A Remarkable Experience with Exceptional Service I recently had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional establishment, and I cannot emphasize enough how outstanding the overall experience was. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this place not only boasts an exceptional location but is also characterized by a management and staff who consistently go above and beyond expectations. Our stay took an extraordinary turn when we inadvertently left behind a valuable item in our room. The responsiveness and efficiency displayed by the staff, particularly Shelley, were truly commendable. Shelley promptly organized the Malolo Cat ferry and a taxi to ensure the swift return of our valuable possession. What could have been a stressful situation turned into a testament to the exemplary customer service provided by the management and staff. The level of care and attention to detail in handling our situation was truly remarkable. It is not every day that you encounter a team so dedicated to ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of their guests. The seamless coordination to retrieve our item before our departure on the same day was not only impressive but also reflected a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. Beyond the stunning location, it's the people who make a place memorable, and in this case, the staff at this establishment exceeded all expectations. Their dedication and willingness to go the extra mile left a lasting impression on us. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking not only a beautiful location but also an unparalleled level of service that sets it apart from the rest. Our experience was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the remarkable management and staff who turned what could have been a stressful situation into a showcase of their commitment to guest satisfaction.

This is class from start to finish. Pickup at the ferry with warm musical greeting and transport to the resort with all baggage taken care of. Very nice reception and welcome. Check in was a breeze. The room was fantastic with direct beachfront access. Flew a drone (Fiji application approval which was free and easy) with spectacular pictures. Could see the reef and underwater features clearly. Here are some important facts: only 30 units - very private only 60 guests with a staff of 70!! laundry is available daily at no charge a very nice breakfast is included lots of water activities including snorkeling trips included the pool is beautiful - several nice cabanas and deck chairs, always available we tried to tip, housekeeping left the tip - a pure joy to be assisted by people who are happy to help and not doing it for the money. Big warm smiles and "Bula" everywhere We were delighted with our stay and would love to return

Like all places, wifi/internet was OK. Rooms were limited to 2 connected devices. There was a standard and a high speed package available. Wife and I each had 2 devices and it was a hassle to disconnect/reconnect when changing devices.

Every aspect of our holiday at Lomani Island Resort was incredible. Firstly, the staff are so attentive and everyone knew us on a first name basis. Special thanks to the beautiful Agnes, Charlie, Pita, Jon, Nanise and Mariani. The food is exceptional, massages were heavenly and all water sports were included (snorkelling, paddle boarding, dolphin safari, kayaking). The room was beautiful and always clean. We made a brief comment of our anniversary to a staff member and we got a beautiful cake and the staff sang to us. If you are considering a trip to Fiji, make sure you go to Lomani.

Nothing, it was a perfect trip.

The location was excellent and the grounds, pool area and restaurant were all in great condition and well kept. The bure was spacious, well furnished and very clean. We loved the outdoor shower, which we used exclusively. The plunge pool was also very good.

The room we were in had a control panel outside on the bure wall (not the air-conditioning), which seemed to be pumping water 24/7. I think it might have been something to do with the solar water heating. It made a noise all night which was off putting when trying to sleep. There wasn't one on every bure, roughly every fourth one.

Complimentary breakfast was wonderful and all other meals were delicious, well presented and generous. Rooms were spacious with attractive and stylish island decor. Most activities were complimentary and well organised including daily reef snorkelling cruises. All staff were professional and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We found the traditional Fijian welcome and farewell a very personal and sincere touch.

Some guests commandeered cabanas and sun loungers around the pool from sunrise to dark. Unfortunately hotel staff failed to ensure this did not happen. It was four days before we found a cabana unreserved with a towel and water bottle, despite the occupiers not being present for 2 hours. The sun loungers and poolside cabanas were placed so closely together that they did not afford any privacy.

Despite school holidays this was an adult only oasis on the island. We felt relaxed, looked after and pampered by staff who are always striving for excellence in hospitality. We took advantage and very much enjoyed the water activities, pool, our beautiful Beach Front Bure and the lovely spa. We started each day with lovely breakfasts and then had a variety of dinners at the poolside restaurant. From our arrival greeting to the staff singing to us on our departure, we felt like we were at a home away from home.

