I liked a lot the staff. All excellent. I can recommend for the employee of the month Iulia Bica Maria that helped with all needed for a perfect experience. The hotel was full as it was the December 1 and a lot of customers came for the event. There was also a huge running contest - EcoTrail. Both of them filled Cluj accomodation. Breakfast was very good. Rich. They have a waffle machine! Room and bathroom were very big. They offered free water in an eco way - via a dispenser placed on each floor and an included glass water bottle. Price was ok.

The whole stay was fantastic! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. A very special thank you to the ladies in the restaurant each morning – they took such great care of me, especially with my celiac and dairy allergies, preparing safe meals and brightening my mornings with kind words. The reception team was also amazing – always friendly, helpful, and quick to solve even the small things that made my stay more comfortable. A heartfelt thank you to Maria for her care and professionalism in handling the window issue. I felt genuinely valued as a guest.

Honestly, nothing major! Everything met or exceeded my expectations. If I had to find one thing… it’s that you don’t serve homemade lemonade! In Cluj, elderflower lemonade is basically a national treasure, and I missed it dearly at breakfast. Next time, maybe?

Great staff, a nice, quiet room, heavenly comfortable beds (including the extendable couch for our son), care for sustainability (filtered water fountains on the halls, for drinking, or for the coffee maker / tea boiler, agreement on what to change sheets and towels, refillable bottles with soaps and similar, etc.). Also solutions for ungodly hours breakfast (a small station with coffee machine and a limited but very handy breakfast selection) and complimentary sandwiches for early travellers. Smooth communication with the Reception. We really felt pampered and for sure we will come back!

A small "mid" impression is that the sliding doors to the bathrooms leave a small gap or, in the larger rooms (we experienced this two years ago) they have wall-to-wall wall (sanded) glass walls, so less privacy. As a small family we acomodated this without a fuss. For people travelling for work and sharing rooms... it could go weird.

Even though the hotel was "only" 3 stars, it actually felt more premium than some 4 star hotels we've been in. What we appreciated a lot, was the fact how the fair the pricing was. They didn't try to extort 5 EUR for a 330ml bottle of water, you had the possibility refill from a water filter. The mini fridge was available for your own products. All essentials could be received at the reception free of charge (which was a nice way to avoid unnecessary garbage), there was a free car charger and, whoever would like it, could a get 24/7 a Pizza for 7.50 EUR, which seems pretty fair for a hotel. Break, while not the biggest variety, was decent enough for 3 days and over all tasty. The staff (desk and room service) where polite and forthcoming.

The noise can be bit bothersome. Besides the occasional airplanes departing above the city (this a general issue of Cluj), you are right next to the main road and not far from the fire station. We were too sensible to sleep with open window, others might be less bothered.

This is probably the fifth time I'm staying at the Hampton Hilton, which tells a story. Staff is very obliging and polite. The room was large enough, while the distance to the centre of the city (Unirii Square) meant a 15 minutes walk. The minibar in the room was OK, plus you could get water from the tanks on each floor. Breakfast was excellent, even for choosier and fussier customers.

The only thing we didn't understand was the reason they put us in a room for the disabled. Nothing to dislike, though. Just a somewhat troubling detail. And you know who hides in details.

Pretty much everything was great. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, especially Maria. The room was clean and nice. The water pressure in the shower was better than in other hotels I've stayed at. The breakfast was varied and very tasty. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but you can order pizza at the bar, it's pretty good. I also liked the fact that they have water dispensers on every floor and you can refill your water bottle for free. Last of all, the hotel is located within walking distance of the city center, which is very convenient.

Not really something i didn't like per se, but it would be great to open the street level parking with the room card in the future. Now you have to ask the reception to open it for you every time.

Location is great, being in the middle of both the old town area and the airport, so easy access to both (car rides in either direction took about 15 mins or less.) Front desk staff were efficient and quick, which I like, though some others might describe it as a bit curt, but it was fine by me. There's a Lidl within walking distance, so that was a nice bonus as well. Neighbourhood generally felt safe when walking along the streets in the evening.

Nothing, really. One small drawback is that there's no hot food available on the weekends, but you can order food in using a delivery app.

The hotel was much better than expected in all aspects. The staff was a 10/10 as were the amenities. You get everything you might need in your room, including slippers, a hair dryer, and an iron. The hotel has a bar that also sells some snacks and even some vanity items like: hand cream, toothbrush, etc. Parking was easy, and it has charging stations, which guests can use for free. Breakfast was varied, and it also included some traditional Romanian food. The fact that filtered water was available to guests 24/7, free of charge, was a very nice surprise. You get a glass bottle in your room, and you can get water from a machine on every floor. The location was also good. It is about 15 minutes away from the city centre by foot and 10 minutes away by bus. We will definitely come back in the future.

I've had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was very professional and helpfull. Rooms were spotless clean, quiet (even with all the car traffic), great view from the 7th floor :). Big screen TV with lots of tv channels in many languages. The breakfast was good, products were fresh and plenty. The free underground parking was very useful, since it's hard to park so close to city center Very close to city center (5-10 minutes walk)

Good location and it is a plus that the hotel has parking facilities. Decent breakfast and nice room.

Heating facilities need special instructions to be able to operate with.. it is centrally set to 24 degrees in winter, which is fine, but it was not on when we arrived, so it took a few good hours to reach the decent 21 degrees to be able to stay in the room normally. Just for comparison, the hallway was much warmer than the room.
