Loved the hotel - spacious room, staff very welcoming, absolutely fantastic dinner and service, spa massage was fabulous. Great location near a woodland which we explored by foot from the hotel itself.

Bed was a little soft for me but that's personal preference, the room also suffered with noise from the bar / restaurant directly beneath until around 11pm which I wouldn't have minded but really needed a couple of early nights! The plumbing also was very loud when flushing the toilet, but it is a lovely old property so some acceptance of older plumbing may be necessary.

Room was lovely, while we were there, the main restaurant wasn't open, but the bistro dining was very good. Breakfast was also excellent. As an EV owner, the electric car charger was really appreciated. The location was perfect for exploring the region and within easy reach of the spectacular Pembrokeshire coastline. We will very likely come back!

Our room had quite a strong smell of disinfectant but this went off with the windows open - we didn't mention it to the staff however.

First time staying and wolfcastle and would highly recommend. Food was spot on 👌 both breakfast and dinner. Staff were so welcoming and very engaging with customers, happy to go out of there way to have a conversation and a laugh. Room was ideal, bed was comfy, shower was perfect. I can't find fault with this hotel at all.

Parking is a bit tight when there is a function on, but hey ho it's a hotel after all so probably to be expected on the odd occasion.

Good location on the A40 Road between Haverfordwest and Fishguard. Liked the outdoor seating on sunny afternoons.

Didn't like the added cost of breakfast from the advertised price of £12.50 to £15.00. Reported to reception that the remote control to the TV wasn't functioning, so asked them to remedy this. Later same day still could not access TV. This is the second time I've done this survey. Error message. Booking.com website not accessible.

The staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming! The food in the brasserie was absolutely delicious and of excellent quality. It was a great choice for us as a group of friends as we were able to have the privacy of our own rooms but meet up in the communal areas. Additionally the generously sized bedrooms were a perfect meeting space for us too!

Some of the bedrooms were a little cold for some of our party. My room was fine though. The plug hole in the bath made a weird gurgling sound! But it’s an old building so probably can’t be helped. Some bedroom/bathroom renovation in the future could improve it but it wouldn’t put me off returning.

Food was amazing and the room, bed etc very comfortable

We felt rushed by the restaurant staff to order. We were sitting in the bar having a drink about 6.30pm and a staff member gave us restaurant menus- a very short time later someone came and stood there to take our order. We felt that we then had to move into the restaurant. After the main course a member of staff gave us the dessert menu and we asked for a few minutes to look at the menu - a couple of minutes later another staff member was back with pen in hand and stood there waiting for our order. We felt pressured. The soap in the bathroom would not lather up. Wine was very expensive.

The room was clean and comfy. The regular restaurant was excellent, and the Fine Dining experience was superb in every way. The team running reception and the restaurants were outstanding - they were warm, friendly, professional and competent, and a pleasure to interact with - a First Class crew !

There was nothing - it was really great.

Excellent customer service throughout the hotel staff. Lovely room, good food and a relaxing spa.

View from the jacuzzi was blocked by the jacuzzi lid propping up against the wall. The wall may also have blocked the view any way. It was lacking somewhere to sit outside in the back gardens where you could have a drink and enjoy the view. However, this may well just have been because there was a wedding being hosted on the day.

Overall I would rate our stay as excellent. The breakfast was very good with local Welsh produce, beautifully cooked and presented. Our room was spacious warm and comfortable. My wife had two treatments which were well delivered by friendly and experienced staff, she had no complaints.

I paid an additional fee to use the Spa facilities, and herein lies the problem. I felt that the £20.00 fee was excessive, other hotels of a similar standing have free use of spa facilities by guests. The facilities were basic, the sauna was as expected and I understood the fact that it was a purpose built out door wooden structure, but the Hot tub was filthy and poorly maintained. Access was via stairs which were rough underfoot and resulted in a long step into the water, some of the headrest cushions had become detached and were floating in the tub leaving two seating areas which were unusable, the water was dirty with floating debris and finally the hot tub plastic structure had several areas of caked on oil and grease.

Standard room was lovely. Dinner in the Brasserie was lovely, simple but cooked beautifully. Breakfast was ok but disappointing that you couldn't have a Cappuccino because "the coffee machine was being cleaned" when I tried again at 10:00 I got the same excuse.

Not being able to keep my bill open after 11.00, I had to have a separate invoice for extra coffee and lunch.