It was all lovely!

We stayed at Lomani for 1 week and we didn’t want to leave, it was absolute bliss. The resort itself is stunning and the views are just breathtaking. You have a range of activities included in the price of booking and can take kayaks and paddle boards out at your leisure which is great. What really made the trip though was the staff - they are so friendly and can’t do enough for you but without being overbearing. They knew everyone in the resort by name and made us feel so special. The resort is very small so you see the same people throughout the trip which we loved as we got chatting to some lovely people. Don’t hesitate to book if you want pure tranquility, it really was faultless.

Nothing, everything was fantastic

Everything was perfect throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble for any of the many staff that made us feel so special , Yes the island and hotel are stunning, beautiful, BUT its actually ALL the staff that make it work so very well , we thankyou from the bottom of our heart The staff all remember your names, how they do this ??? The pool overlooked the beach/sea, beautiful setting to chill out !! After 10 weeks in NZ boy did we need this time in Lomani The villa (with Pool) was beautiful, so well decorated , keeping a Fijian theme ,rooms were cleaned every morning and made ready of an evening for bed We loved the outside shower and the plunge pool over looking the sea!! Our honeymoon stay was all we could hope for. We stayed from 6th July - 11th July. The accommodation was deluxe. We stayed in ocean front Villa number 33. Which was the very last villa at the end of the resort. Which meant total silence and privacy. The room was spacious and it was beautifully decorated for our honeymoon at our request. (THANKYOU). We loved the outdoor shower and the plunge pool. Our private deck was beautiful to watch the sunsets too. The staff at the activities Bure (Daniel, Bale and the rest of the staff) were absolutely amazing. I went on several surfing trips through our stay. One of the cheapest trips around considering Plantation Island were $450 (whole boat) and others were $1,000 for a day (whole boat). The reception staff - Annie was very helpful and always so pleasant. The housekeeping were so accommodating and friendly, nothing was a trouble - the toiletries are absolutely amazing. I wish i bottles of it to take back home. The bar staff at happy hour, WOW! We had some local rum and holy smokes...let me just say, we had a great time. They made beautiful drinks, some we would never think to try. The spa, I have NEVER felt so relaxed and the oil they used was divine. I smelt so good haha The food at dinner was sensational - Give me the lamb rack any day and the Duck was to die for. The food at breaky was included in our stay - Pastries, fruits, cereal and then hot meals like eggs on toast to bacon and eggs and more. You'll be full all day.

I would highly recommend bringing your own snacks/alcohol from Port Denarua as the prices of cocktails and snacks are at a premium at the small shop that is located at Plantation Island Resort. The light on the air con unit was very bright during the night. (nit picking really, were just light sleepers)

2025-03-27: 1. Staff are ultra-friendly and professional. 2. Good- to great facilities for an isolated island off 5+ miles / 8 km from Nadi area / main island. 3. Lots of variety in activities for such a small resort. 4. Semi-private back yards / decks and some units had wading pools next to their back deck. 5. 50 meter / 164 feet swimming pool to ~ 1.7 m / 5’10 deepest and ~ 0.40 m / 1.5’ at shallowest. 6. Good aquatic center with snorkeling; fishing boat trips; surf boards; kayaks; snorkeling; etc. Beach is very shallow with sea-grass for ~ 150 m or 160+ yds. out from beach high tide. 7. Small indoor massage / spa and an outdoor / public massage area above the beach. Being significantly upgraded to new Soa building, garden, … in April to May 2025 opening.

1. Upgrading gardens at front but would also like to see more back yard privacy … as simple as applying slow release fertilizer for existing hedge row plants ( hibiscus ). 2. Upgrade spa facilities and training for staff as strongly massaging muscles away from the heart ( down to the toes or fingers ) is not recommended. New Spa building was under construction and slated for opening in April / May 2025 ( from Oct. 2024 target ). 3. Upgrade Wi-Fi paid option to more than 2 Mbps up and 1 Mbps down ( same as free service ! ). Offer Ethernet ports and paid-for cabling / adapters. 4. Add more plantings ( in-process around bungalows and new spa ).
