The Pierhouse hotel definitely has the wow factor. The position and views are simply stunning. Our room was clean, comfortable and warm. Everything in the room and indeed the hotel seems of the highest quality. The snug area is a wonderful place to sit beside the fire, enjoy the view and enjoy a delicious drink. The food stands out as some of the best we have ever had, with incredible attention to detail in terms of quality, flavour and combinations.
Leaving this little gem was difficult!

The staff, location and food was very good.
When we entered the room we saw that there was a large stain( about the size of a dinner plate)on the carpet. It made the room feel shabby . Considering we paid a lot of money for one night, it somewhat spoiled our experience.

The situation was amazing . The food was good and the staff very friendly.
Although we were in a nice room, for the amount we paid I would have expected more, I would have liked more info on what to do and see and even the ferry times would have been useful.

The presentation of the room and the view. The overall peacefulness of the hotel and the various rooms where you could have a drink. Loved that there were apples in the room and hot chocolate sachets. Bed was very comfortable
I ordered 1/2 lobster and there were 2 claws and the body which only a third of it was filled with lobster (about 1 mouthful of lobster). Very poor value for money for the lobster only Everything else surpassed my expectations and i will definitely book again

Breakfast choice although limited was excellent. Quality ingredients and well cooked. View over sea to Lismore Island while enjoying breakfast was beautiful.
Bathroom could have been more luxurious and the shower temperature fluctuated wildly in temperature.

Excellent restaurant and food. Great bathroom soaps/shampoo (highland soap company). Really comfy bed.
For the price you pay- you should get ground coffee/higher quality coffee inthe room. Food and drinks are expensive.

The food is wonderful with plenty of variety and a meal with wine doesn't have to break the bank. The staff are all really helpful. The location is great with regular ferries to Lismore where you can walk or hire a bike for the day.
The cheese portion was enormous....I don't know why they didn't give a smaller portion of two cheeses.
