Fabulous hotel overlooking the beach. On arrival we had booked secure parking and someone came to help us, when the room was ready they had taken our luggage to our room. The room was on the first floor, spacious, bright, great shower with Phytomer products in the bathroom. Fresh clean bedding and fluffy towels. Loved the Terrace for drinks and food. They also have a small ice cream parlour at the front. Although fully booked for dinner they squeezed us in. Breakfast was mainly continental but with some bacon and scrambled eggs available. Great location and a lovely 30-40 min walk into the walled city. But the main thing was the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. Would go back.
It was hot when we were there. A fan or air con would have been a plus.

We got the sea view room and that in itself, was great. Was lovely to wake up to waves crashing and waking up to the sun. What I loved most was the friendly staff though, and they have this amazing artisanal Salted Caramel jar at breakfast from Dame Cerise, and they helped me out by giving me the name of the boutique that sells these (these are way better than the ones sold at the tourist spot Kouign Amann). Unfortunately, the boutique closed early on the day I received the information and after going all around town and not being able to find something similar to Dame Cerise, I returned to the hotel and was about to beg the hotel to sell me them. I didn't even have to beg, the GM was kind enough to sell me the jars and also offered a discount. He was so lovely. It really made my stay in the city of Saint-Malo so much better. It's a small thing, but I will never forget the kindness.
I didn't like that the toilets were separated from the shower, but I now understand that its a French thing. But because the toilet is quite small, it would be nice if there was some sort of scent freshener.

We arrived at 2:30pm, a little early but the staff were amazing and our room was ready really quickly. We had an exceptionally good dinner followed by the most comfortable night sleep. We left at 5:00am to catch the ferry home. The night porter gave us warm croissants to take with us, Yumm ! Special thank you to Bastien and Bastiste for being so professional and kind ! We will definitely return for a longer stay.
Nothing.

We stayed overnight before catching the morning ferry to Portsmouth. We had a sea view room which was comfortable and well appointed. The staff were attentive and the check-in and check-out was easy. We enjoyed the breakfast which had plenty of choice and all very fresh. We pre-booked a parking slot which we found useful as it kept our car off the street.
We would have liked to have eaten in to take advantage of the views from the restaurant however there wasn't a vegetarian option that we could see on the menu.

The hotel is close to the ocean, and at about 20 min walk from the old center. We found parking on the street just next to the hotel. We did not take the breakfast in the hotel.
The room was quite small and dark. It room was at ground floor, not in the main building of the hotel. The entrance to the room was directly from the outside, and the windows were in fact the lateral sides of the entrance door (to the floor, if I remember well). The other guests from the same building pass by your door and windows to get to their rooms, so you have to choose between having natural light or privacy (opening or closing the curtains). But it was fine for a short stay.

Perfect position step away from the beach and beautiful breakfast area with sea view. Breakfast is excellent. The room was quiet and comfortable. Staff was very friendly.
The room was small. Before going I completed a questionnaire with all my preferences and things that I would have liked to find in the room (toothbrush kit, razor kit…). I didn’t find anything in the room. Would have been a good touch. I found the rent of bikes too expensive for rusty bikes with sticky handles. (12€ half day) In that state, they should really be free… The city center is 30mins walk (we were told 15mins upon arrival)

The lhotel location and social/dining areas The efficiency of the staff and especially the hotel and restaurant directors.
1) The floor inside the shower is very slippery when wet and requires an anti slip mat. 2) the room was very hot. No air conditioning sltough there is a heater. An electric fan, at least will help. 3) Parking is a ptoblem with only 4 hotel psrking places available.

Best location in St Malo leading right on the the seafront. Parking on site, restaurant overlooking the ocean. Great selection for breakfast I couldn’t fault it.
One comment would be the bedroom was small but comfortable. But the restaurant has ideas above their station. Evening meals around €50/60 and not a single customer.

Lovely location right by the sea front. Attentive staff. Very clean.
Room was very small. Car park only held 4 cars so had to park in road nearby. Deliveries were made very early in the morning and trolley pushed past our room noisily while we were still trying to sleep. Cappuccino at breakfast tasted more like hot chocolate. Apparently this was how it was meant to be! Service at dinner was very slow and the main courses were overpriced for what they were!

Fabulous location, superb restaurant and delightful staff. While the room available wasn’t great, we have rebooked for another stay with a room at the front of the hotel with the fabulous beach view.
We stayed in a ground floor, courtyard facing room. It had only two narrow windows at the front and was, as a result, rather dark and without charm. In order to have any privacy, as the window and room door opened directly onto the walkway to the hotel, we had to have the blinds down or curtains closed. This also made the room rather stuffy as there was no air conditioning or other windows to open. We also recommend booking a parking space, well in advance, as they only have four spaces in the hotel courtyard.
