We have had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Central in Timisoara a few times, and I can't express enough how wonderful our experience always is! The staff goes above and beyond to ensure our stay is always comfortable and enjoyable, always greeting us with a warm smile and helpful recommendations ( thanks Daniel!!! 😊 ) The rooms itself are a haven of comfort, very cozy beds that makes it hard to get up in the morning! It is impeccably clean, reflecting the hotel’s commitment to maintaining high standards. Additionally, the location couldn't be more perfect. Just a short stroll from the stunning cathedral, which makes it able to enjoy beautiful views and immerse ourselves in the local culture easily. If you're looking for a hotel in Timisoara with excellent service, great cost, superb comfort, and a great location, I highly recommend Hotel Central.

We were delighted with this hotel. Budget price but it was spotlessly clean, super friendly and helpful staff, and perfect location. The only downside was the bed linen and towels were rough, but very clean so didn't matter. Breakfast was basic but entirely sufficient for q short stay and again the dining room spotlessly clean. The concierge couldn't do enough to help us. We were extremely happy. The hotel is nothing to look at from the outside but the art deco lifts were stunning, and beautifully polished as was the rest of the hotel. Well done cleaning staff. Thank you

Decent size room facing the car park which are normally better than the other ones on the other side where I have been staying in before. Very good location right in the middle of the city. Decent double bed, flat screen TV,

Not a desk or a chair in the room hence a bit difficult if you are traveling for work. Very noisy in the sense that you can hear any whisper from all your neighbors, the bathroom ceiling does nor exist and you can see the pipes from the above room while being quite noisy during the night when they were flushing the toilet. At some point someone was smoking in the near by rooms and there was smoke in my room as well. Parking can be an issue during the day and also very expensive pay by hour up to 1.5 euro / hour and you will need to pay from 8 am to 8 pm. Breakfast was optional however from my past experience wasn't worth it hence you can walk down the road 50m and you are surrounded by offers including Mc. Donalds if you are a fast food lover.

Room was excellent, clean, bed and pillows comfortable, no noise even facing the street, which was preferred for the view. Accommodating vegan breakfast, no reception at night but very welcomed by staff for check-in at late hours. Visited mid June, the scented, perfume of mid-peak flowering linden was mirific. Would recommend as excellent for location, central, the town is alive in the evenings, people walking and having a good time all along the biggest pedestrian area with shops and restaurants. There is even piano live music in Piata Libertatii.

Excellent location, in the city center, but surprisingly, it is still a very quiet place. Nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable and functional. Kind and friendly staff. The breakfast was not very diverse, but everything I needed was offered: coffee, fresh fruits and vegetables, so I have no complaints :) I stayed one overnight only, but overall it was aligned with expectations. Good value for money.

I have stayed here several times over the last twenty-five years. The hotel has a certain charm reminiscent of communist era Romania. The en-suite bathrooms and electrics have been upgraded but little else appears to have changed. Well situated a few metres from the centre, cathedral and theatre it is the perfect place to stay.

Breakfast is too late for the morning trains to Hungary or further into Romania

The size of the room, the view from my window, the fact that I was not extremely noisy (except for the neighbors' bathroom doors), the fact that it was clean and had plenty of luggage space. They did not offer minibar (I would have refused it anyway) but the minibar fridge was present and working fine so I could keep my drinking water cold. AC working perfectly and not bothering me with its noise...

the bathroom door was a slide to open one and you could hear the neighbors' doors moving around each time they went to their bathrooms for a short visit.

The hotel is in a great location, a few steps from the main square, surrounded by shops and restaurants, but still very quiet and pleasant.The rooms are clean and well maintained. Modest, but have everything you need for a comfortable stay.The staff is extremely friendly and I have to say thank you again to the lady at the reception who paid for our parking for a few hours from her phone and did not want a refund.The breakfast is good and I think everyone can find something to their liking.

The hotel is in the very center, has everything you need, even a small fridge (which I haven't had in any hotel so far). If you're expecting luxury, I don't think this is for you, but if you're expecting a hotel in a great location, clean, with all the basics and friendly staff, you won't regret it.

Nothing bothered me, even the hotel itself has a bit of an old-fashioned feel to it.

Great location, right in the center. Clean room. Good price for that location.

No free parking. The parking near the hotel it’s public and you can only pay per hour because it is green area. If you stay longer, you will need to send 12 messages/day and this also makes it expensive. It’s better and cheaper to park further from the hotel, outside the green area, where you can pay per day. Restaurant should be renovated, otherwise it’s better to have breakfast outside the hotel, in a nicer place.
