Breakfast was absolutely amazing, everything was fresh and of high quality. Host was also able to accommodate individual request (e.g. I wanted bacon not salmon with my eggs). The house itself sits quite remote, making it a little bit of a drive to get there, but it's definitely worth it. In return, you get a house in a beautiful location, it's very quiet and you only see and hear nature around you. The breakfast area also gives a great view of the beautiful garden and all the little birds flying around in it.

We truely loved our stay here at Torbeag House. This Bed & Breakfast is a real gem. The host was lovely and super friendly and we immediately felt very welcome. Our room was beautifully furnished with a lovely attention to detail. We loved the colours that matched throughout the room. The bed was very comfortable and overall everything was clean and cozy. The breakfast was delicious and prepared and cooked by the host and we loved the self-made jam they made from fruits of their beautiful garden. The view out of the window when having breakfast is breathtaking. Ben Nevis is greeting you as well as the wonderful garden. It was a perfect place to stay when exploring the area around, e.g. Fort William, the Glenfinnan Viaduct or the Jacobite Steam Train. We will definitely come back and stay here for further exploring, walking and hiking the area around Ben Nevis. Totally recommend.

This place is very tranquil, comfortable, and peaceful, making it an ideal spot for a retreat. The calm atmosphere here allows us to unwind and escape from the stresses of daily life, offering a perfect environment for relaxation and reflection. Special thanks to the owner for the warm hospitality and walked extra miles to assist us. The breakfast is scrumptious and the atmosphere is great ! We truly enjoyed the stay
The road access to the hotel is narrow and had few streetlights, making it difficult to navigate after dark. It’s not recommended to arrive at the hotel at night, as the lack of lighting and the narrow, winding path could make the drive more challenging

The host was amazingly nice and polite, super serviceable. The house is located in a piece of heaven. 10 minutes by car from Fort Williams, the house is directly facing the nature and Nevis Range Mountain. The garden is beautifully maintained and available for guests. The breakfast is homemade and delicious. The rooms are extremely clean and welcoming. Amazing experience and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the region!

It was a lovely stay! The host are very kind, prepared to help you with any suggestion regarding the surrounding area. Rooms are fully equipped, large and comfortable. The house is surrounded by green, flowers and if you're lucky enough during sunny days rooms are enlighted by sunshines. I was traveling with a friend of mine, but highly recommend this place for couple: the atmosphere is romantic and intimate! What else? Very wide choice for breakfast, which is very good and prepared with local and seasonal ingredients; moreover it is served in a large room with an amazing view on Ben Nevis. Everything was perfect during our stay. I'd love to go back! Thank you!

Joan and Bruce were very pleasant and attentive hosts - it was a great pleasure to be their guests. What makes visit special - spectacular view from dining room window where you get home made quality breakfast (you can choose from several options). The garden and mountains in the horizon fits well if you want to relax after long day.
The location is great - only 10 min from Fort Wiliam but it’s not so easy to ride to it. Anyway, you get very detailed info from the host to find right way.

The location was quiet and relaxing and the gardens were beautiful with all the rhododendrons in flower. The beds and linens were superior quality. The food was delicious and the choices for breakfasts exceeded expectations. The baskets with snacks and essential items with an honesty box were a very thoughtful idea. The hostess was very welcoming.

We booked a last-minute short trip to Scotland. Having looked at few hotels, we decided to book a B&B. The place we chose seemed like a nice guest house. It had a great rating and reviews so we thought we would take a risk. Torbeag House is an absolute gem. We paid £135 per night with breakfast but it was worth every penny. I am so glad we didn’t book a popular hotel chain. Everything about our stay was wonderful. We arrived earlier than expected and Bruce welcomed us and let us go to our room. He was very friendly and informal which was very nice and made us comfortable. The room was wonderful. It had everything we needed. They provided toiletries, tea, coffee, cakes, water. The heating came on in the evening when it got chilly. Everything about this room was amazing. Even the carpet felt soft and fluffy. Actually, everything was good quality: bed linen, furniture even the hand soap (which was lush, and I now need to buy it for myself) We had huge windows on two sides of the room and it was amazing to wake up to the singing birds and the view of the mountain. We went out for the day and came back to a tidied room. It was such a lovely thing, and we didn’t expect it. Everything was replenished, towels were changed. We prebooked our breakfast and again, it was wonderfully served. Joan made sure we were happy and offered extras. The whole place is immaculate. Even the garden. The attention to detail is off the scale Even the little fresh flower on the breakfast table, matching gorgeous table ware. Other people who gave it a poor rating, learn to appreciate life, people and little things or stay at home and get a life. And if you’re going to Scotland and complaining about poor wifi, you should definitely stay at home. We will be back soon :) Kate & Stuart

We had one of the most wonderful time of our trip here. Joan is was wonderful host. She was particularly welcoming, attentive and caring. The view of Ben Nevis from our room and the breakfast room was fantastic. We couldn't get enough of the view ! The room was beautiful, comfortable and decorated with elegance. The entire property, from the rooms to the gardens, was immaculately clean. The breakfast was fantastic and elegant with a wide choice of dishes. What a delight it was to watch the spellbinding scenery over Ben Navis during breakfast and the birds coming to eat right next to us.. For sure it is the best B&B ever.
Our stay was too short !

We have a lovely stay at Torbeag House. The breakfast was beautifully cooked in the morning and we sat by a huge window looking over the mountains. Lovely. The room was also great - clean, comfortable and a good size.
There is nothing I would change. It was very quiet and had a no children rule (which was good for our stay, but would prevent me from coming back with my teen girls).
