Nicely located, everything needed included.

Former residents and neighbors at the time of the stay. Not really a fault of Tocoro. They intensively warn all residents to ventilate as much as possible. However a lot of former residents seem not to understand basic principles of ventilation because the house already smelt and some curtains had stains. As I said not a failure of the company but a failure of their residents. Also the neighbors at the time of our stay were a bit loud and moved the furniture continuously (so much that we seriously didn’t know what on earth they were doing in there).

The location was excellent, very close to bus and train station. The place was cozy and comfortable. It really is a very nice place for a small group. Fits 4 pax very nicely. Bigger groups might find the place cramp especially if everyone has a big luggage. Otherwise its great.

If check out time can be a little later or there's any place to store luggage, it would be perfect. But the hosts are very clear about these not being available up front. So no complaints. The sound proofing is not great though. Our neighbours are a little noisy on the second night.

Very good location, couple of minutes walk from Kawaguchiko station that made it easy to get around for catching buses to other areas and for food. Property was very comfortable and a great size. It had a downstairs living area as well as an upstairs tatami mat area that also had a tv in the room, as well as a Kotatsu table (😁) that we thoroughly enjoyed as it was cold outside (snowing in Spring!). Shower/ bath room was great and utilised the washing machine since we were travelling light. Really good place to come back to after big days of exploring. Thank you!

Was a little bit tricky to find initially from the directions/ Google maps (Google maps tells you to walk through a different part of the property which didn’t feel right to us, so we walked around the corner and found the front of the property), but did find it thanks to the photos of the property it stand out to other buildings in the area which made it easy to find once we got to the rough area. Bed mattresses were a little bit too firm, but seems to be a thing in Japan as we found out at other places.

Very quiet and close to the train and bus station. The place was pristine and very well decorated and presented.

The cutlery provided was only spoons and forks no knives. There was only one very large cutting knife making it quite difficult to prepare food. The enormous list of dos and don’ts even threats of calling the police (which seems rather extreme. ) was rather off putting. I think this might be a lost in translation problem though. The place smelt awful when we arrived, think it might be the matting upstairs. We had to open all the windows to get rid of the stale smell.

Location was near to the train and bus station. Lots of food options, supermarkets and tourist attractions are within walking distance. Good space in the home for the family.

The stairs to the bedroom and the toilet being downstairs........had to walk very slowly and carefully in the middle of the night.

The hotel/apartment is at a great location. About a 4 minute walk from kawaguchiko station and a 15-minute walk to the cable ropeway. The famous Lawson, with the Mt. Fuji backdrop is also about 4 minutes away. The rooms are a good size and spacious.

We did laundry, but only stayed one night. If you need to do multiple loads, there is no clothes dryer.

5 mins walk to train station. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The host was responsive and helpful.

The location is really convenient. The facilities were well equipped, clean and new. Plenty of space for your own toiletries too.

I am used to apartment living so the stairs was a deal breaker for me. Climbing up and down stairs to go to the toilet in the middle of the night was a pain.

1. Cozy space for family 4-5 members. 2. Can see Fuji mountain from one of the bed room. 3. Have everything you might need. 4. Walkable from/to train station.

Wall and floor could not keep the noise. You will hear people in your house talking & Walking. It is fine if everyone sleep at the same time.

The room is well equipped, spacious and clean. Cooking utensil are very complete and enough to make simple breakfast. We like it very much.

The climbing staircase to upper floor is narrow. So, must be careful when using it especially for elderly.
