We originally booked Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa as a 2-day stopover on our way back from the USA—just to rest and recharge. But it turned out to be the absolute highlight of our entire trip. The location is unbeatable—right next to the airport, but you'd never know it. Not a single bit of noise, just peaceful beachfront paradise. The resort is maintained so well it looks brand new—and I'm saying this as someone who works in property maintenance for a living. We had a small issue with the aircon, but within minutes a maintenance guy showed up, all smiles, and fixed it like a magician with just one touch. Absolute pro. The drinks? Incredible. Probably the best bartenders we’ve ever come across—friendly, fast, and they know what they’re doing. But the real star of the show was La Bodega. We’re big food lovers and this place blew us away. The presentation was art, and the flavours? Unforgettable. Easily the best food we’ve ever had on any trip. From the warm welcome at the front door to the genuine hospitality throughout, the service was flawless. On our final night, we mentioned we were celebrating the end of our trip. What happened next was something we’ll never forget—the La Bodega team sang a heartfelt farewell song just for us. It was real, emotional, and full of that beautiful Fiji spirit. We had glassy eyes and full hearts. Crowne Plaza is incredibly lucky to have a team like this. Thank you for making our short stay so special—we’ll be back for sure.

The staff were generally friendly and most of them were helpful. Special mention to the following: Ani who did a marvellous housekeeping of our accommodation and who was always smiling; Inia, Grace and Sam whom we only met casually but were very pleasant and not to mention the cab drivers from the Tour Managers service who were safe and courteous drivers.

We think that the price of our accommodation was not exactly good value for money. The room was not up to the standard that we thought of Crowne Plaza. We had higher expectations about the quality of the bedsheets and pillow cases. The tap in the toilet was defective and the toilet itself wasn't exactly clean and spotless when we arrived. We just think that the way the amenities of the hotel was advertised was a bit misleading and the way reception explained it to us was not plausible and the blame was instead put on booking.com We also think that the prices of the food generally at the hotel was quite expensive. On our first day, it took ages for us to be served our pizza and burrito orders. The free breakfast as reviewed by other guests on the fb page was a bit overrated.

Amazing decor with large spacious reception/bar area. Several pools that were well maintained and had areas in the shade. Lots of sun loungers available. Great access to beach. Rooms were spacious with top quality air conditioning. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

Building works were quite loud and intrusive throughout which detracted from the peacefulness of the stay. Restaurant area only had a few tables outside. Menus at the lunch/dinner and the bar were all quite similar. Not good vegan options at any of the meals including breakfast. Location of the hotel means that you need to realistically get taxis to go anywhere and these can be relatively expensive. There could have been more umbrellas/sunshades available around the pool, most of the sun loungers without shade were not used by guests.

Great food and service; the staff were exceptional and a credit to your company - they were always helpful, smiling, friendly and acknowledging you. The buffet breakfast was amazing.

The room needed to have a hair dryer; there was no bottle opener and the toilet paper was of poor quality; you shouldn’t have milk powder either. It does not look well when you aim to be a hotel of superior quality. You should have fresh, small milk cartons in every room for your guests.

The property, grounds, rooms, abundance of pools, closeness to other amenities. The pool bar and restaurant staff were super lovely, shoutout to Peni for being so proactive and awesome, and to the lovely Fijian Indian lady who ran the check-in desk! The food and the cocktails were also top-notch.

For the most part the staff was really nice and efficient... however, after coming from the InterContinental and the Yatule in Natadola (where everyone was awesome and super happy), I noticed that some staff members were not only unfriendly but a little unhelpful (reception/check-in and desks to the left of it)... I guess it doesn't help that when they leave, every evening, the man at the front gate has the unpleasant task of opening and checking their purses for stolen items... I found this odd, intrusive, and disrespectful. With the amount of food that gets thrown out every day from the buffets and restaurants, does it really matter if employees take some leftovers home?

Having spent 9 days at the fiji Intercontinental the crown plaza had a lot to live up too. We only had 24 hours there but found the staff lovely and helpful but not up to the same standard. One comment would be on arrival the team need to make sure each guest is well informed and given clear directions to where to go where the restaurants are and what type of restaurants they are. There was no mention of restaurants or would you like us to book you for dinner tonight knowing we were only there for one night due to flying out early. We were told to go to Azure restaurant and have lunch while we waited for our room to be ready. We could not see any directions and had to go back to reception and wait in line again to find our way to the restaurant. Even the pathway around the pool was like a maze. For the price of the hotel and the fact that it was new we would have excepted a little more attention to detail. We were given water at reception but left them there while we went to lunch not to retrieve them. Water would be much better if put in the room pre accessing the room. Chairs outside the Azure were cheap and uncomfortable and not suitable for the uneven area on the edge of the bar. Every chair and table wobbled majorly so we sat inside for lunch. More training for staff they don’t know the difference between a red and a white wine. Pinot noir to Pinot Gris even when I had pointed to it on the menu. I have been honest but we still loved the design and the bar staff were amazing we ended up having bar menu as we couldnt be bothered investigating the restaurants and there was nothing in our room on the hotel and what was offered or on restaurant's or how to use the television. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a room with pool access and a view of the beach which was wonderful. Very friendly staff. Loved the activities and general vibe around the pool area. Really liked the different areas of the hotel - lobby bar, cafe, Harvest and Pool Bar. Walking distance to Wailoaloa Beach Club and Club 57 (for more great food!) as well as supermarket. We loved our stay and would definitely come back! Great for kids too!

Rooms could do with more thorough cleaning. Air conditioning quite difficult to control, and was more often than not WAY too cold.

Fabulous pool setup with beautifully maintained gardens. Spectacular at night with the lighting and the fountains. Very romantic and peaceful. Excellent buffet breakfast, with plenty of options and no restrictions on quantities or servings. Staff very accommodating and friendly throughout the complex. Bula!! Lovely reception area, a lot of thought has gone into the design. Room clean and quiet, with a nice outdoor area to sit and relax with a drink and some music. Plenty of options for a drink or somewhere to eat. Next time we will book a room with pool and beach views/access.

Carpark facilities at best average, in large part to the ongoing construction. Hopefully this improves as it was the only less than excellent part of our stay.

The rooms were super comfortable, clean, and just really nice to settle into. The hotel has this lovely Bali vibe that made everything feel really relaxing. The pool was awesome—it was perfect for unwinding and soaking up the sunshine. One of my favorite parts was dining at La Botegga. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the La Bruschetta—it was just exceptional. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place if you're looking for comfort, good vibes, and tasty food in Nadi. And if you want to have that Bali vibe, this is the place.
