Nearly everything! Beautiful food and very good mattresses. Staff were few but those holding the fort were fantastic. Despite being extremely busy they kept their smile and were very professional. I was a bit concerned about the busy road but actually at night we didn't hear any noise!!

Can I just suggest a little anti slip bath mat as the bathtub is extremely slippery. And see if the glass door in the bathtub can be installed differently to allow the water to stay inside the bathtub. You have probably already tried this but then something else should be looked at to avoid flooding the bathroom floor. 👍 😊

Twin room was clean, comfortable and decor fresh. Bathroom had shower into bath with quite a high step in but was straightforward to use and the towels were lovely and thick; also provided was handwash and shower gel. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful and offered assistance with bags if required as only stairs in two storey Inn. Breakfast was included in our stay - I requested skimmed milk and this was bought in for me. You could have as much or as little as you liked, eg, juice, cereals, fruit, a variety of cooked options, tea or coffee which we enjoyed and set us up for the day. We did have dinner on a couple of evenings and found the meals to be fresh (local fish), filling and tasty.

Apart from the edges of the sink in the bathroom there was nowhere to put one's own toiletries or surface to place medications, lotions, etc but we solved this by using a small coffee table from the main room. The room itself had single beds at right angles and a rail across the top of one bed for hanging clothes, ie, no wardrobe or chest of drawers, so suspect this room would be more suitable for children and young people - something we would check before we book in future. Two pillows provided but could not get a comfortable position from any combination but realise that pillow preference is quite a personal thing and impossible to suit everyone.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lochailort Inn during my trip to Scotland, and I can't recommend this place highly enough. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Every corner of the room and common areas was spotless, which made my stay incredibly comfortable. The food at Lochailort Inn was a delightful highlight of my visit. The meals served at the bar were outstanding—delicious, well-prepared, and satisfying. The breakfast, included in the price, was equally impressive. It featured very fresh and locally sourced produce, making for a wholesome and tasty start to the day. Overall, my experience at Lochailort Inn was exceptional. The attention to detail, quality of service, and outstanding food made my stay memorable. I highly recommend Lochailort Inn to anyone looking for a remarkable place to stay in Scotland.

Nothing- everything was perfect

The breakfast was very good and the hotel was perfectly adequate. Nothing wrong with it, but perhaps a little pricey for what it was, which was fairly ordinary. Could have done with a surface for toiletries in the bathroom. But the outstanding thing was the dinner - the fish was unbelievably fresh and immaculately cooked and my partner was in heaven over the venison burger!

The bathroom could've been a bit ewasier to use (shelves/working surfaces?) and it was nearly impossible to get rid of the very bright standby light on the TV.

Friendly and efficient staff - quick and pleasant service. Taken to room and bag was carried which was much appreciated. Total lack of instructional notices (apart from fire safety) in the room Food was particularly good - a decent menu with reasonable choice but very well cooked and presented.

Room was functional - very clean, with everything you need but would be benefit from a dressing table or similar near a socket.

Good location for me, travelling between Mallaig and Fort William. Was welcomed by the owner. Great room with good view and spacious. Very clean and comfortable. Freesat TV meant reception was good. Breakfast was good. There wasn't dedicated bicycle parking but there was a secure fire-escape that you could lock one or two bikes to and was partially under cover. I was able to leave some bags after checkout and pick them up later to save me carrying them all day.

Water pressure in shower wasn't great.

The old Inn was renovated beautifully and the beds very comfortable. The food was excellent starting from the made to order breakfast dishes (inkl. Homemade granola and sourdough toast, poached eggs etc.). The staff was friendly as well. The Inn is next to the train and a bus station but otherwise remote.

Barry went over and above anyone I have met at any accommodation. He was kind, informative and very welcoming. It was great chatting with him and sharing stories together. He made this stay extra special and him and his family are amazing interesting people. Went over and above to make our experience what it was. Thank you Barry.

The staff were some of the most friendly, attentive, and welcoming people we met!! We stayed 2 nights, but if we could have spent the whole holiday there we would have. Cannot say enough positive things about the chef and her food, she pours her heart and soul into it and it is AMAZING. Highly, highly, highly recommend to anyone considering staying here to do it!!! You will not regret it.
