Our stay at Ardno B&B was truly wonderful. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and offer beautiful views that make waking up a joy. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with great attention to detail and quality. What really set this place apart, however, were the hosts – warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, they made us feel at home from the very first moment. It’s clear that Ardno B&B is run with love and care, and that personal touch makes all the difference. The location is also excellent: Ardno is a great starting point for visiting Glencoe Valley (just 10 minutes by car) or exploring neighbouring towns such as Fort William (30 minutes) and Oban (around 1 hour). We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The location was beautiful and close to areas we wanted to visit. Upon entry, there was a light, pleasant, welcoming scent that was not overwhelming. The bedroom was clean, spacious, and comfortable. There was plenty of counter space in the bathroom for personal items. The water pressure felt great in the shower. We enjoyed the view from the large window in the sitting room upstairs. We also enjoyed viewing rare animals and learning local facts about them and the area during breakfast. The hot breakfast was delicious and at a perfect temperature. The grape or cherry tomatoes were a nice touch - no other place we’ve been to has served it this way, and we actually prefer it the way Ardno House serves it! Last, but not least, the hosts were pleasant and hospitable, and we look forward to staying again in the future.

It did get slightly warm in the bedroom while sleeping at night, but we appreciated the note that was left with options to make adjustments (fan, light sheet in the drawer, window)

Morag and Robert are exceptional hosts. They couldn't have been more kind and welcoming, and offered great conversation and recommendations each day of our stay there. The room itself was cute and had everything we needed. Good location and near all the Glencoe attractions, easy to park and get in and out. The breakfast is superb - one of the best meals we ate in two weeks in Scotland was a haggis-stuffed mushroom at Ardno House. They also have a beautiful garden with many bird feeders set up, so you can watch the comings and goings of the birds and squirrels out back, which was very entertaining.

I don't have any complaints. We would very happily stay here again and recommend this place to anyone.

Ardno House was such a lovely place to stay for our visit to Glencoe. Morag and Robert are exceptional hosts. They work so hard to make Ardno House a pic-perfect B&B while also extending a personal welcome and feeling of home. We were super impressed and enjoyed our stay immensely. Location is also great. Close enough to Glencoe that you can drive there quickly, but also far away enough that you don't feel the pressure of being with lots of tourists. Also Ardno House is right on the water, which I didn't realize from the photos.

I can't think of anything that could have been better.

Beautiful location, gorgeous comfortable house with so many thoughtful and charming touches provided by the lovely hosts, Robert & Morag. Even providing a spray and cloth in case the windows of our train to Mallaig were steamed up! Delicious breakfast accompanied by watching red squirrel and an abundance of birds in the garden, we were even lucky enough to see a pine marten.

You would struggle to find fault with anything

Robert and Morag were amazing! The house was impeccably clean, and the pictures don't do it justice - you wake up every morning to an incredible view of the loch and a delicious Scottish breakfast. My favorite by far was their blackberry jam - I loved it so much I took a jar home with me. Friendly hosts, a beautiful setting, and a clean and comfortable room. This was truly a highlight of our trip to Scotland.

Our stay at Robert and Morag's B&B was great. The room was very cosy and comfortably furnished. There were great products available in the bathroom and there was a kettle in the room with a large selection of tea and coffee, which we really liked. There was also fresh milk. We were asked on arrival if we had any allergies or intolerances, which we thought was really great. The breakfast was sensational. You can choose from a menu of different dishes for breakfast, which are freshly prepared. Fresh juices, yoghurt, cornflakes etc. are also available in the breakfast room. You can feel how much love Robert and Morag put into running the B&B and we would recommend it to anyone.

Robert and Morag were exceptionally kind and welcoming hosts with recommendations and advice. The breakfast was diverse and generous. The view from the window was very nice.

The floor boards were slightly squeaky which can happen in older buildings - a bit like staying with my grandparents :) The location is slightly more remote requiring a bit more of a journey for dinner.

This place is a real gem. The hosts, Robert and Morag, are very friendly and really spoilt us. The rooms are exceptional. Clean, comfortable and large. The house is immaculate with lovely gardens and a great view of the Loch. As we had our wonderful home cooked breakfast, we watched the birds and squirrels play in the yard.
