Such a beautiful cosy hotel in the middle of nowhere. Very smooth check in, comfortable beds and bathrooms had all the necessities. Due to the hotel not offering dinner on the location, they offered us to book a dinner at their sister hotel - Duisdale hotel. We accepted as we knew that the hotel is in a remote area with not much around, and we’re so glad we did! The driver came to pick us up from our hotel to take us there. The food was amazing, service was very very good, and we felt bad that we were only dining there just once. Driver took us back to our hotel as soon as we finished eating. We had breakfast at Toravaig the next day, and this didn’t disappoint either, we had the most delicious breakfast.

The hotel interior is modern looking, beautifully and tastefully decorated. The staff were knowledgable, welcoming and extremely helpful. The young man on reception was lovely and carried our bags up to our room. Our room was absolutely gorgeous! Stunning decor which was carefully put together and matched throughout the room. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, the bathroom modern and stylish and the complementary Temple Spa products, dressing gowns and slippers a lovely touch. The young lady who served us breakfast couldn’t do enough to make our meal a very pleasant and relaxed one. I requested gluten free options so she spoke to the chef and came back with a list to choose from. She was pleasant, polite and extremely helpful

Nothing!!

We were diverted to the sister hotel Duisdale for our stay given Toravaig was undergoing maintenance. Good communication and excellent service on reception. The Duisdale was lovely, food was excellent, and staff attentive. I’d recommend it without hesitation for a bit of comfort.

Given so much positive attention to detail elsewhere, the bar is tiny and beer/ale choice incredibly limited. Could do with some zero alcohol beer options too. But overall this didn’t detract from what was a great experience overall.

A very pretty and comfortable hotel. Our room and bathroom were quite small but well equipped. Very comfy bed and pillows! All of the staff were excellent and could not do enough for us. Breakfast was excellent with a good menu choice. One night we ate at their sister hotel, the Duisdale, because the restaurant was closed at Toravig. Excellent food!

We had not realised that the restaurant was still closed because it was still a little early in the season. There was a shuttle provided up to their sister hotel's restaurant but you need to pre-book, there was no space for us for the first two nights.

I had initially booked into Toravaig, but due to maintenance there I was reallocated a room at Duisdale House Hotel (there sister hotel). The room and the service were exceptional! I left without taking my coat, having accidentally left it in the wardrobe - there was one member of the Reception Team who I liaised with to arrange it's return to me. I felt they really went above and beyond to do so and I was very grateful. Based on my experience I would be very confident recommending both hotels..

Breakfast was fine, surroundings very nice

Bathing in the bath was dangerous, accident could happen easily, no grab rails available, slippage was highly possible with no means of supporting oneself. Had to get assistance to get out of the bath. This was drawn to the attention of the duty person before leaving.hotel currently runs risk of legal action if not addressed. Was surprised that no hotel inspection did not reveal this probability of legal action being taken if accident arose due to no support grab rail being provided.

The location was fantastic, and the staff were really helpful. Great value for off-season prices.Sea view room was great.

The rooms were not serviced daily, and although we were notified about evening meals only being available at a sister hotel, the dry menu was not available due to ordering difficulties. I think both issues were due to the hotel preparing for the new season.

Very cute and clean place. We liked that while they only served breakfast, they had on offer a cheese board option in case you got hungry at night! The room provided slippers which was a nice addition compared to other places we stayed in Scotland. Rooms were small but comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was excellent!

Just a few small things - location is a little remote but worked for us as we had a car and allowed us a quick entry and exit from skye, the bathtub May be difficult for elderly guests to use, would have liked charging points in room for international travelers.

The staff were absolutely incredible and the most lovely people. The amenities were very impressive. We were asked for request before arrival for food preferences which we received, and I requested a room with a bath if possible which we were very grateful for. the complimentary taxi to and from a neighbouring restaurant was above and beyond what we expected and definitely enhanced the experience of being thoroughly well looked after. local gins and whiskeys available in the bar downstairs was a very nice touch. all in all, we’d definitely come back for a stay again :)

Great service and the Inn was very clean. Breakfast was exceptional. Good location if you are departing by ferry next day. Sister hotel restaurant very good. Shuttle service was a plus.

While I’m sure other rooms were better strongly recommended you Not stay in Room #1. It’s a top of stairs and above front entrance door and reception. Also the bed is too low and needs a new mattress.
