We had a very enjoyable stay in a lovely setting. It’s the kind of place where you’d love to stay longer. The restaurant serves excellent, regional dishes.

We had no negative experiences.

From arrival at the most beautiful of scenic spots, we were truly cossetted by Ethan. The hotel grounds meander down to Loch Linnhe and basking in the April sunshine were able to show off their finery. Choices for walking include a stroll from the bottom of the garden near the putting shed along the beach to the lighthouse then Castle Stalker or perhaps to the rear of the hotel an estuary circular walk bringing you out at the pier head ferry crossing a delightful walk through ancient woodlands and a bird watchers paradise! Our room, for just one night, was lovely and comfy with tea and coffee making facilities. The shower was great. I think there are rooms with views across the loch also, which would have elevated the experience even more. Maybe next time.... The public rooms downstairs were so lovely with local artists' work displayed for purchase, and our dining experience was just the best due to Ethan and Jason "Team Aird," for sure. What a double act and an absolute credit to the management. They flowed in and out of each dining moment with grace and that element of Irish humour that just relaxed their transient guests enough to gel the whole visitor experience for us all. Very cohesive! To the point where you could feel like a long-lost friend. A magical combination. Sergio, the resident chef, offers sustainable choices and handcrafted sauces that elevated the best of Scottish fayre to superb cuisine presented picture perfect.. My partners haddock was delicately transformed to melt in the mouth genius..Breakfast eggs florentine were the best I've ever tasted. We just loved our window seat. Truly, a window on the world! We thank all the team at Airds for looking after us so well and making our wee trip there such an unforgettable joy.

Staff and management were very friendly, attentive and chatty; dinner was very good-breakfast was also very good; comfortable beds; good view from rooms at the front of hotel; easy walking distance to Lismore ferry terminal

Nothing that could spoil our holiday or enjoyment of our stay. The external of the building in need of refurbishment; entrance and front of hotel is a bit discouraging on first arrival-but reception by staff made up for it; no draught beer; no opaque glass in bathroom which meant keeping the curtains closed when showering etc

The location and comfort of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good choice of food, well cooked and good presentation. Stayed for 2 nights - 21st-23rd April

The length of time it took to have breakfast on our last morning. The front of house staff (one only) was run off her feet. The kitchen staff must have also been short-handed as it took a long time to receive any cooked food. When checking out 15 mins later, I was surprised to see management sitting at reception. The management on duty has to step up and help. Shame on you.

This is a lovely little building out the back of the inn. It was spacious and well appointed. There is a washer/dryer combo and full kitchen. The rooms were very comfortable and the views are lovely. Port Appin is quite out of the way, but it's worth the drive. Such a pretty and lovely little place!

Dinner in the restaurant is pretty pricey, but also tasty. Just be prepared for the cost. We did not bring groceries (our fault!) so the inn was our only choice. Certainly not a complaint - just be aware. :)

The cottage was very cozy! It has almost everything we needed (no coffee maker of any kind, although it has coffee in one of the cupboards), we could park very close and the surroundings were very pretty. Big spacious kitchen and living room. Very beautiful bathroom.

The beds were too springy for us, but these are just preferences. Despite having a thermostat, the cottage was a bit cold in the morning. We did not inform the staff because we only stayed for one night, I'm sure they'd help us if we asked. One of us took a bath, one showered, and the next person did not have enough warm water to finish the shower because the hot water ran out, something you should keep in mind.

My sister & I were away for a relaxing couple of days and after a bad experience elsewhere we found The Airds Hotel & we loved it. From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful & professional. They were lovely and made the trip realaxing & enjoyable. The views were stunning & our room was very comfortable and had everything needed & more. We will definitely return & highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit this area.

There was nothing we didn't like about this place.

The hotel itself is small but comfortable, and is being slowly renovated. The bedrooms are lovely with large bathrooms and beautiful views of the water. The real treat was dinner! The food was outstanding - every dish was a winner and even though we ate a lot, we were still excited to come down for breakfast the next morning (we did get a walk in first to make sure that we were hungry). The staff were helpful and friendly.

The bar was not too well stocked - but that was a minor quibble. The area is best used as a base to explore, with a car, rather than having a lot to do in the immediate surroundings.

We decided to get married at the Airds hotel due to it’s beautiful location and scenery. Our stay was perfect from start to finish. 12 of us stayed in total and we all had a fantastic weekend. All rooms are spacious and nicely refurbished. Rooms to the front of the hotel have a gorgeous view. The food is lovely and the staff are so attentive. Katie, Lee and Ross couldn’t have done any more for us. Thank you very much Team Airds.

Nothing it was fantastic

We stayed in the hotel bungalow (2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen/dining, living room house) on the hotel grounds. It was very well-appointed and very relaxing. Some TVs did not work, but overall it was great. There was a nice walk directly from the hotel around the headland to the Port and back (45-60 mins and flat).

We did not eat at the hotel, it was way too expensive (UK70 each for a 2-course dinner, UK20 breakfast). We found a great restaurant nearby called The Creagan Inn Whisky Bar & Kitchen. We ate there twice and the service, food, value, and view were excellent.
