The hotel is located about a 10-minute walk from the seaside. There is no air conditioning in the corridors. At the restaurant terrace, there is no designated non-smoking area. Each table had an ashtray, so if you’re unlucky enough to sit near smokers, it spoils the experience. We only dined there once because of this. Otherwise, the food was very tasty.

The room lacked a coffee machine or even a kettle. Most 4 star hotels offer a coffee maker, but this wasn’t a major issue for me.

Outstanding breakfast is served until 10:30 AM every day. Can’t have a better breakfast. However, the fried eggs and egg-based pastries should be kept hotter — they were only lukewarm. Room is very clean. The room was decent in size with lots of storage. We have stayed here repeatedly over the last several years. Even with a room facing the main boulevard, the traffic dies down at ~10 PM and it’s very quiet after that point.

Almost nothing to dislike. But I don’t like that smoking is allowed in the glassed-in dining area, where in cold weather all the glass panels are closed and heaters are turned on. So it’s really an indoor dining area. I guess that’s allowed under Romanian law.

Navečer smo se spustili u njihov restoran koji nas je očarao. Doručak je bio obilan, redovno su dopunjavali sve i baš smo se lijepo najeli raznih stvari. Zahtjev za dječjim krevetom nam je ispunjen.

Jedine stvari koje su nam smetale su žabe koje su se baš jako čule sa jezera te činjenica da se parking plaća. Iako smo mi došli u subotu pa smo imali sreće jer se vikendom ne plaća.

The hotel was excellent, with a spacious and perfectly equipped room, a huge comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning, and cleanliness. The staff was so flexible and did their job so well that it was almost as if they weren't even there.

Perhaps the parking situation could be improved, as it is paid, the hotel could provide proper permits. We will definitely return here.

Everything is amazing! We always choose this hotel when we travel to the seaside. We recommend room facing the lake. Very clean, modern, restaurant always exceeds our expectations, fresh and delicious food, vegetarian options, vegan milk for our caffe latte. The people are very friendly and open to specific requests. Also, there is a quite familiar feeling when staying at On Plonge, it always feels like home.

The breakfast variety was good, the view of the lake was amazing and the location was great.

Air conditioning was a bit weak for this size of a room or the personnel could have preplanned the stay and started the conditioning early for the guests. As well there was not hair conditioner.

As always, a very nice hotel with spacious and clean rooms, respectful staff, very nice view towards the lake, and a great restaurant on the premises.

The breakfast in the first day was fine, in the second day the salad seemed a bit unfresh and the eggplant salad contained big chunks instead of being smooth.

Room was mostly ok, pretty clean, with AC and a nice view over the lake. Staff was nice and helpful. We ate there for breakfast and everything was ok, you had different options to choose from.

The only bad thing was the smell of the entire room. It appeared to come from the bathroom, keeping the bathroom door closed at all times appeared to help a little, but did not fix the isssue, as it was pretty bad.

Good location, nice rooms, great breakfast and generally a good value for money.

The room reserved for us was just above the children 's playground at the 1st floor and there was a lot of noise until 11-12 Pm. The hotel staff was fast to move us to another room as soon as we talked to them so happy to see such a fast reaction

The restaurant was fabulous. Reception staff were really helpful and friendly. Nice lakeside location for breakfast and an evening drink. The gym was excellent.

The hotel and rooms are a little tired looking.
