The views and the staff were great! We loved the access to the beach. The breakfast was phenomenal. Larry made making transportation arrangements effortless. You can definitely have a great time and also relax.

The food in the snack bar area was terrible. The food was clearly just taken from breakfast and then put under lamps to be eaten off of all day. The food was not fresh and this is the only area to eat in between meals, so that was dissapointing.

Great cleaning service and in general great treatment for the clients. Good variety of dishes and good quality in the buffet and snack bar.

Definitely it is necessary to invest more in infrastructure for elderly people. Not just in the buildings and rooms around but in the internal transport services. A better acces for those whom may need a better mobilization might helps. The installation of a lift in the main building would be important. It's important too to invest in the security staff on the beach.

Standard fare at the buffets.Recommend buying the deluxe upgrade to access rhe premium bar, room service, and more flexibility with reservations at Asian, Italian and the Grill restaurants. Great location, beautiful beach, and lots of birds and wildlife.

The mini bar in the room, supposed to provide beer, water and soda, was not reliable. We stayed a week and got beers once, which we had to request through room service.

Food: The buffet food was the best on location. Lots of variety and all quite tasty. Prepared fresh! The snack bar was also quite good. It was more like a finger food buffet than a snack bar. I have a lot of seller and was able to find a good amount of options. Room/room location: We had two rooms for our group. Both were very nice and comfortable. Comfortable beds, enough towels, clean, amazing view, requested an extra pillow and received it. Our building was pretty far away from the center and we got in a lot of steps, literally up and down a lot of steps! There is a free shuttle service that we used when we were tired of walking. Explore and find the short cuts, it really helps! I was not prepared for the hilliness of the property-country! So many hills and steps, but it was ok, lots of time to enjoy the views. If you are not able to walk request a handicap room that’s closer. Beach: the beach is at the bottom of the property and is quite lovely! There’s no such thing as private beaches in CR, if you can get to it you can use it. This place is out of the way so there was very little additional traffic on the beach. Do not try to take any shells home, they will find them and take them back! Suggestions in response to complaints I read: try to speak some Spanish, it’s fun and the staff will help you more. Be as respectful and kind as you’d like anyone to be with you. Appreciate the culture and vast beauty of the place, you aren’t at home so it shouldn’t feel like home. Its a beautiful experience! Activities: we used the kayaking opportunities, had a massage on the beach, they made some transportation arrangements for us, we used the pools and pool areas once, we mostly took tours and hung out on the beach. The lobby bar had some board games and was a very classy atmosphere. There was music in the lobby some nights, we really enjoyed the saxophonist!

Our fridge didn’t work but we didn’t need it so we didn’t mention it. If we had I’ve no doubt it would have been fixed. There are also shuttles! The music at the pools was too loud and not a relaxing vibe.

Loved that it was adults only. Everyone staying at the hotel were really friendly, we spent hours in the swim up mini pool chatting. Private beach with kayaks (free), massages (on the beach are cheap and good!) and jet ski’s. Howler monkeys live on site eating the mangoes and the largest iguanas we saw on holiday too. The food buffet was good for vegetarians but lacking in protein but this was true for everywhere in Costa Rica we stayed. It is on a hillside so expect to walk a bit around the property as it’s a big place. Room was lovely.

Bring mosquito spray. The a la carte oriental food wasn’t good but again we are vegetarians. Minor thing but the music in the restaurants was awful - total lift music. So simple but makes a difference to your experience.

Things we loved: •The ocean view room •The tour booking service staff ( JJ and LARRY-the best!) • car rental in the hotel • security at the gate • friendly restaurant staff at the snack bar and buffet • pools and amenities (coffee and drinks)

Things we didn’t love that much: • check in staff upon arrival • plugged shower • the food at the Italian (inedible and cold-we walked out and didn’t eat) Buffet was hit and miss • one towel for pool

Convenient, everything is close by so it’s comfortable to walk around to the snack bar, pools and other amenities.

If you’re traveling with elderly people or people with mobility issues it’s not a great place as there’s no elevators, ramps and there’s a lot of stairs so be mindful when reserving.

The staff were fantastic!! friendly people, so many activities and great food. The views were spectacular, and there was live entertainment daily. Would highly recommend this resort

The only suggestion I have is to add yoga to the resort

Paradise resort with great pools and remarkable service. I'd like to address some of the occasional negative reviews regarding the dining experience at this resort: This is a moderate priced resort in a high price country. The food is excellent and we loved it, but it is not the 5-Star gourmet dining you get in a 5-times-more-expensive french ski resort.

Amazing setting overlooking the bay, big resort with a lot of privacy, food was great, very friendly staff! You can see some monkeys on the property.
