From booking to arriving the communication has been outstanding. I had sent a message about late check in, which I was a little worried about. But received a reply stopping my stress straight away! When we did arrive it was late but we were still met with a smiling and very polite Debbie. She showed us around and explained some bits. Then took us to the most beautiful room. The room had everything we could ever need. It was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. When we woke the next morning we went down to the dining room for breakfast. The breakfast gave you a great start to the day with plenty of choices meaning both days we didn’t need lunch!! Both Debbie and Denise were friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable of the area. Two ladies who love what they do and it shows in the accommodation and the way they treat you. We would definitely return it’s in a great location to walk to Torquay or drive. Thank you

The only thing that could improve but it is a minor detail is the pressure in the shower.

We stayed at this lovely guest house for a short honeymoon with our 3-year-old daughter, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. We were a bit worried at first that the room wouldn’t be suitable for a family, but we were pleasantly surprised — it was spotless, comfortable, and had all the amenities we could possibly need. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everyone we met was always smiling and friendly. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended!

The property was spotlessly clean. The room was comfortable, well equipped and light and airy. There was a lovely view from the window of the garden, trees and houses beyond. Denise and Debbie were lovely ladies, friendly, helpful. The breakfast was delicious. A good choice of breakfast items. The location was good, it was handy for the town and seafront.

The property is on a hill so might not be suitable for older or less mobile people. Although there are plenty of taxis available.

Absolutely brilliant, the hospitality and accommodation was best we have experienced. The rooms were spotless, the breakfast was excellent and the owners were really friendly and helpful. We would rate the stay at 10 out of 10.

There was nothing to not like with the Sandpiper Guest house, everything was just right, Debbie and Denise made sure that our stay with them was absolutely the best.

Well maintained clean guest house with free parking. Good quality breakfast and the owners were friendly, helpful interesting people with a great enthusiastic approach to their business.

Would have preferred a bigger room and quite a hilly long walk into the main part of Torquay. However the good standards there make up for it.

The room was spotless, light and airy with lots of windows for a lovely breeze whilst getting ready for the wedding we were attending. The breakfast was delicious, it was hot, freshly made and had everything you could want. The tea was lovely, fresh pot with two cup fulls was perfect. The kids loved the endless orange juice and toast. The ladies who run it were just so lovely. The views from our room were beautiful, the kids liked to watch the train go past in the distance!

The only thing I could say would be a fridge in the room would have been great when travelling with a family lots of snacks need to be refrigerated so we had to travel with a little fridge.

Breakfast was lovely. Debbie & Denise, the hosts, were so friendly and helpful, it was like staying with friends. Nothing was any trouble for them. Facilities are brilliant. So nice to have a lounge area to sit in, rather than having to sit in your room. Lounge also has a large TV. Also had a cellar bar which was great, even though we only used it once. Decor is bright and fresh. Lovely outside space as well. Location good as able to walk into town along the sea front.

High quality breakfast with great choice of menu. All extremely well presented at the table. The Sandpiper Guest House is totally immaculate throughout and a class act to follow. Highly recommendable.

The room could have been slightly warmer overnight for my liking but not a problem.

The hosts were amazing, the ladies were wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant.Room was nice and spacious,very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was amazing,hot and with a big variety of choices.Location perfect,lots of cafes,bars and restaurants around.And of course views amazing,walk around coastal just perfect to fill the day.

The owners were exceptional, the room was very comfortable, and the location was perfect apart from the hill, up to the accommodation. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

The room could do with a little refrigerator in it. Other than that, it was a great experience.
