The room was a little small, but it served its purpose well. the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The Wi-Fi also seemed to work well. We stayed to go into Salem, though it was a little out of the way but definitely less expensive than anything in the city. The staff was super accommodating, because there was a wedding happening that blocked off the main parking entrance, so they helped me get to the back parking lot where I could put my car.

The only thing that was a little bothersome was the smell in the hallways but it's possible it was just febreeze'd and I'm a little sensitive to that kind of smell. wasn't bad in the rooms itself

Overall, I really enjoy staying here! I've have stayed here a few times over the past few years when I got to visit Salem. It's only about a 10-15 min drive away from Salem, close to other cute towns nearby, but much less expensive than staying in Salem. The rooms are always immaculate, and the staff is very friendly.

Some remodeling is happening right now (end of March '25). It did not impact my stay but if it is something that might impact your stay you may want to call before booking to see if it is still going on.

It was off the beaten path and quiet. Parking was ok but we could see how it could fill up if there were other things happening on campus. Our room was tidied daily which was lovely. Coffee was good for hotel coffee. Bed was comfy.

The staff wasn't super personable. We had to make one of them speak to us or he just wouldn't. The room was almost too cozy, very small and confined. We knew there wasn't breakfast when we got there but we really missed it, even something super simple. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim.

Location was perfect for our trip to Salem. Front desk was very helpful and the rooms were extremely clean.

The cleaning staff was unprofessional. They just lingered in the hallway on their phones for the two days we were there. They also seemed to walk in front of us most times we went down the hallway. It was to the point where we paused when walking by their carts in the assumption that they would do it. Your management crew absolutely needs to fix this. It's extremely disruptive and unprofessional.

Location was perfect as we visited our daughter who is on a study exchange at Endicott College, literally across the road with on-site parking. Close to the town of Beverly and also to Beverly Farm - a car would be needed to get around. The current renovations at The Wylie meant we really only used our own room - which was comfortable, clean and modern and the front desk staff friendly.

This is a very nice place to stay when visiting the area. The value for the money is excellent.

They no longer offer breakfast, but do have some food items for purchase. We asked for a room close to the entrance for an elderly guest and the walk was actually quite far. We were told that the room selection we made are in a certain area farther from the elevator. It would have been helpful to know that when we booked so we had the option to upgrade.

Even before we were on property the attention given to our reservation was treated like we were important. Sydney was extremely helpful as we were not familiar with anything in Beverly. I had a few questions and she had the answers. When we arrived the Gentleman that welcomed us was more than a front desk attendant, he was a Host! I am not great with names.... He took the time to tell me about the property and we look forward to making this a great getaway again!

A pool.

The Queen Suite in which we stayed was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Our friends initially had an issue with their room having a musty odor (we think from an issue with the air conditioner) and the staff handled it quickly by placing them in a different room, which had no issues.

The hotel is located near the beach and has a short trail from the hotel grounds to the beach. However, the doorways through which patrons must go to access the pathway were locked when I tried to access it just after sunrise. Also, the hotel doesn't have breakfast available other than on the weekends.

Came to this location for an anniversary trip based on its ease of access and price point since our regular place is closed during off season. We were pleasantly surprised! Excellent location for what we wanted - Gloucester, Magnolia, and Rockport. clean facilities and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again

Thin walls-- there was a toddler throwing a major screaming/crying tantrum at 8 in the morning in a room across the hall. We heard everything for a solid 45 minutes, not very restful if there are loud children in a room near you.

The whole property was beautifully kept. The staff was very efficient and kind. The rooms were lovely, the bathrooms were large with ample amenities. The reception area provided free coffee/tea bar and a well stocked snack area which you could purchase a variety of goodies.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable for me, but it was due to my arthritis I am thinking, more than the actual bed.
