The staff were excellent, with a 24 hour front desk so you could ask questions as needed. They were extremely helpful in helping us get a reliable, reasonably priced cab when Uber fell through. Overall our stay was comfortable and we liked the feel of the hotel… Nice lounge/patio spaces also to get away from the city but not be in your room. The hotel has security guards on all the time also which made us feel secure.

If you’re facing the street (many rooms don’t) there can be noise. La Paz never seemed to sleep so if you’re a light sleeper request a room off the Main Street.

This was such a great hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and the location was perfect for the central area. The rooms were comfortable and a nice size. The décor in the rooms was so cute; we loved all of the small accents. The hotel itself was beautiful. I wish we would have had more time to sit in the courtyard and enjoy the peace in the middle of a busy city.

It looks like there used to be a restaurant. I could have been nice to have the option but by no means was a deal breaker. There are plenty of food options nearby.

It’s a lovely hotel. Great staff and great security guard who looked out for hotel guest during street parade. Nice relax area with water and hot drinks. Room was spacious and there was a lovely courtyard in the centre.it’s in a good location walking distance from witches market, gifts street sellers and cable car and the tourist area.

This area is very noisy and not very clean. Unfortunately the two nights I was there some sort of celebration that didn’t end until 3am ! There are many street sellers around and people seems to hang out near the hotel drinking in the evenings

Excellent hotel! Very polite and friendly staff, very comfortable and well decorated rooms. Good beds with very comfortable mattresses. Good sized bathroom with excellent shower with hot water. Very good breakfast with many options. Very well located, very close to the witches' market and other tourist attractions.

The Wi-Fi was a bit slow and unstable, but this can easily be improved.

Loved the location. As soon as you step outside the hotel you are in the hustle and bustle of downtown and a 5 minute walk to the Witches Market. The reception staff were absolutely amazing so kind and helpful and very good English. Such a comfortable, clean hotel and peaceful inside. The breakfast was also really good. The only downfall was the coffee however there is a little coffee stand 1 min from the hotel and Cafe Del Mundo 2 blocks away.

The family room was spacious and the beds were confortable. Breakfast offers various possibilities and you can ask the staff to cook special omelette for you. The hotel is in the middle of the vibrant La Paz, where you can meet real people.

Very friendly staff, giving good advice, organising restaurant reservations and taxis and taking into account our wishes for our second stay. Cosy place in a great location in walking distance to centre. Great to have a laundry service too, we used it twice.

Nothing really to flag, we preferred the room in the back building as it was less noisy than the ones to the street where we stayed in the first time. But also these were ok.

Hotel staff were friendly and responsive to our requirements. They helped us to arrange for an early check in (which is a paid option but that's fine I guess), along with a reasonably priced airport transfer. They even offer a breakfast box for guests like us who had an early flight and couldn't eat breakfast at the hotel. We had issues with a leaky shower head and unstocked shampoo but those issues were resolved very quickly. The hotel also has a nice lobby lounge with an assortment of tea which is very nice. Wifi was strong. Location is very central.

Main quibble is that we were assigned to rooms on the third and fourth floor. The lift only stops at the second floor, which meant having to climb stairs going in or out of the room.

The staff were great, as was the breakfast. Facilities in the second room was great as well. Cable car was about 10 minute walk but be mindful of the hills.

Initially we had a street-facing room and the noise from the street was unbearable. Moved to a room at the rear of the property and it was so much better.

A very comfortable hotel with colonial architecture, decorated with Bolivian textiles. Free teas and water all day and secluded places to sit and enjoy the quiet away from the noise and bustle. Very helpful and pleasant staff and great food in the restaurant. A full range of tourist services available.
