Although our stay was short, it was truly wonderful - Innes House B&B is by far the nicest non-chain accommodation we've stayed at. Liz and Innes were incredibly welcoming and attentive hosts. You can tell they’ve poured their heart and soul into this beautiful house, as every detail has been carefully considered to make guests feel at home. The views from our bedroom windows were stunning. The cooked breakfast was delicious, and we especially loved the yogurt served with a generous portion of fresh fruit. Breakfast was served in the conservatory, which overlooked a beautifully kept garden and the mountains beyond. The setting and the table itself genuinely made us all say "wow." Innes also recommended some local landmarks that weren’t originally on our itinerary, and we’re so glad he did. We visited them all, and the highlight of our day was definitely Traigh Beach. Thank you for such a memorable experience. I’ll definitely return if I'm ever back in the area!

Our hosts provide a clean, comfortable and friendly experience with a local knowledge that assisted greatly in the selection of attractions to visit. Breakfast was great and a good start to each day. Not knowing what to expect, we were very much impressed with our selected accommodation. Our gratitude and appreciation is extended to our hosts. Mike and Elizabeth, thank you ever so much for helping to make our stay very memorable.

The location of the accommodation, provided by Booking.com, did not include the address or street name which made it difficult to locate. The consistent Summer rain.

We immediately felt at home, they welcomed us with the Italian flag hoisted in the garden. They were extremely kind and helpful. The large and welcoming bedroom, very comfortable bed, bathroom with every comfort, even the dispenser with shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath and body lotion. All perfectly clEan and with delicious scent. Fantastic and abundant breakfast with elegantly set table. Really really lovely owners ... we left our hearts there

This was the highlight accommodation on our trip, it was absolutely stunning in every way. Hosts, Liz and Mike were so welcoming and friendly, and the room en-suite exceeded all expectations. The breakfasts were exceptional and the recommendations for Dinner worked very well. If we are in the area again, we most certainly would stop there and will recommend it to our friends.

What is there not to like? Superb hosts, cracking food, magnificent location, and flag flying from the Flagstaff!

Stayed here over two nights end of May! Hosts Liz and Mike were so welcoming and lovely. The room itself (named Loch Shiel) was a huge dual aspect room with superb views to the front of Loch Shiel and the mountains beyond and to the rear a beautiful garden with the hills behind. The room has a large bathroom with nice toiletries and really soft towels! One thing I really appreciate is the black out blinds. In Scotland it gets dark very late and light very early, so for the best nights sleep for me I need a black out blind. Very few places think of this! The room also has tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk available and nice biscuits! The bed was huge and comfortable, just what you need after a long drive!! Breakfasts were excellent, with a wide choice for cooked breakfast selected in your room the night before...everything you would want hot!! Plus continental items such as croissants, pastries available with Liz's home made jams! All the cooked items were from local suppliers and were of the highest quality. So well rested and belly full, we were able to get some really good advice on our plans for sightseeing. Both Liz and Mike have a great local knowledge which will take you to some beautiful places. Mike is a photographer and is happy to share some special hints and tips to get to the special places!! Overall we had a great stay in a wonderful place, made so special by such warm, welcoming and knowledgeable hosts. Thank you Liz and Mike!

Leaving! ;-) Seriously though, we couldn't fault anything!

Beautiful area, cozy and luxurious room and breakfast, friendly and helpful hosts Liz and Mike - what more could you want?? Just a short list of highlights in Acharacle and the surrounding areas: - The drive into and around Acharacle - spectacular mountains and lochs! - (if you’re a Harry Potter fan like us) you will love the Glenfinnan viaduct complete with daily steam train and views of Loch Shiel opposite - this is the same Loch which the BnB has views onto, but just down the other end. - Castle Tioram situated on a rocky island in the middle of a loch - you can climb up on the island when the tide is low - Lighthouse at the westernmost point of mainland UK - many other locations your hosts can suggest! - tasty meals at the local hotel and cafe! This area is off the beaten track which means you mostly get to escape crowds of tourists (except perhaps at the viaduct). All in all, a fantastic quiet base with all the modern conveniences from which to explore a gorgeous area and maybe linger a little over Liz’s decadent breakfasts :)

Liz and Innes were great hosts, very friendly and kind. The location was excellent. They made us feel very welcomed and did not mind what time/when we went out or came back. Breakfast was fantastic, as they say, they will give you a great breakfast to set you up for the day. Room was big and very comfortable, would highly recommend staying there if you were visiting Acharacle/ Highlands.

Cannot answer that question, as everything was excellent.

We were greeted warmly at this fabulous B&B. We had a family room and the host was kind enough to add an extra bed because the sofa bed would not have been large enough for two adults. The double bed seemed to be wider than most others we found in Scotland. Beautifully decorated room and the best breakfast (made to order!) we had in Scotland. Lots of great info from the hosts on what to do nearby.

Just one small thing: more electric outlets in the room, please. Otherwise it was perfect and we wish we could have stayed longer!

On arrival my friends and I were met by Innes and Liz who made us feel at home immeadiatly. Innes gave us a lot of help with places to see and where to eat. Innes even booked us in at the local hotel for our evening meal for the nights we were there. Innes recommended the local garage, as we had a couple of minor problems with the car the garage were excellent and efficient, they also did a great job.

The only very minor thing was that Acharacle is a wee bit out of the way but the countryside and everyone in the village were fantastic.

We rarely hand out a perfect score. Here is why we could not do any other way. The breakfast was excellent. The lady of the house Liz, cooks the breakfast herself at the time you wish. Do not be late, since she takes great care in serving excellent tasting food, with home made jams in the conservatory, with a view of their very green garden. The house is beautifully decorated with pictures by Innes, the husband of Liz, who has a talent for photography. You can buy the pictures framed for a very fair price. The room is superb; everything is their in the right proportions designed with care and in a British tradition, excellent beds and great shower. The place is so clean. The friendliness and interest in their guests is what stands out most. Innes drew several special maps for us, so we would not miss the things we wanted to see and experience the best of the Highlands. They are so willing to make your stay the best you can imagine in Scotland. And that is what they did: the best stay!

Nothing really, not even the weather...
