We had a really good stay at FUJI-AKATSUKI Enn. The highlight was definitely the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji, especially from the second floor of our unit—it was truly breathtaking. The place itself is quiet, clean, new, and neatly maintained. It had a cozy layout with two single beds on the upper floor and two futon beds on the ground floor, making it comfortable for a small group or family. All basic necessities were thoughtfully provided, which made the stay even more pleasant. It’s also conveniently located within walking distance to bus stops and convenience stores, including the popular Lawson with Mt. Fuji as a stunning backdrop, and a 7-Eleven just across the street. One suggestion for improvement would be the shower room—the window appears to be translucent, and we were concerned that it might be visible from the outside. Covering it fully would enhance privacy and safety for guests. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji.

Location is outstanding, mid way between lake and station so both train and local bus(lake) are easily reachable. Neighborhood is super quiet, but few blocks away there is a 7/11 and a Lawson + some restaurants. House itself is well equipped with washing machine, reliable internet connection, kitchen and nice view of Fuji mount.

Check out is a little early (10am) and checkin a little late (4pm) so may be better for staying consecutive days rather than single day.

Amazing place!! The view of Fuji was breathtaking!! I would definitely recommend. We were a family of 4. There were 2 beds and floor mattresses (which we doubled up) A short walk to the train station (where they have lockers) for 10am checkout. They have a coffee pod machine, and all other essentials. Really nicely decorated aswell. There are plenty of shops nearby, and the (in)famous Lawsons! A 15 min walk to the lake.

The bedroom on the ground floor. The children loved sleeping on the futon on the tatami floor. Liked the dining area on the first floor. It has a view of Mount Fuji. Kitchen was quite well equipped except for cooking oil and seasonings. Has nespresso machine with 4 pods. Short walk from Kawaguchiko station along the back lanes.

There is only 1 shower and it was on the ground floor. Upper bedroom was quite small, no space to put luggage so we placed it at the dining area.

The location was superb as we had direct view of Mount Fuji. It is also a short walking distance to the town.

There were very few clothes hangers so we had problems to hang our towels and clothes. In fact, there was no place to hang our clothes on the 2nd floor of the unit. There was a washing machine but no dryer.

Stayed here with my family, 5 of us. This place felt super luxurious. homey and clean, beautiful japanese aesthetic in the bedroom below while really nice decor upstairs. Two separate toilets, really spacious. The best part was waking up to that view of Mt. Fuji on the 2nd floor. would for sure book here again with friends next time!!!

Felt like a true Japanese experience. Whole house was gorgeous with a great view Mt Fuji. Amazing bath, a full kitchen, and even a great speaker for listening to music. Japanese style floor beds are available, and if they aren’t too comfortable for you they have normal beds as well

Beautiful house with the greatest view of the mount fuji from the upper floor (living room)! Spacious rooms and everything was clean.

The second bedroom is a tatami room where you sleep on tatami mattresses on the floor. For us it was OK but for some it might be uncomfortable.

Close to the station and the lake. Stunning view of Mt Fuji.

The downstairs bedroom is set up in a traditional style which i thought would be great.. It was really bright in the morning and the mattresses are thin and hard to sleep on but it was ok for 2 nights.

Very clean and easy to walk to. Love the feel of the upstairs. The balcony was very nice with great views.

I wish the floor pads were a little thicker. Even after doubling up on them, I was pretty sore in the morning. The normal beds were extremely comfortable though!
