I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Marea Neagră in Sinaia. The place exceeded my expectations in every way – the rooms were spotless, cozy, and well-maintained, offering the comfort I was looking for. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and varied, making every meal a delight. One of the highlights was the surrounding landscape – almost like stepping into an “Amazon-like” scenery, with lush greenery and a peaceful atmosphere that made the whole experience feel special and relaxing. The staff deserves a special mention – everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, which made me feel truly taken care of. Overall, it was a perfect blend of comfort, nature, and hospitality. I would gladly return and recommend it to anyone visiting Sinaia!

Wonderful hotel! The staff was so friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were spacious but quaint. Very comfortable beds, and our chair turned into an extra bed for more space for bigger families staying too. The balcony is nice with a great view or you can sit in front of the restaurant terrace and take in the fresh mountain air. The included breakfast was delicious with lots of options (and nice hours so you don't feel rushed, 8-11), and the restaurant itself is open late until 10pm with a big menu of delicious Romanian food and affordable prices. Peles Castle is a very short walk away (5 min) and the Monastery and center are 15-20 away too which is fantastic for getting to see Sinaia. Overall a fantastic hotel to visit Sinaia, I would stay here much longer next time to decompress and enjoy the mountain forest.

Marea Neagra is a great choice when visiting Sinaia! The hotel is clean and cozy, and it offers an extraordinary view from all floors (we stayed on the 2nd floor). The room was clean and very big, and the bed was comfy. Wi-Fi worked great everywhere. The check-in and check-out processes were easy. Finally, the staff is very polite, friendly, and helpful! Plus - great breakfast choices! Thank you for everything, we will visit again :D

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The room was clean and comfortable, making my stay enjoyable. The food was excellent, we had both lunch and dinner at the hotel, and everything was tasty and freshly prepared. Breakfast was also delicious with a nice variety of fresh options. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and great food in a calm setting.

An elevator is essential. Lugging luggage up 3 floors, as a single mom, is absolutely awful - and yes, given that I was known to be just a mom with a baby, they could with a little goodwill have allocated a room below the 3rd floor. then the bathroom sink is very narrow and in addition there is a very steep glass shelf, so impossible to use that makes the activity of washing your face, on the verge of impossible

The rooms were very nice and clean and maintained regularly. The temperature was spot on and the beds very confortable. The mountain view was worth it as we enjoyed the early mornings and late evenings. The restaurant had a good space and the food was excellent. The breakfast was delicious and plenty. We also ate a few times for lunch and dinner and it was really good. The location is very close to the gondola at cota 1000 and Peles Castle and also to the last station for buses making it incredibly easy to visit everything. All in all a great price for the experience.

The staff were generally ok, but on arrival we were treated a bit rushed and not very welcoming. The staff at the restaurant was very cold and expeditive. Even though there were not many guests, they had a condescending atitude towards us and other guests who were relaxed and were trying to have a good time. All in all we made the best of it but they gave a very unwelcoming vibe, like they didn t like being there.

Location : The hotel is "as promised" - located on a street somewhere up the hill towards the Gondola, a quiet area. Room: The room is really big, ours was with a big double bed in which our 7yo kid fit with us (we did not need to use the extensible armchair which is also big). The bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast: Good, diverse enough.

Parking : it is obvious the number of parking spaces are less than the number of rooms. We were able to park across the road, but far from ideal - on a half-paved walkway. Bathroom: They knew we have a 3rd person but only put towels for 2 people (thankfully they were in enough numbers to pass one to my kid).

Location was walkable to Peles castle, monastery and beyond. Food was excellent value for money some local dishes and standard fare suitable for all. The very best thing about this property were the staff, always friendly and willing to help, nothing was too much trouble and always smiling from the cleaners to the waiting team to the reception staff.

Good hotel close to Peleș castle and Telegondola. Good breakfast, options for vegetarians. The restaurant of the hotel have many options for meals, good food, great personnel. The rooms are large, with new furniture, nice view to the mountains where it is the case. Parking around the hotel. Good connection with the city center with the bus just near the hotel.

Distance to Sinaia city center, but ok, good connection by bus.

Everything was fine, we liked the room, staff, food. The position of the hotel is great - close to Peles Castle and close to gondola cable-car. If you want to get to the city-center (besides your car) you can take the small bus-train.

A play-room where kids can gather and play would be a great investment. Also, buy whatever you need from Sinaia center, in the evening you cannot find any open shops near the hotel, not even to get water.
