- The hostel is located in front of the the sea, inside the fjord: you can see a spectacular view in front of it, connecting with the green and blue in peace of mind; one of the best view i've ever seen!! - Towel is included in price, there is lot of space to park the car and there is a good breakfast for only 6 pounds (tea and coffe are free). - Rooms and beds are almost new and the share living room is very beautiful, with the view of the fjord: you can write a memory in a book too. - Every bed has his own little space to charge phone with usb attach too and a little light! - Kindness of the boy that manages the hostel!! - Skye island isn't so far

- I'm very tall (2m) and beds are minor with the panel at the bottom, so it isn't so confortable....but for a person until 1.90m is perfect. - No lockers, but you don't need it.

The location of this youth hostel is stunning. It is surrounded by gorgeous mountains on every side. A walker's dream! You can sit in the window of the comfy sitting room and watch the clouds roll over the hill tops. The view is constantly changing, unless you are there when the sky is completely blue. It is right on the loch, and when you go to sleep at night, from the family room you can hear the little burn. The garden is beautifully kept, with sweet peas, a bright blue hydrangea and bird feeders, plus benches and a table to sit at. You are not far from the Isle of Skye but the local area is so lovely that you may find yourself spending more time near the youth hostel than on Skye!

The location was very idyllic and not far from my route. People were nice and breakfest was okay. Dorm was spacious and clean. Bed was nice and it had reading light and handly power outlet. There was empty beds in my dorm, which made the night very peaceful.

The wifi worked only one lounge room, not at the dorms. The soundproofing could be better. I recommend ear plugs.

Lovely place in the middle of nature, far from the crowds! We stayed in female only doorm. Beds were comfy and clean. Lovely staff, great kitchen. Easy, safe parking. Amazing views!

Shower only had freezing cold water, that is a huge minus!! Not sure if this was just a temporary problem, though. The wifi was really slow but that is hardly a minus, it was good to keep the phone away and enjoy the nature. Just something you might need to take into account.

The location has astonishing views, very beautiful, calm, peaceful just in front of the lake. Everything was extremely clean and well mantained, the rooms, the bathrooms and the community kitchen & living room. The staff was excellent warm and friendly, explaining and recommeding routes and places to visit, to have dinner or whatever you may need. I highly recommend this hostel for many reasons location, wonderful staff, shared areas, level of cleaning and views.

Nothing, everything was great. Even that the family rooms were fully booked and we had to stay in a shared room, we were surprised on how fine we've been there.

Location is incredible. We really enjoyed waking up and finding dolphins swimming in front of the hostel

Room smelled a bit. We were given as a 4 person family an 8 bed bedroom...so if you want to book here book directly with the hostel not booking. Only one shower and one toilet on the first floor for women

My first ever stay at a hostel. We were lucky that we had the whole room to ourselves. We were a familybof three adults. The shared bathroom was a new experience but the bathroom was good. Loved the location. Next time I would love to stay longer just to soak in the vibe.

We had carried food with us so I did not explore how one was to acquire the same, if there were any outlets to buy ingredients and food from.

Services were clearly presented and gained, the kitchen was clear and organized, a separate room was provided to chill after dinner, and apart from this, the RYH is located in a great position, directly by the sea/lake, perfect for enjoying it. Amazing and cheap place, highly recommend!

Due to the early sunrise, breakfast should be served at 7:00 instead of 8:00.

I believe the staff members name was Duncan. He was so kind, friendly & accommodating. The views from the hostile were amazing.

An extra bathroom would’ve been great, but I understand it’s an older property.

The house is perfectly located on the shores of Loch Duich. The rooms are clean and the beds are cozy. Further the lounge. Thanks to Stuart and his staffs. Keep on going and have a nice season.
