Entertainment was brilliant. Hospitality and friendliness were exceptional. Management from Norman is brilliant. Food and drinks were very good although a bit on the expensive side.

Nothing not to like. Very happy with everything.

I would have like a bigger wardrobe with a door in the bure

The property rates itself as a 3 or 4 stars but we had a 6 star experience. The staff were fantastic - genuinely happy and wanting to make our stay enjoyable. Food was terrific and was exceptional value as were the drinks. Terrific pool which we utilised a lot. A very comfy bure which was thoroughly serviced each day. A highlight was our nightly drink on our verandah watching the sun set over the sea, before a leisurely stroll to dinner on the sand overlooking the water.

It's not that we didn't like it, but the facilities are not necessarily top range marble and sparkles like the big resorts. But everything had so much character and you felt you were in Fiji and not some templated resort that could be anywhere in the world. Everything was clean and comfortable and great value always delivered with a genuine smile - we had all we needed (and more) to have a great time. A six star stay.

The Friendly staff, room, the gardens, the pool, the entertainment, setting, breakfast music, history, Rosie's tour desk, spar/massage, activities offered during the day. The whole package offered the opportunity to just stay in one location and yet experience Fiji culture and be well entertained.

What could be better is more attention given to the billing of meals, for often the staff would add items not ordered. Also a suggestion:- don't mention the surcharge just naturally add it into the original cost. As a customer I am only interested in what it will cost me. HOWEVER we enjoyed the way all the staff were able to meet our needs.

Lovely spot looking over the bay. Well established gardens particularly shady trees. Very relaxing. Excellent pool and very friendly staff. They really made you feel special. Two nights we saw a show after our meal. The first night was a warrior dance (Tuesday) and on the Saturday night there were woman and men dancing also fire dancing. The warrior dancing was performed with hotel staff and was extra special because of that. It was on two nights we just didn’t see the Friday night one. Two days we ordered taxis from the hotel to take us to some activities. The taxi will wait on you while you are in town. A walk out onto the reef on low tide proved interesting, but requires good shoes.

The rooms could be a little dark with so much shade.

Lovely ocean view bure. The mattress is comfortable but unfortunately it was 2 beds together so it is difficult to cuddle each other all night with the bump in the middle. The staff are very friendly and the musicians who played over dinner each evening were wonderful. The pool is lovely and at a perfect temperature. Unfortunately there are not many other options for dining other than the resort and no supermarkets or shops close by. There is a good choice on the menu but unfortunately over the 5 days we found most of our choices were quite bland. In saying all this, I would definitely go back and stay there as it is lovely.

On leaving we asked the staff to call a taxi. They refused as they would only use their drivers and the cost was nearly 4 times a taxi. Make sure you have your own contact for a taxi driver before you go to the resort.

The staff were always kind and friendly. The resort was about 15 minutes walk from Vuda Marina where our boat from Serenity Island dropped . We stayed in an ocean view burr with breakfast included. The burr was roomy with another adjoins closed in verandah room where you could view the ocean and lush tropical gardens and leave wet clothes and towels hanging. Considering this was a resort the food dinner was surprisingly reasonably well priced. It was also well presented well and was generally delicious. We stayed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night and there was a big cultural night on the Saturday evening complete with dancers including Fire Dancers. Each night we were there they seemed to have a trio of Fijian musicians which was nice. The pool was large and surrounded by beautiful lush tropical plants. I loved the complementary foot massage / unfortunately it was only for 1 person.

- The resort is kilometres from anywhere.!!! We hired a car for 2 days and went to see sights around Nadi and the Coral Coast; however, if you did not hire a car you would have to hire a taxi to go anywhere or rely on the expensive tours. -There was no gym which I found frustrating. - The large pool was lovely; however, young children would struggle as there are no shallow areas for them to wade in . The beach is just ok & nothing to write about. At low tide it is just a mass of dark rocky outcrops. - I felt staff at reception could have been more flexible with guests who arrive slightly early. We arrived about 1 hour before check in & although the room was ready we HAD to wait till 2pm !!!! -

We had an incredible stay at First Landing Beach Resort and Villas! The staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was delicious and the cocktails were expertly crafted - we thoroughly enjoyed trying the different options! But what really made our stay stand out was the attention to detail and the effort the team put into making our celebration special. The birthday surprise decoration made from flowers and leaves was absolutely stunning - it was such a lovely touch! The whole resort had a wonderful, relaxed vibe that made it easy to unwind and enjoy our time together. We would highly recommend First Landing Beach Resort and Villas to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway. Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful staff, very attentive, beautiful grounds, pool, food was very good, also the spa and the ladies there were very nice. Ocean bure was a good size with mini fridge and plenty of coffee and tea provided. Our flight got in very early in the morning and they let us check in early and also gave us a late check out on our last day, subject to availability of course. They have a desk to help you book tours, location is away from Nadi, so it takes a little longer to get to port for tours, but is so worth it for the quiet, peace and pretty location of the hotel.

Nothing bad to say, everything was good.

Being away from the more publicised holiday sites in Fiji, I was unsure if the location would be too remote for our family. On the contrary, we had a fantastic time, and while we travelled south for day trips, we didn't feel that we had missed out on anything, be it beautiful sunrise and sunsets, beach access, or quality of resort with our choice. First Landing is a peaceful resort with all a family needs for a holiday, run by a friendly team of staff who treated us all like family. There are plenty of water-based activities - swimming and snorkeling, kayaks available at no charge, and fishing. We caught a fish from the wharf, and the chef cooked it for our evening meal! A vow renewal service was also organised for us, set in a beautiful location. There are a number of events on throughout the week, including a fire show on the weekends! I'd highly recommend First Landing to others. *we found a rental car was handy, as we went to the mud pools, and water park, and took a few short drives throughout our stay to purchase the most delicious pineapples, watermelons and Bananas.

It was hard to leave, and loved the song after dinner on our final night.
