Outstanding breakfast is served until 10:30 AM every day. Can’t have a better breakfast. However, the fried eggs and egg-based pastries should be kept hotter — they were only lukewarm. Room is very clean. The room was decent in size with lots of storage. We have stayed here repeatedly over the last several years. Even with a room facing the main boulevard, the traffic dies down at ~10 PM and it’s very quiet after that point.

Almost nothing to dislike. But I don’t like that smoking is allowed in the glassed-in dining area, where in cold weather all the glass panels are closed and heaters are turned on. So it’s really an indoor dining area. I guess that’s allowed under Romanian law.

The hotel was excellent, with a spacious and perfectly equipped room, a huge comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning, and cleanliness. The staff was so flexible and did their job so well that it was almost as if they weren't even there.

Perhaps the parking situation could be improved, as it is paid, the hotel could provide proper permits. We will definitely return here.

Everything is amazing! We always choose this hotel when we travel to the seaside. We recommend room facing the lake. Very clean, modern, restaurant always exceeds our expectations, fresh and delicious food, vegetarian options, vegan milk for our caffe latte. The people are very friendly and open to specific requests. Also, there is a quite familiar feeling when staying at On Plonge, it always feels like home.

Room was mostly ok, pretty clean, with AC and a nice view over the lake. Staff was nice and helpful. We ate there for breakfast and everything was ok, you had different options to choose from.

The only bad thing was the smell of the entire room. It appeared to come from the bathroom, keeping the bathroom door closed at all times appeared to help a little, but did not fix the isssue, as it was pretty bad.

As always, a very nice hotel with spacious and clean rooms, respectful staff, very nice view towards the lake, and a great restaurant on the premises.

The breakfast in the first day was fine, in the second day the salad seemed a bit unfresh and the eggplant salad contained big chunks instead of being smooth.

Good location, nice rooms, great breakfast and generally a good value for money.

The room reserved for us was just above the children 's playground at the 1st floor and there was a lot of noise until 11-12 Pm. The hotel staff was fast to move us to another room as soon as we talked to them so happy to see such a fast reaction

To us it feels like a family business hotel equipped with a very nice restaurant that runs all over the year, not only during the summer season. Rooms are big, clean, with a comfy mattress. Food that one may find at the On Plonge Jr. restaurant was always in the very good value and taste range. You can enjoy dinner on the lake shore with a spectacular view of the sun set. Sometimes piano live music gives that perfect vacation vibe. 🥰 A very nice experience that we hope to repeat. Please have in mind that the hotel and the restaurant are very busy during weekends and holidays, so book a room/table well in advance.

Waiters probably didn't fully recovered after the New Year's party and they looked a bit grumpy, looking to go home asap, maybe to take some rest - everything felt on fast forward 1 hour before the closing.

Great room - confortable, spacious, with a nice balcony overlooking the lake. Nice & helpful staff.

Breakfast could have been better (especially the coffee). Also, the joy of having a lake view was shadowed by all the garbage în the lake and the homeless people living on the small island right next to the hotel.

The hotel was so nice, staff very friendly, the rooms were big and very modern looking. The lake view is amazing. The way the sun reflects in the water and then on the room ceiling is beautiful

Not the hotel fault, but the crosswalk was very far. You need to make a detour to get to the city center

The sunset panorama to the Siutghiol lake is marvelous! OnPlonge Jr restaurant represents a nice addition, for some it may be more attractive than the hotel itself. Families with kids would be delighted by this place, we always return with pleasure. With some minor adjustments (a bit more comfy mattress, maybe some variations of the breakfast) I think this hotel could get a 5* rating.
