Great location in a quiet and upmarket neighbourhood. The property is beautiful and looks recently renovated. The gardens are stunning and the decor really tasteful. My room was nice and spacious and had everything I needed for my stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in - I’d love to know the brand so I can get myself one of these beds! I loved that there was a small gym room (with a treadmill and some weights). Service was friendly and efficient, we were greeted as we drove into the property. Highly recommend staying here.

The only minor point is that the blinds/shutter at the door to my room doesn’t fully close as it’s blocked at the bottom by the skirting board (room 4). Thus there was a sliver of light shining into my room from the garden light outside. This didn’t bother me too much as I was tired and slept through it, but will keep light sleepers awake.

It is a really beautiful Dutch Capestyle house, the garden! Well maintained. The rooms not overly spacious but very tastefull, the bathroom relatively bigg and also very tasteful. Located In a quiet neighborhood, restaurants/shops maybe not even a 5 min drive away. We came back after staying there also last year. We don’t know about the breakfast since we had to leave for the airport very early.

The mattress is to our liking quite hard, but definitely to short. I am 188 cm.

Upon reaching the venue it was like having left the city and entered an upmarket bush lodge. The garden is beautiful and immaculately kept. The room far exceeds expectations with all the latest appliances and gadgets. Cleanliness leaps out. A sparkling pool in the courtyard keeps the bush-like atmosphere with the the birds and water sounds. Inside the room EVERYTHING works. Expensive fittings and frames ensure absolute peace and quiet. I'm giving a first time 10 out of 10!

I'm struggling to find anything I didn't like.

Can't stop thinking about this place. Very clean and beautiful,friendly staff. Renalda made us feel at home even assisted with taking us to nearby restaurants. I am very pleased with this place. It deserves 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Situated in very tranquil location. Our room was so beautiful and the bathroom.I can go on and on about the beauty of Cape village lodge I loved everything. Heaven on earth it is👌👌👌👌 My daughter was very happy she exercised on the touch screen treadmill with netflix and other media apps. We had a very pleasant stay😍

One missing star besides the name Cape village Lodge.

I loved everything about my stay. The decor was really awesome, I loved the nice big bedside cupboards next to the bed. Super comfy bed.. Everything was perfect. Breakfast was delicious, well prepared and presented. The staff are super friendly and helpful. All toiletries are provided even a shower cap. Super clean.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like. I was happy with everything.

We had a beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable room with a private patio and view of the stunning garden. Every last detail in the room had been thought of and finished to the highest standard, including the dimmable lighting, quality soft furnishings and oak and stone finishes. We were very impressed. The bed was comfortable and the bedding luxurious. In load shedding times, the solar power was much appreciated too. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a truly relaxing stay and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We cannot recommend Cape Village Lodge highly enough and hope to go back again in the future.

The only thing that we missed was stronger coffee and plain yoghurt at breakfast, but those are very minor points in the context of an otherwise perfect experience.

Absolutely incredible. The room was perfect, and the bathroom in particular was immaculate. The hidden lighting was perfect to set the mood! The huge bathtub and shower were fantastic!

You know a place has been impeccable when your only complaint is that the coffee was not amazing. Honestly we were blown away at how fantastic a place it was.

Beautiful accommodation in a fantastic location. Small number of rooms which make this an ideal location for a family group. Gardens were beautifully kept and plenty of areas for sitting and relaxing as well as a swimming pool. A gym was also available for those keen on fitness. Plenty of places to eat and drink in close proximity of the lodge.

We've stayed in a few hotels and guesthouses before but Cape Village Lodge was by far the best we've been to in a very long time. Everything was ABSOLUTELY more than perfect. Will definitely be back very soon!!

We really enjoyed everything, the modern interiors and spacious rooms. Pleasantly surprised with underfloor heating as well as wall sockets that included USB A and C ports. And also a small gym with some weights and a treadmill. We would certainly return if we are in the area again.
