We were hesitant to book this hotel as there weren't many reviews of it online and we couldn't locate it on Google Maps. However we are so happy we stayed here in the end. The room was huge, as was the bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable. Though it feels a little tucked away, everything is still very walkable and Yandex's are able to find the property easily. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Almaty.

Spacious and comfortable apartment with a big living room • Large terrace – a unique and relaxing feature • Quiet location away from the city center, which added to the peaceful atmosphere • Beautiful building design – more like a cozy, two-story boutique property • Toilet has water spray/shattaf with good pressure • Bathroom includes both a large bathtub (looks high-tech) and a separate shower box • Fully equipped kitchen with all necessary cutlery and dishes, suitable for two • Alexandre, the host, was very sociable and helpful with restaurant and travel advice • Some rooms require stairs, but alternative options are available – we enjoyed the privacy it gave • Peaceful nights with nostalgic early morning sounds (birds chirping, distant dogs barking) • Would definitely return if visiting Almaty again

• Not a traditional hotel – more of a serviced apartment setup • Not located in the central city area (though that may be a plus for some) • No 24/7 reception – guests may need to call to have the door opened, especially after hours • Phone in the room didn’t work on the first night – possibly due to weak signal; would be much better if fixed • No facilities on site – no gym, no spa, no laundry service, and no help arranging laundry pickups • No washing machine in the apartment – be prepared for fully self-managed stay • Could be inconvenient if you don’t have a local phone or calling option

THE PROPERTY IS EXCELLENT. VERY WELL MAINTAINED. NEAT AND CLEAN. ALL FITTINGS ARE BEST. DAILY CLEANING AND CHANGING OF TOWELS. THE PROPERTY IS VERY BEAUTIFUL AND TASTEFUL DONE. NO COMPLAIN .

THE PROPERTY DO NOT HAVE ANY FOOD FACILITY NOR THEY HAVE ANY BREAKFAST OPTION. INSPITE OF MARKETING AS APARTMENT THEY DONT PROVIDE ANY STOVE OR HOT PLATE. FOR COOKING IN APARTMENT. EVERYTIME FOR LUNCH OR DINNER YOU HAVE TO GO OUT TO A RESTAURANT. ITS NOT SUITABLE FOR TRAVELLERS WHO WISH TO COOK FOR KIDS OR EVEN WISH TO HAVE NOODLES OR HOT SNACKS. THE APARTMENT HAS NO SUCH FACILITY. EXCEPT MICROWAVE.

Very clean and nice hotel, but a bit difficult to find. Room was spacious and I love how clean the toilet is.

There was no breakfast provided, and it was quite pricey. Also, it was a bit shame that they did not have any umbrella we could borrow.

We had a fantastic stay at Apart Hotel Colibri. Thanks to Mr. Alex who made our stay very convenient and comfortable. The hotel is situated in a residential area, quite safe for families and very close to important tourist attractions. The facilities in the room were good and perfect. WIFI is fast. I would recommend this for families.

The staff were very accommodating and hospitable. The room was as I expected, and felt very home-like. The bathroom was spacious and the bed was soft. The carpet in the room adds a sense of coziness.

Really specious apartment with great walking distance to all points of the city. Warm personal which is trying to make your stay enjoyable and ready to help. I'm travelling a lot and it's the great place for someone who is looking for a really clean place in quiet neighbourhood. Definitely, will consider staying again.

Nothing bad with the hotel at all. Would suggest putting this hotel on Google maps as was difficult to find at first.

Nice property, cozy and quiet and only 10 min by taxi to the city center. Hospitable owner invest a lot to make the garden beauty. Two adorable cats also made the atmosphere relaxing.

10 euros for washing clothes, no coffee, and unpleasant smell of hand soap

A little Oasis on the edge of town. Lovely courtyard and balcony. Shower and bath were top notch. Owner very helpful. Could walk to a local Turkish restaurant.

No wardrobe, so had to request hangers which was no problem.
