The hotel appeared better than I would expect based on customer reviews. Our family room was in the newer building (there are 2 BnBs in this location - Glenarroch and Witchwood) and was pretty clean, quiet and comfortable. A bit on a smaller side with 3 beds in it. If we had 2 kids that would feel congested. The bathroom was large and spacious, with window. Breakfast is served in the next door cafe. You can opt for either continental breakfast (cereals, yoghurt, fruits) or Hot breakfast (several variations of eggs - scrambled, benedict, florentine on a toast etc) which are quite tasty. The location is pretty convenient, right beside Skye bridge, you can use it either before starting the exploration of the isle or after it, before getting off.

The hotel does not provide complementary bottled water which caught us off-guard because we were not sure about quality of tap water. Window blinds were very dusty, when we needed to roll them down, although the rest of the room was quite clean

Lovely overnight stay here with a really good breakfast included. Stunning location for sitting overlooking the water and Skye bridges. Great base for exploring Skye. It was spotless and I loved how they had individual plastic cups in the room wrapped and the towels were lovely and big. The staff in Lost Mary's restaurant where you eat were lovely. Very helpful and were super nice to Bob our dog.

We stayed in Witchwood and my only little niggle was that the shower cubicle was small and low in height. I managed but my tall husband gave it a miss.

Nice location near Skye bridge on the lake front in Kyleakin. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. Since we opted for breakfast included in our fare, we were issued a breakfast coupon for next morning at the time of check-in itself! Reception, our room and the breakfast area are located in three different properties!!!

The person in the breakfast area let us down when he repeatedly said we didn't hand him over the breakfast coupon though we did that as the first thing when we entered! It took a while to convince him it was indeed given, but that wasn't a good start for the morning which was not so bad otherwise. And the breakfast was overpriced for what they offered.

Excellent location on the Isle of Skye. Rooms were comfortable, clean and roomy. Check in staff was very helpful and friendly; did laundry for us for a very reasonable fee. Plenty of parking available.

Very expensive, though it was a very expensive area in general. We were the last to breakfast, and they were out of eggs and salmon, though the staff handled it well, and gave us extra of what they did have, and the food was good-just don't be late to breakfast if you are picky.

The rooms where spacey enough for 2 people and the shower was also big. It‘s nicely located, directly by the skye bridge and the staff was very nice! The breakfast was also very great. We only stayed for one night but I would definetly stay longer.

The walls are very thin, you can hear the shower of the other guests which is a problem for someone like me that is a light sleeper. Other than that, we where pleased with everything.

The location was excellent for us and as a bonus had lovely views. We were in the Witchwoodbbuilding the room was quite small but very clean and comfortable. We had en suite facilities but we did notice some rooms had to share toilet and showers.

The garden area was a bit unkempt and could have been made a lot more of. The building itself is not very glamorous it could do with a bit of updating but it served our needs very well and was good value for money.

Service and food at the next door restaurant (Saucy Maggies?) was excellent. When we arrived at the hotel no one was around, there was a note on the door but it was hard to understand, go to Saucy Maggies it said. Upon arrival we had no idea where that was. Finally we understood and found the check in person, but it was too early. We sat around for awhile and then went to our very small room with bath. It reminded me of a "Backpackers Hotel", as we called the cheap hotels in Europe in the 80"s. Clean but a little rundown. It was fine.

The check in could have been better. As I said though, we were too early. There were others who were there early too.

The breakfast was ok but nothing special

We had an evening meal at the saucy Mary which went horribly wrong, we were kept waiting 2 hrs while other people came and went and had to complain several times to finally get our meal which was only ok and had to fight to get a decent discount on the bill for the inconvenience. Apart from that all went well 😁

Great location for us to visit the Isle of Skye Breakfast was lovey and there was a good selection to choose from The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and very accommodating of our dog. They made our dog feel as welcome as we did Rondi who worked in the restaurant was a lovely friendly man and made us and our dog feel so welcome
