It is a great hotel with great facilities and friendly, helpful and competent staff. It was perfect for our requirements. Breakfast is superb with a wide variety (amazing local fruit) and eggs cooked according to your personal requirements to perfection. They arranged shuttle buses and accommodated a late check-out. When I arrived and realised that my safe wasn't working, maintenance fixed it within half an hour of my arrival. They also installed a fridge immediately as there was one missing. The location was perfect for me as it was close to my family, and is quiet and in the winelands but it is about 30 minutes from the city centre and Wayerfront. But easy and cheap to get an Uber. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and I would have no hesitation to recommend it.

We stayed here as an extended family group and had 4 rooms with kitchenettes altogether. The kichenettes are not fully kitted out (e.g. no crockery) and some have fridges, others had a microwave, some had asmall cooking ring etc. It was very random and inconsistent as to which room had which facilities. Having said that, it is not self-catering and all you really need is a fridge and it is nice to have a sink. There is a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities in every room.

The staff were truly incredible and could easily be on a five star level, not one member walked past and didn’t greet us or asked us if we needed something. Nothing was ever too much of a problem with any of our requests in the 24 hours we spent at the hotel and coming from a hospitality industry this is saying something. The restaurant staff went out of their way at dinner and breakfast and the food was just as delicious and so well priced. We were amazed at the amount of lovely locals enjoying the restaurant specials and made for a warm and cosy atmosphere which we didn’t expect. The property is so well maintained and for the price point including breakfast is really great. We stayed in a standard king room and the size of the room was extremely spacious, although the shower was not made for extra plus size guests. Overall this way exceeded our stay in the short time we were there, and although I am sure it’s predominantly a business oriented hotel we didn’t feel as such with the warmth and character of the staff, so thank you very much.

The baths and basins drains were not as clean as the rest of room, but truly the only thing we can fault as the rooms and bathrooms are so clean. As for other guests smoking in their rooms which then overflows into the passageway isn’t great, but I do know we have experienced this at many hotels unfortunately and is not the properties fault. Lastly some rooms are on the parking area so be sure to check your room location.

Although the room was furnished also as a kitchen, there was no plates, extra mugs etc.. My booking mentioned a kitchen. Some of the bathroom towels was old and tattered. The steps up to the lounge and pool area could only be reached by steep steps. I have a bad back and I was hesitant to use the stairs. The private function and dining was a disappointment. The meat was extremely tough. No dessert and coffee after dinner we had to purchase. We paid a pretty penny for a dinner.

Everything was very comfortable and all the staff were so kind and welcoming. My son (6) and I had the most enjoyable stay, and the staff were so accommodating and patient with my little boy in ways that went above and beyond what I could have asked for. For example, being willing to make him something from the lunch menu for dinner. They referred to him by name and made him feel like a person, and that really meant a lot to us both. They were also willing to listen to his stories when he chatted to them instead of brushing him off. They were truly kind. Every single member of staff we came across - down to the security guard who ensured my little boy that we would be safe. This is a very special hotel run by special people with big hearts.

N/A. Not really something, but a double point plug in the room would be appreciated for those of us dumb enough to forget ours.

The apartment assigned to me was a haven of modern elegance, meticulously designed and furnished. It was only in the morning light that I fully grasped the grandeur and spaciousness of this unexpected upgrade. The bed, a cloud of comfort, embraced me in its plush duvet and pillows. The breakfast, a symphony of flavors, was a delightful start to the day, worthy of a renowned hotel chain.

The loft room is super spacious and feels like home. It's a beautiful hotel with a wine estate decor feel

When you book and prepray via Booking.com you can't put food and bev on your room number, which they don't tell you upfront so you can't leave your wallet in the safe and have to carry it with you and pay as you go

We enjoyed the smaller scale breakfast compared to a large hotel. Excellent breakfast, catering for all choices. Nice selection of dinner and lunch menus.We invited family members around for a lovely lunch next to the pool & the staff were very accommodating and helpful in organising tables etc. It was also great to have on site fenced parking with secuity guard at the drive in entrance. I, particularly liked the fact, that I did not have to use a lift.

There was nothing we did not enjoy and will definately stay at this hotel again !

- very steep staircase in the loft room. Didn’t use the upstairs bedroom/bathroom because of it. - kitchen was equipped with crockery and cutlery but no glassware. Only cups for tea/coffee. Luckily asked about it at check-in. - metal blinds everywhere - no blockout curtains.

Lovely hotel with beautiful decor and finishing touches. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, with a wide variety to choose from and the restaurant staff were amazing, always ready to offer another coffee or bring us some more bread. We enjoyed the pool and sunbeds, such a nice way to relax after a hot day out.
