Fantastic location and view on the loch from the room : you may not want to sleep in order to keep looking at the loch ! To be noted, you may take a ferry to arrive depending on where you come from. Really nice walk on the beach right next to the Inn. The room was super confortable and the bathroom was huge. We went there for our honeymoon and I asked the staff to surprise my husband with a note in the room. The staff kindly prepared the note but also surprised us with nice decoration, red rose and chocolates. That was really nice and we could feel that the staff just wanted to please us and were happy to be a part of our journey. Thanks very much, it was lovely ! We sincerely hope to come back

-Wonderful owner/staff who will make you feel right at home, great atmosphere -Amazing location with a hard to beat view across the lake with mountains in the distance. -Excellent breakfast, dinner, bar with beers and great whisky selection Important to know: The Corran ferry is currently out of service, but if you come from Edinburgh/Glasgow, you can park the car for free on the east side of the lake right by the ferry station and take a short free passenger boat ride to cross the water. Thus, you can avoid driving all around the lake if you want to (it’s a beautiful drive though if you have the time). We were very glad we stayed at the Inn, we had a wonderful experience here and were sad to leave.

Such a warm family hotel, with an amazing staff and extraordinary location. The view on the loch is so peaceful and just a short ferry ride away from the other shore. There is a lounge room with a library, perfect for a drink, and there is even toys for kids. The food is very good and the prices reasonable. There is a coffee shop food truck right by the hotel perfect for a quick breakfast in the morning if in a rush. We stayed there for two nights, and even though it is not the fanciest hotel we have been to during our week in Scotland, it was our favourite by far, with a feel-at-home, authentic and family feeling that stayed with us. Our 3 year-old daughter also loved it and they were the sweetest to her. We definitely hope we will go back someday!

We had a fantastic stay at The Inn at Ardgour, which was perfect for our family of five. We usually find it difficult to find a room which can accomodate all 5 of us. The room was comfortable with a bunk bed for our younger children, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the location was ideal. Easily accessible to all the nearby areas we wanted to visit. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The ferry is very easy to use and a lot quicker than the map apps suggest, we crossed quickly in ten mins each time. A great place to relax and explore the Highlands! Highly recommend. Let me know if you’d like any tweaks!

The INN was in a great location, literally just off of the Corran Ferry. The Inn is dog friendly and there was no extra charge for our two little dogs. The room was large and spacious with a lovely view of the water from the window. The bathroom was very large with a walk in shower. Toiletries were provided which was a nice touch . The tea tray was excellent and we’ll stick and the little packet of Scottish shortbread a nice touch. There was a cosy lounge and the bar was good. Breakfast was fantastic and the choice was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The location was great and very relaxing. The views from the Inn are amazing; water and mountains on your doorstep. There is a lovely little lighthouse a few yards walk away. We travelled to Fort William and Mallaig for the day. The Inn was great value for money and we will definitely stay again!

This was a very quiet and charming Inn with a nice breakfast and good hotel bar food. The staff there are hard-working and very pleasant to talk to. They gave us great travel advice, and we slept well in the comfortable rooms. Don’t let the ferry ride dissuade you from staying. it was actually a very lovely area, away from the crowds of Fort Williams
The Wi-Fi was only available in the residence lounge, which was a very social area. However, when you’re trying to do trip planning and answer emails, it is very inconvenient I suppose for those guests who already have a UK Sim card, it won’t be a bother for them, but for us foreigners, it made it a bit inconvenient.

Really loved arriving by ferry, staff were very friendly and this is our 2nd visit back. Food was fabulous and fresh - very hot lasagne. Room was clean and tidy but very expensive for a small room with a 'makeshift wardrobe'. Had lots of selections of teas and coffees in the room and great to have a residential lounge area so when the bar closes you don't have to go back to your room. Breakfast was lovely and fresh with lots of choice and was great to sit at the window looking out over the loch
Price was a little steep for the room we had, would of liked to of seen a few more vegetation options on the evening menu as this was very limited

The Inn is beside the Corran ferry so a very convenient stopping point for us travelling to Mull. We were on the ground floor (room2) which was a good size with a comfy bed and fluffy duvet. Excellent breakfast with a good choice. We also had an evening meal at the Inn which was good. Warning - the restaurant gets very busy so it's important to book when you book your room. There are no other restaurants nearby! Friendly and helpful staff. We stopped there again on our way home.
The only very slight drawback is the ferry starts at 6.30 in the morning. Nothing the hotel can do about this and it's not too noisy but it is right outside your window! Certainly didn't stop us returning.

The hotel is accessed by the Coran ferry from Fort William but do not let that put you off, its a short journey across Loch Linnhe. The hotel is a gem the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Our ground floor room had views across the loch, the beds were ok as was the shower. My husband had the full cooked breakfast that he really liked I was a little disappointed with the cold buffet, a better choice of cereal and pastries would have been nice. Our evening meal on both nights was really good and the service was excellent. I would certainly stay again the next time we visit the Highlands.
Just a better choice of cold breakfast.

1) Other than thanks to a small ferry, the inn is only accessible via a very long, very narrow road, which we drove upon and very much recommend doing so. It's soooo pretty. The inn finally appeared as a welcome respite and was well worth the drive under torrential rain. 2) Before we got there, we stopped at the micro brewery a few yards away from the inn to enjoy some much welcomed local ales. 3) Our receptionist was very friendly and helpful, and managed to find us tables at the hotel's restaurant despite the inn being full that night. 4) The food was lovely, in particular the venison casserole and the fish pie. 5) Our own room was very large, warm and the bed comfy. My brother's room was much smaller but there wasn't anything to complain about it.
Internet access is only provided in the lounge, not in the bedrooms.
