The ideal location - step out and in less than 2 minutes you are at the gumbaz- the Roza e Rasool! Exceptionally friendly staff- check in experience was fantastic- super sweet and Friendly Deema- when she realized we had booked 10 nights- gave us a complementary upgrade to 9th floor! Seamless easy check in, clean and welcoming facility. The housekeeping staff- Momin, Tanveer and rest of his charismatic crew never batted an eyelid- always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay super comfortable and memorable. Breakfast was lovely- Mr. Zeyard and the entire team were amazing- very accommodating, always smiling and respectful- and food was plentiful and delicious- Alhamdulillah. Overall an amazing experience in this CITY OF OUR BELOVED PROPHET ﷺ

The location for the men to enter Masjid Nabwi and for saying Salam is very near and it is also near the entry designated for Riyazul Jannah. The staff is helpful, specially Mr..Zahir Faraz at the restaurant and Mr. Farhat. I requested for a late check out and it was kindly accepted. The breakfast was very good

The women's gates is a little far and becomes an even longer walk if one wishes for a good place inside the masjid.

Everything that this hotel had to offer 2as phenomenal! While the surrounding area may not have much to offer, the hotel provides you with EVERYTHING you need. The staff are extremely hospitable. The food at the hotel was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had, given it was my first time in Saudi Arabia. The room was exactly what I asked for and more. The only complaint is that it is a bit of a driving distance to the downtown/Bayside area, but not enough of a drive that would ruin your experince/make you regret your stay. Absolutely amazing hotel and will be recommending it in the future 100%. 100/10.

The surrounding area may seem daunting but truly is safe to walk by yourself at anytime of the day/afternoon/evening times (granted you know a little arabic.)

- Good location, approximately 3 minutes walk to Masjid An Nabawi forecourt, 5-6 minutes from the point of leaving hotel to entering Gate #5 of the Masjid. - Close to a few eateries, small cafes etc. Opposite new museum which has further food options. - Complimentary shuttle bus service (drop-off and pick-up) for sisters for each Salah.

- Whilst the general location of the hotel is good, it is a 15-20 minutes walk to the sisters entrance in the Masjid. The complimentary shuttle bus service somewhat compensates for this, however if you miss the bus it is a long walk, especially during the summer months. Perhaps less of a problem during winter. - Cleaning of the rooms was satisfactory but surprisingly the room wasn't always vaccummed. - The hotel is reasonably well maintained but the rooms are starting to show their age a little and need a degree of refurbishment.

The location is amazing in regards to getting to masjid Nabawi. Within 3 mins you can enter the masjid. For women the available gates are around 8 minutes past. For rawda access it is perfect. Wonderful hotel would recommend and would return.

We has a little mishap where we needed to use the hotel phone to call a saudi number, due to the front desk staff English they misunderstood and said it was okay and didn't explain any further charges. On check out then we were charged 50 riyal for a 3 minute call which we were not notified about any charges. This visibility would have been appreciated but we did understand the charge but wish that it was communicated to us at the start.

The hotel is near the Masjid Nabawi and just about 2 minutes walk from the hotel to the male section of the holy mosque. Even though it is not as close to the female section, it's a reasonable walking distance to the female section as well. However, the hotel has exceptional value for money compared to other hotels nearby.

The cleaning service is not done regularly, and we had to make a request for it before it's done, and even then, it's not done daily.

I loved the hotel facilities and assistance provided by front office/ reception by a man called Yousef Ahmed. His professionalism was next level and he went above and beyond to assist me and my friends and made our trip to Madinah memorable. I will definitely choose Crown Plaza again. Thank you Yousuf for your all assistance during our stay and I look forward to my next stay already.

Room toiletries

I recently had a very pleasant stay at the Crowne Plaza Madinah. The location is excellent—just a short walk to Masjid-e-Nabawi, especially convenient being so close to Gate No. 4.

I would suggest that some in-room items such as the floor lamp be repaired or replaced to maintain the high standard. Additionally, providing a small fruit basket along with the complimentary tea, coffee, and water would enhance the welcome experience and further strengthen the bond between guests and the hotel.
