With the rooms ground floor it is so nice to enjoy direct entry to the swimming pool from the steps of your room! The swimming pool is a dimond of this hotel - it is big and temperature controlled, even in July afternoon the water is not hot and in the early morning the water is really refreshing. We spent more time in the pool than in the room. The staff of the hotel is very very good, they do utmost to make guests be happy, security man at the swimming pool (sorry, did not ask his name) does his job perfectly - not only watching guests to be safe, but cleaning the swimming pool literally day and night, taking good care of it, kudos! Reception staff are professional and fast, they are explaining everything about hotel in a proper, understandable way, thank you. I really like the hotel concept to provide room cleaning upon guests request only!!! This is smart decision - not to disturb guests, to save cleaners time and to care about environment. Actually for 4 nights of our stay we did not request any cleaning, it was not required. Though...have noticed that windows are not taken care of, very dirty, as well as balcony glass (partitions). We liked the rooms - they are not big but look spacious because the ceiling is high. The bathroom is well arranged, the only missing is hand towel rack. Shower area is having a shelf, so i placed all my cosmetic staff there. Also suggest to have one bigger waste bin in the bathroom and room, coz available ones are not enough even for one night stay and are really petite. Food...here is where my small concern is. Only meat options are there in the menu, may we suggest to add at least one fish meal.

There is nothing to dislike as per our vision.

We booked one of the chalet with direct pool access. We are a family of four with 2 kids. The room is very clean, and spacious with modern and luxurious feel. The rooms are equipped with smart tv so no issues connecting to your Netflix account when you want to watch your favorite tv series. The toilet & bath is spacious and modern. But what we like most is that when you go out of your balcony, you are immediately greeted by a very wide pool. The hotel maintains their facilities meticulously. The pool is very clean. The kids totally enjoyed swimming until got tired. With the unlimited pool access alone, we feel that we got the value for the money we paid. The place is homey and the staff are very friendly and accommodating especially Ms. Shara who was at the pool bar in our first day and at the restaurant the following day. She would always greet us with a warm smile. We will definitely come back to Kay Homes! Now I can say that this is one of our favorite destinations during holidays.

Service was outstanding, booking the stay was easy, They allowed me a late check out, Salah was friendly and professional ensured my check in and check out were hustle free. Room Service was efficient and the food was scrumptious courtesy of Grace. I would so recommend Kay homes for a peaceful gateway.

Last weekend marked my third stay at KAY Homes RAK, and this time I had the pleasure of bringing my family along. KAY Homes has always been my go-to destination for weekend or long weekend getaways, and for a special family occasion, I couldn’t think of a better place. After more than a year, I was pleasantly surprised by all the new additions and upgrades. They now have a new building featuring a welcoming lobby, a warm reception area, and a newly opened restaurant serving breakfast and other meals. I had the opportunity to meet the General Manager of KAY Homes, who greeted us with genuine warmth and kindness. She ensured our stay was seamless and even asked for feedback about my previous visits, which I appreciated. A special mention goes to Mr. Faisal, who ensured our check-in was smooth and quick. He greeted us with his signature warm smile and had already helped me complete the payment process prior to our arrival. He understood how excited we were and made sure we could head straight to the villa without delay. As a thoughtful gesture, he handed us a small memento, a KAY Homes tissue box and cookies at checkout as a thank-you for our stay. The villas are incredibly spacious and comfortable—you truly don’t feel like leaving them. Each bedroom comes with an attached, well-maintained washroom stocked with clean towels, dental kits, and other essentials. The rooms are cozy with good-quality beds and soft blankets, plus ample storage space. Some rooms even have attached balconies. On the top floor, there's a barbecue setup for those who enjoy grilling. The ground floor features a smart TV where you can connect to your favorite OTT platforms or YouTube. The large kitchen is well-equipped with appliances, a spacious fridge, cooking vessels to make your maggi or rice, a microwave to pop some popcorn for movies, and basic cutlery including plates, cups, and spoons. I’m genuinely happy to see KAY Homes growing and improving with each visit.

There’s absolutely nothing I can mention

We stayed as a group of 17 people, and every single need was met with ease. The staff was outstanding - super quick, responsive, and always available via WhatsApp, making communication effortless. No request was too big; they always had a solution ready. The food was amazing, with plenty of complimentary treats, and the BBQ with the chef exceeded all expectations - such a great way to feed a large group! The rooftop BBQ area on the villas is a game-changer. The pool and facilities were excellent, the houses were spacious and comfortable, and the beds were great for a good night’s sleep. The place was quiet and perfect for both work and leisure, giving us plenty of space for our team activities. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend it to large groups looking for a seamless experience!

The location is very peaceful. Away from the busy city life. The staff is super nice. We checked in and went for shopping in the city. Came back late the reception was closed but even the security was soo helpful at 1:00 am helped with our bags and room. The pool is clean and well maintained. The food is delicious! Breakfast buffet is recommended! Definitely going to come back for another visit!

A squeaky noise coming from the vents. Like something with the swings of the air conditioner. But it was manageable.

The property is lovely. But I want to give a shoutout to the staff, especially my man Faical at reception. They say every perception/impression begins from the first interaction, and mine was with Faical on the phone and then at the venue. He's great, helpful, cheerful and set the tone for the staycation. I had called the reception multiple times ( the other person was very helpful, too), and they guided/accommodated me every time. Highly recommended. The fam approves ;)

Only giving feedback as it could be helpful—a super minor point. The floor seems to have a light layer of dust on it - BUT this is in the desert, so it's expected. So, perhaps having slippers ready at the entrance would be helpful as a counter.

We were a group of 3 couples and we stayed at the place for 2 Nights and 3 days from 8th to 11th April 2024. The place is pretty cool. Will definitely try another weekend at Kay Homes The staff are all amazing. They were very helpful, friendly and accomodating. To name a few, Ms. Grace, Mr. Amine, Mr. Abilesh. Chef James is so cool and anticipates your requirement. Keep up the good work.

One thing that I would like to suggest that... Please consider installing handles for the shower area in the bathroom. This is a must for the safety of the guests. If possible, consider mattresses with higher density. The ones in the room are too soft.

I have to say, one of the highlights for me was the direct access to the pool. It was incredibly convenient to step right outside and dive in whenever I wanted. The pool itself was well-maintained, sparkling clean, and had a refreshing atmosphere that made it the perfect spot to unwind.

Despite the comfortable accommodations, the noise from a few racing cars on the nearby road was disruptive for people sensitive to noise. I hope the hotel can address this issue, as everything else about our stay was very pleasant.
