The room was spacious and quite comfortable, the bathtub was a bit awkward to use with a shower head and the pillows could have been a bit nicer, but the complimentary breakfasts were very pleasant and the hotel in general is quite nice. The view from my room was quite nice, with the skyline and some pretty buildings being visible. The hotel is located right across the road from a train station, which was very convenient for travelling to other cities during my stay. It is also within walking distance of the city centre and many of the tourist attractions, appealing areas and shopping locations in the city. The staff were helpful and polite; and did their best to converse in English. I appreciated the fridge in the room, as well as the block out curtains and variety of lighting options available in the room. The hotel’s restaurant was enjoyable to eat at, both for breakfast and dinner, and their prices are approachable. They are also open quite late which was a bonus. I’d definitely recommend the hotel to anyone looking to stay in Plzeň.

We got a chance to stay in new rooms. There is only 2 on each floor with white doors. Excellent, comfortable beds, nice design, very clean, very warm. Bathrooms were spotless and nice clean bath. Also nice breakfast every morning. Good choice of food. Also menu was good and prices normal. Reception girls were nice and professional. Always helpful. Blond girl at the bar was friendly, very helpful and full of energy. Seeing her in every day so many hours and stay so energetic was amazing. I also used massage in hotel. Have to say it was worth. Thank you very much. Completely satisfied.

There could be shampoo in room

The location was ok and it was easy to walk to the city center. There’s a private carpark but you can also park free on the streets around the corner and behind the block where the hotel is. It’s a bit outdated building but it still works ok.

The fridge could be quite loud when turned on. The breakfast was ok although there wasn’t much healthy choice available (dark bread, more kinds of fruit etc) and having the meal served in the basement without windows wasn’t pleasant at all. Also, there’s not much space around the food tables and it gets crowded easily. Another space for improvement is the gym - it would be better if a guest can book let’s say one hour in advance and knows that this time slot will be reserved for them otherwise you may turn up and the gym is occupied (the guest gets the key and no one else can use it until the guest returns the key). There is a space for improvement but it’s still a good experience and it’s not expensive.

The breakfast was amazing and really filling, as it is usual in Czech Republic. They offered mushrooms, eggs, sausages, a really continental style breakfast. In the evening I had a couple of fresh Pilsner Urquell in the bar. My room was warm and the bathroom very clean. The parking place was a gated place, not many space, but free of charge and the gated opened quickly. As the Hotel is located in the centre, it should be a good starting point for a walk to the local beer bars.

The parking place had limited space and it was difficult to get the car in a good and safe position.

Location, staff friendliness, parking accessibility, overall experience :) You get what you pay for - and that is a good value for money. Would definitely consider staying there again if we visit the city :)

The door of our room had a bit of a gap at the top between the frame and the door (as if the door was a bit shorter than it was meant to be) - whilst it did not bother us much, we felt a lacking privacy element. Whilst the breakfast was decent, the breakfast hall gets crowded quickly - but it is not a deal breaker :)

Very varied breakfast, with tasty dishes. The cleanliness and freshness of the bedding and towels which were changed daily. Although it operates in an old building, the hotel has a special charm and you can see the efforts to bring the building up to current standards. Parking included in the room price at 200 m from the hotel, monitored and permanently closed, which provides a degree of safety for the car.

The bed mattresses could be a little softer.

Good location, very close to the Plzen south train station, easy access. Within walking distance to the city center. Nice staff. Good WiFi. Good breakfast. Good TV. Safe. Large desk with electric plugs available. Refrigerator (empty, not a minibar). Quiet room, good heating (room and bathroom). Good value for money.

No blinds on the window, just a thin, single layer, veil curtain. So it was not dark in the room due to street lights and early sunrise. But some other, larger, rooms seem to have good hangings.

The location was very easy to get to by public transport. The hotel itself has a lot of advertisements to direct its customers to the hotel. The breakfast was varied and plenty. The stay overall was good value for money and comfortable.

My room was a single room instead of the reserved double or twin. It was on the top floor and even though there was an elevator, there are a few stairs to get to the room. The room was towards the street/ train station opposite the hotel so there was a constant traffic noise (day AND night) if the window was left open. On the weekends, the breakfast was very busy and it is understandable that the staff is also busy but on the weekend they seemed not to care about clearing and setting up the tables for other guests. They were constantly checking if the buffet needed to be topped up but not if the tables needed clearing.

The location is pretty good, not far from downtown area and very close to a train station. The room was clean and simple. We got a kettle from the reception. The breakfast was very good with almost everything you can think of. The hotel has a parking lot at the corner of the street, which we didn't know until the next morning. Street parking in front of the hotel was free, but it was hard to find a spot.

The hotel is in an old building. The hallway was a little bit dark, which may just be its style. The furniture in the room was kinda old too.

The hotel room is decently sized, the people working there are nice, the breakfast is very good (you have a pretty varied selection), and they have their own parking lot and allow pets. I think the walk to the city center is approx. 12 mins walking. The beds and pillows are fairly confy.

The rooms facing the street get a good deal of traffic noise - the windows help when closed, but not 100% (however with a pair of ear plugs you won't hear anything at all). There is a musty smell permeating the room at all times, but that's probably because the hotel itself is quite old.
