Good breakfast. Good selection. The rooms with buck beds for the kids were good. The location of the hotel was good with nice views over the loch and mountains. There is 22Kw electric charging points. Big carpark. And a Co-Op supermarket close by.

I didn’t like that we needed to book a time for breakfast at check in. We were going out early the next morning and they had a wedding party all booked in for 8. So we had to come at 7:45. By the time we finished at 8:45 there was still half the tables empty. It was the same the next 2 days. We couldn’t book in for dinner at the hotel our first night till 8pm. But when we we went out for dinner and in the bar the restaurant at 7 it was half empty with lots of empty tables. The springs were coming through on the mattress and noisy corridors, I kept on getting woken up by someone walking the corridors and 3 and 4 in the morning.

This was the best stay we had during our honeymoon trip to Scotland. Right from the start, we were surprised with a thoughtful and sweet gesture: a beautifully arranged wooden board with sweets waiting for us in our room, which we truly savoured and appreciated. A big shout-out to the amazing Brazilian staff – Caio, Lucas, Marcelo, Peterson, and Millane – who made our experience even more special with their great recommendations and the warm Brazilian hospitality we love. The hotel itself is excellent – very clean, with parking, comfortable rooms, impeccable service, and amazing food. The view is a real highlight: a stunning landscape of the Highlands mountains, including Ben Nevis, right on the edge of the loch.

They could consider investing in is an elevator. While the part of the hotel that we stayed only had two floors and this wasn’t an issue for us, it could be a concern for guests with limited mobility. Also, while we don’t mind getting a little rain – let’s face it, it’s Scotland – one thing I think everyone would benefit from is a cover for the parking.

The whole hotel from the check in/ management experience to the food/ wine and room were very good! Doesnt hurt that this hotel probably has one of the best location/ views of natural landscape beauty in the world. Our 4 year old daughter got car sick on the mountain roads and the hotel staff were so amazing to help us in everything we needed to clean up the car seat. Things you dont think about when reserving a hotel but this one will go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable in your stay! WILL BE BACK.

No AC so the warm day was making for uncomfortable sleep.

I accidentally booked the wrong nights originally, and they kindly changed my booking without a problem and no charge - that service orientation was continued during our stay. The staff is amazing, made us feel right at home, and the room was really big with a lovely view. We loved staying here in the hotel - everything was very clean, including the pool area. The parking lot is very convenient and the hotel is close to all the sights. The breakfast was a true experience, a very large buffet with so many options both continental and hot to choose from. The food was high quality, and coffee / tea options were really nice (love that you get a full pot, not just a cuppa). The views from the breakfast room are a nice bonus.

We didn't love the food options available in the restaurant and only ate there once. The dinner was okay, but we were hoping for more local fish options, and they just weren't on the menu. So we opted for a different restaurant the other night, of which there are several ones nearby.

The hotel is charming and comfortable, with excellent views of the surrounding mountains and loch. My room was clean and cozy and both the room and en-suite bath appeared to have been fairly recently updated. The hotel is also conveniently located a short walk - or an even shorter drive - from a small grocery store, cafe, gift shop, and several restaurants.

The restaurant left something to be desired. Service was slow and the food was mediocre for the price. Some of the common spaces are showing their age, but honestly I thought that added to the charm of the place.

Staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived at hotel early, they kept us informed of when we could get into our room. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay and this makes your stay more enjoyable. Hotel lounge and restaurant area was nice and clean with plenty of seats to sit back and enjoy the view while relaxing. Our room had a Loch side view and was lovely and clean, it was a large room with a good-sized bathroom. We never used the pool, but it was busy most of the time which was great to see. The breakfast was exceptionally good with a varied supply for all tastes and again staff were on hand to help you enjoy the meal time.

Evening meals were quite pricey and there was a limited choice of mains on the menu, I started with Scallops, and they were £15 a portion and when it arrived at my table it had three scallops on the plate!! We had fish and chips for mains which came in at £19 each portion so if you are going with family its expensive to eat in at the hotel. The heating is controlled by smart switches, and we found our room cold sometimes so had to use the boost a lot to keep the room temperature reasonable.

It was a bit of a splurge for us but so well worth it. The location right in the loch was breathtaking. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a view of the loch. The breakfast was fabulous with many hot choices. We really enjoyed the pool after a day of hiking. We had great dinners each evening in the restaurant. It was so nice not having to leave the hotel to go out for a meal. The staff was warm and friendly and very accommodating. Our stay was very memorable.

More chairs on the lawn in addition to the picnic tables would be great

The hotel is set in a great location. All areas are clean. Sauna is a great size. Staff all friendly and helpful. Having breakfast in the conservatory area was a delight, due to being lucky enough to watch an eagle come and go. With beautiful surroundings next to the water and hills makes for a lovely tranquil getaway. I used to come here on/off for years just to use the leisure club with my son when staying close by during ski season, but this was my first time staying at this property. Didn’t disappoint.

The bed was a bit on the hard side for me personally, which made for a poor sleep and felt a few little hard bits poking into me. The breakfast although tasty enough and good selection, wasn’t hot enough as it seemed as if enough had been made for all guest and left out instead of done in parts to keep it hot and fresher. The heat lights couldn’t keep it warm enough. Especially putting onto cold plates. A couple of the puddings in the evening meal were also a bit of a let down but the rest of the food was tasty.

Location was fantastic with a beautiful view from our room and from the breakfast table. The staff were friendly although one young female member was told off rather loudly when she incorrectly set up a table for the next guests. Embarrassing not only for her and should not happen in front of guests.

The food at breakfast was a buffet and there was plenty of choice and it was well presented. Unfortunately some of the items were reheated such as the potato scones and became too hard to even cut with a knife.

The location is amazing and the room was nice for a family of 4. The bunk beds were a plus for the kids. The bar and seating areas have an amazing view.

The bar was small with a limited selection of whisky. Service at the bar was slow most of the time. The attached restaurant has a beautiful glass room overlooking the loch but the food was terrible and very expensive. I simply had the worst steak I have ever tried to eat for £50.
