We loved the view, the facilities, and the amount of space! After being in a cramped hotel room, a cottage was a welcome change of pace. Having tea and biscuits in the morning was lovely, and we appreciated the 2 bathrooms and the option to do laundry if needed. We did not need to use the fridge or freezer but it was very convenient. The views from the front windows were beautiful! Additionally the checkin process couldn't have been smoother and we were able to find our lodge easily and get our key directly from the lockbox thanks to the clear directions in the booking email.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable and it was difficult for us to sleep. In addition, we had difficulty locking the doors from the inside on our first night. As it was very windy, this was a bit frustrating and we ended up using an ottoman against the door. However, we did manage to get it right for the second night. When we called the number listed for help, no one answered.

The inside amendments were good and nice. There was good TV and streaming connections we used in evening time at the cabin. All electricity and heating operated very well. There was heavy rain one night so the laundry machine’s drying feature was nice to find. Good beds and one of us even slept in living room couches without any trouble. Btw. There was absolutely our best restaurant finding of all Scotland in Broadford - the Harbour restaurant - nearby! We were there in horrible weather and were lucky to get last table without even reservation. (Apparently that was just pure luck for us.) We had car so the stunning skye nature sites like Fairy pools, Neist point were nicely accessible from this place. Visited also Talisker and Portree in our one full day stay (two nights at this cabin).

No dishwasher but we didnt cook in cabin, just enjoyed evening snack and breakfast so it wasnt really big issue for us. Quite expensive cabins probably because we were late to book our Skye stay. The cabin site per se is not very nice as theres just coarse gravel. But this didnt cause trouble for us as it was just place to sleep and we werent walking or doing day time walk excursions from the cabin. I cannot understand how to cabins would last very long as the build quality is not good. The floor was already having some support issues and it looked like the cabins were built in hurry. Some of us thought that perhaps the night was so expensive because its like couple of years they need to get money to build another cabins until these are all gone bad. At the moment still good.

*** Refers to the 'Faerie Glen' lodge *** A modern lodge beautifully located in Broadford in the Isle of Skye region. Unexpectedly spacious, bright, clean and accommodating. Really pleasant views from the porch. A free parking place on site. Friendly reminder: When travelling by car, make sure to take the High Road directly from A87 (as it is stated in the address provided), because sometimes car navigation suggests (mistakenly) taking the 'Pairc Nan Craobh' road instead.

None we could think of. Maybe a dishwasher would be a nice additional feature, but you simply can't have everything ;-)

The chalet was nice, clean, and reasonably located within walking distance to Broadford hotel. Spacious, great amenities.

The tv didn't turn on with out having to stand on a chair, reach behind the all mounted TV and flip switches, wait 15 seconds and try again. Had to email the hosts 2 times for help. Key was in lock box. This was ok but the door key didn't lock the door without struggling. 2 keys, one for locking, 1 for unlocking. Had to leave the key in the lock inside in order to lock the door from the inside. Unclear instructions on how to use keys. The price charged was double compared to the usual price for our dates.Just because of it being a bank holiday weekend??

The property is huge, impeccably clean, well maintained, with all amenities and luxurious. The ‘temple’ and ‘keep’ are 2 separate listings, however both are part of the same structure. It looked like a small castle and was magnificent. The living area was great and we loved the view of the airplanes flying from there. The only thing was that it was relatively far from city centre and nearest convenience store was ~3.5 km away, hence not having a car can be a bit challenging. However, deliveries were happening seamlessly and the kitchen was well maintained.

Slightly far from the city centre and a 2 km stretch towards the road was narrow to walk on foot since there was no footpath. One has to walk on the road which can be slightly difficult post sunset.

The lodge seemed brand new and was very clean and fresh. We were 4 adults and there was plenty of room for us all. 2 small bathrooms were super and well laid out. Beds were a good size and very comfortable. Cooking facilities, crockery, pans etc all present and in lovely condition. Comfy sofa and big TV made a nice relaxing area. There's a small outdoor area with a table and benches - countryside view. The lodge has been tastefully furnished and felt very modern and fresh. Parking alongside the lodge was really helpful.

The entry road and parking areas were being covered with gravel and workmen started early in the morning right up against our lodge. It will be so nice when it is finished so we didn't really mind.

Loved location and open plan. We went for a Family (2 adults 2 kids) tech de-tox with our dog. The open plan and large kitchen table made board games fun. The location was great for exploring the Isle. The kitchen was well stocked and a good selection of pans and utensils that were all in good order. It made me realise how bad my pans at home are. The 2 bathrooms and showers made life easy. The place was very clean and felt warm inside. There is also a lovely local dog walking loop that we found.

Had a brilliant time only slight issue was the lack of drying room or someplace to hang dirty wet jackets (clothes rack ? ). We where there for the hill walking and coming straight in from the hills, we where hanging a jackets and stuff on the kitchen chairs. If the weather had turned really bad we could have ended up with mud everywhere.

Lovely view and the lodge itself was really nice. Provided all you may need and felt nice and cosy. We were pleasantly surprised as it was more spacious inside than you'd guess from the outside.

Partner struggled a bit with the length of bed (he's 6"2) and he had his feet right against end of bed and entrance to en-suite bathroom felt a bit tight for myself, however I got to admit I'm pregnant and belly was getting in way mostly. No major issues though as overall the bed was comfortable enough to get good sleep.

-Beautiful modern cottage style hut with mountain views. Good lighting TV, cutlery, dishes was a bonus -loved the no contact check in and check out system. Good communucation by team -perfect location for nice breakfast/dinner places and grocery store. Everything within 5-10 mins drive.

-Gravel in the parking area and disorganised parking by other residents. if road is flattened, it will become easier for people with mobility issues/wheelchairs to navigate around the property. -I believe it is great for 3-4 days stay but starts feeling like too small after that -Dishwasher! Would have loved one! -No privacy, can hear through walls -Bed too small

Excellent location to explore Skye. Staff were very helpful. Very well equipt. We were pleased that we had a lovely Mountain View Lodge as the others look over the parking spaces and back of the other lodges! Broadford is a great place for facilities and interesting shops and cafes.

We did have to mention a used towel being left after cleaning and the hand wash dispensers are beginning to leave rusty marks. It would have been useful to have somewhere to hang wet clothes after a wet walk.
