Loved the location and cleanliness of their part of the beach. Liked the hammocks and loungers. The relaxed feel of the resort. The breakfast and dinning areas were comfortable. The staff were always tentative and welcoming and the reception staff helped with any requests.

Sadly our room did not meet our expectations. There was no safe in the room so we asked the reception to look after our passports. There were no chairs, no hairdryer and only one bedside table. I did not appreciate putting my things on the floor so requested a chair. There was nowhere to hang your towels after a shower! Not even towel hook! These are simple basic things that are needed to make your room comfortable. Although the resort held many functions whilst we were there we were never really happy with the food - it lacked consistency in taste and quality.

Its location was fabulous and every effort had been made to cater for everyone. Sunbeds, hammocks, swings were all available on a beach that was maintained to high standards. The simple rooms were a short walk from the beach, with a management office in the middle, containing very helpful staff, as did the bar and restaurant. Bedding and towels were changed daily. The restaurant was more or less on the beach and served a generous and long-lasting breakfast - particularly appreciated by our grandsons. We didn’t usually choose to eat there in the evening but could stroll along to a number of other restaurants.

I think we liked everything! There were plusher rooms available but the simplicity suited us.

Liked · Almost everything. The attention to detail. The bathroom was huge with a floor to ceiling partition to make sure that the area in front of the sink is always dry. Different towels provided inside the room for swimming. A HDMI cable provided for connecting to a laptop. Generally friendly and responsible staff. Excellent management. Definitely, among the best value hotel accommodation I or my family have stayed in, anywhere in the world.

Poor wifi. One bathroom (024) had bad smell from the sewage

Situated at one end of Long Set Beach the hotel is great if you want a quiet, relaxing time - It is quite a walk to the busy part of the island, but there are some bars and food options close by. The hotel staff keep the beach here cleaner than other parts of the island. The staff were all super nice and the food and drinks were also good.

The hotel is comfortable but could do with a bit of maintenance around the pool and paved areas to bring it up to standard. is served only till 9am which we thought was a little early when you just want a lie in on your vacation. Not the hotel's fault but we were sad to see so much plastic washed up onto Koh Rong beaches :( Some cleaning was going on but I think if hotels/hostels arranged some beach cleans they would get plenty of guests volunteering to help.

The resort is beautiful, in a good location, confortabile and clean. All the staff were very helpful and kind. We stayed in the sea view Villa. The 3 rooms are new and spacious with very comfortable beds. When we arrived, there were a few things that needed fixing and the staff fixed them straightaway. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

- The bathrooms in the Villa were old and rustic. They’re not up to the standard of the rooms. they need renovation - There weren’t many sun beds by the beach and pool - the beach is beautiful but it needs to be cleaned more often because the sea brings a lot of rubbish throughout the day.

The staff at the desk was kind, they help you with your bagage. The location is perfect, 1 minute walk from the beach.

The room gets really hot very soon. The staff at the restaurant was awful. It takes 40 minutes to make a deep fried pizza. You can have breakfast a la carte and a buffet (which included 3 sorts of different rice and nothing else), but nobody can explain to you that you can choose a la carte. Some visitors get extra fruit or yoghurt with their breakfast, but we were told that they couldn't do that for us. Very random service and very miserly. Kitchen is very slow and the staff very rude.

Scarlet Sails resort is located at a beautiful beach side of Koh Rong island, it has the real island vibe of Cambodia. Beach walk with a few resturants & bars. Manager was very helpful, we wanted to stay one night longer than orignally booked and the hotel‘s double accommodations (for 4 people) were fully booked but he managed to organize a smaller room with extra beds for us.

Breakfast had very little choice of european syle food but it‘s ok.

Lovely resort, very helpful and can pay Visa card. Lovely pool area and comfortable rooms. Great restaurant with a range of food and drink options.

The walk to Koh Touch is a lot further than the 25 minutes advertised and involved either wading knee-waist deep through the sea or a 45 minute detour through the jungle! Wonderful resort however if you’re thinking it’s a quick trip to the party area of Koh Touch… the walk is completely doable but takes 1h-1hr 30mins.

Amazing views, location, facilities, excursions, rooms. Everything was picturesque, couldn’t recommend more. Pool was lovely, the place wasn’t busy, and it’s in such a great location with the sea less than 1min from the rooms. The rooms were comfortable with good sized beds and bathrooms. Thank you!

Ac was not as strong in one room, they moved me to another which was great. Many bugs! But in a beach/jungle area it is to be expected!

The location is perfect, breakfast are good with many options. Lot of sunbed and good pool to hang around. Stayed in all kind of their accomodations all are comfortable. The bungalow is cute, the staff are friendly...

Minus the restaurant staff, maybe few in particular. Deny my request in asking to move the sun bed saying it wasn't their task and they will call the reception staff for me which took quite long. I understand them trying to do their job but it wasn't that faraway just few step from them and many restaurants staff were around it could take only 2mn to do that.
