobanti neighbourhoods with an excellents selection of restaurants and museums close by. Capitale is a particularly nice part of the city to stroll around in on a Saturday morning and admire the architecture.

Having a code to type in for hotel and room access was just annoying, especially for those of us who need reading glasses. Some noise from the bar opposite the hotel. The reception area was a bit underwhelming. No lift.

Everything was more than perfect. We stayed here for two different nights within the same week, so two different check-ins. During the first stay we've got a 0 floor room which was huge, we absolutely loved it. The second time we've got an upper floor room which was a bit smaller, but with a very big bathroom instead. The decoration of the rooms is stunning, really elegant and impeccable clean, which is something important for us. The location was perfect for our stay - lots of well reviewed restaurants walking distance away, coffee shops and not to mention the neighborhood which has the type of architecture that takes you back to the era Bucharest used to be called the 'little Paris'. Would definitely return here.

The room is nice, everything is exceptional, but I knew how it was because I put my mom and my daughter to stay here once. The personal is nice, plus they allowed me to come earlier to the room.

It is not that I didn't like it is more a suggestion. The Tv has a frame as a painting, well it is nice to fit with the style of the room, but because of the frame you cannot use the remote control from bed, you have to stand in front of it and change the channels and do whatever you need to from there. So, I suggest you to take off the frame, even if it would mean that the Tv won't fit with the style, anyway it is a Tv, it doesn't have to be vintage.

1) Location is just PERFECTLY pinned, between northern parts of the city, and other central parts kf the city, jn a very elegant neighborhood, surrounded by green and neat places to sit for a meal and drink. 2) The room is clean (just a tiny little attention to the A/C that is very full with dust, needs a quick vacuum), elegant, simple and very comfortable. 3) Breakfast is very rich and nice. We loved it!! 4) No need to carry your key, the facility has electronic codes to let you in. Perfect!

Nothing to mention, we will definitely book this place again.

The location is excellent, less than 5 minutes walk to a bus stop for the centre. Plenty restaurants nearby, and walking distance to Piața Victoriei. Staff is friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back here.

The breakfast is certainly adeqate, but I would have loved a slightly higher quality muesli, and some nuts. And hot milk for the coffee. Thank you!

Lovely hotel in a nice area. The rooms are beautiful and big. We asked if we could come early and leave our luggage at the desk and the staff went out of their way to get our room ready hours before check in time. Also gifted us a bottle of wine for our anniversary.

No lift (elevator). No toiletries in the bathroom, just soap dispensers, though this may have been a mistake due to preparing the room so early.

No parking. Lady on front desk just waved me to find parking on the street God knows where not being familiar with area and fines (6 pm in Bucharest downtown) Literally 0 parking spots for guests seems terrible. I think even more so if there are and we were just dismissed rudely.

The area is very nice and actually calm.

The building’s security could definitely use some improvement. It’s concerning that the access codes for the building and the rooms are identical, making it quite easy for someone to guess. Additionally, the fact that the receptionist knows all the room codes is a bit worrying, especially since there isn’t always someone on duty. Upgrading these aspects would really enhance our sense of security here!

Location of the property is very good because you have everything you could need within walking distance. Room was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast had plenty of options, even fresh pastries.

Because the villa is located near a busy road, you can hear a lot of traffic noise inside the room. Pillows are too high so an upgrade on that would definitely improve the confort of the guests.
