I spent Christmas at the Plockton Inn and it was one of the most perfect stays I have ever had. From the moment I booked to the moment I left everything was wonderful. The staff were friendly, kind and attentive to detail. The food was excellent at every meal. The rooms were beautiful and spotless and attended to every day. Christmas with them was wonderful. So glad I went. I didn't want to leave. All this, and then add on the spectacular scenery. Heaven!

Great inn. Super polite manager. Showed us to our room and even asked if he could help with our luggage. Great little bar with both guests and locals.

Pricing was on the high side but this is a very small town with limited places to stay. It’s located within an hour of Isle of Skye so it could be understandable. Overall a great place.

As in real estate, this hotel is mostly about location, location, location. Plockton is a small village tucked away behind two - mostly - single track roads, it is peaceful, and its little port and surrounding nature are beautiful. It is a great place to visit the Isle of Skye from. A highlight of our trip through Scotland The staff is young, dedicated, kind and helpful. The kitchen is okay. At our first night, the kitchen staff had fallen ill and the restaurant had a replacement chef. We had a superb dinner with the langoustines, salmon, young potatoes, and crisp kale cooked to perfection

Beautiful location, new refurbished rooms were gorgeous. Great food in the restaurant, lovely atmosphere throughout the whole hotel.. staff were EXCELLENT, especially a young lady called Stephanie at breakfast time she was wonderful, please do tell her! Exceptionally clean room and very dog friendly!! Lovely little gift bag of doggy accessories in the room ready for our arrival- very thoughtful.

My only two small complaints are that when the rooms were serviced everything was refreshed and cleaned except the bins that were not emptied at all during our stay. And the kettle was very small for a triple bedroom, would only make one cup of tea!

We had an amazing stay at the Plockton Inn! The highlight was definitely how incredibly dog-friendly the place is. Our dog was made to feel right at home, and it’s so refreshing to find a place that truly welcomes pets with open arms. The staff were all exceptionally friendly, but a special mention goes to the waitress who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She was attentive, personable, and really made our experience feel extra special. The rooms were cozy and well-maintained, and the location is perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and we’ll definitely be returning in the future!

Very small parking, however you can park along the road.

Fabulous dog friendly hotel with spacious, clean and stylish room and doggy treats / toys for our dogs. Had a lovely meal served by friendly, happy staff. But special shout out to Danielle. She’s a sweetheart with a lovely personality and made us very welcome when checking in and serving in the restaurant. We love dog friendly hotels and this one is fabulous. Breakfast buffet served in the Haven next door which could do with being updated to the save standard as our hotel room. But lovely, friendly female staff greeted us with smiles and were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We lived Plockton itself too.

Lovely Inn in a stunning location. The staff were all super-friendly and welcoming. There was a lovely relaxing vibe about the place. Checking in and out was very easy and efficiently dealt with. Make sure when you book that if you expect to stay in the main building you do not select a Haven Room as this is in a separate building next door to the Inn. It wasn't clear to me that this would be the case. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable but without looking too hard, I did notice that fixtures, door frames and skirting boards in the bathroom had a layer of fuzz on them so maybe a bit more than a daily cursory clean is required? The food on offer was good. Breakfast buffet was good quality and plentiful and the staff very attentive. I was slightly disappointed that an Inn renowned as a Seafood restaurant offered only a salmon dish or haddock, chips and mushy peas on both nights we ate there. Perhaps having been taken over by a larger Hotel Group has changed the philosophy slightly? Despite the slight negatives, all in all we really enjoyed our visit. The fabulous location and great staff made it for us.

Our accommodation was in The Haven just next door and not the Plockton Inn itself. The evening meal in the Inn was out outstanding and so so tasty . Staff very helpful and friendly. The bar in the Inn was lovely too ( the breakfast was in the The Haven accommodation and was satisfactory my thanks to the chef for my porridge - staff who go out of their way to accommodate the public are what make a good hotel and give it a good atmosphere and reputation ) The village of Plockton is so tranquil nice place to while away a chilled holiday especially if you like the water but we only had one night as we were heading home ward

The Haven is still to be as I understand it to be fully renovated. There a few wee issues with the windows/ curtains. But the decoration in bedroom was very tasteful and understated the bathroom and public areas very clean.

What a truely wonderful place to stay! We shared a room with my dad and what a spacious room! Bathroom also a very decent size. Beautiful room! Very comfy beds! Food in the restaurant was very tasty. Friendly personnel allover! Breakfast in buffet style also very well done. Freshly served hot food, fruit, etc. When we are ever back in Plockton, there is no doubt at all where we would stay! One thing: we did not get an extra set of towels for my dad, but as it was only the one night this was not a problem at all and we could have asked of course. We were not inconvenienced at all by this, it is just a head's up!

Plockton was a small coastal towns where the tides go in and out twice a day. It was a small fishing village surrounded by trees. The town is a U-shaped. This hotel is in the main area walking distance to restaurants. Our room was in the second floor facing the street number 5, it had peek-a-boo views towards the water, comfy bed, nice pillow, stylish bathroom, bright colors, sitting chairs.

We only stayed one night which wasn’t long enough. We didn’t have time to eat in the restaurant. The menu and decor looked great.
