Bang for buck, this place is great! The room was spacious and warm, the bed was comfy, and the showers were great. We were there on a Saturday night so they had live music, which wasn't as loud as I was expecting in the room, but I can imagine some people would need ear plugs to get to sleep.

For the price, there wasn't anything that didn't meet expectations.

Having accommodation at the pub we were visiting for a party booking was great. We did wish to say a special thanks to the woman who waited on our table, a young lady from Scotland. She was very efficient, polite, fun and a happy person. Great band - The Mavericks

Some of the younger bar staff could benefit from some PD in customer service, needing a bit of encouragement to speak nicely and kindly to older customers at closing time.

This is a classic country pub with budget accomodation above it. If you don't mind that, it is one of the better ones I've stayed at. Everything was really clean, there is a nice (small) shared kitchen area, wifi was good and free, and there is a great balcony to watch the sunset. The pub is popular with a nice courtyard below but I didn't have any issues with noise.

Very friendly staff and easy check-in. There is an open kitchen and seating both inside and on a balcony for all guests, which was very nice. The shared bathrooms were extremely clean and very private (individual shower stalls that could be locked). Perfect not only for backpackers but also for families! Very close to the hot pools, which we recommend as well (2 hours is enough though if you are there with kids)

Love the old school pub accomodation. Large rooms with comfortable beds and lovely balcony overlooking the main Street. We left some clothes behind in a cupboard and they went abov3 and beyond to reunite us with our vests!

Great location, nice and close to the lovely new hot pools. Friendly staff and good pub food. Very comfy beds and great value for money.

Would have preferred an ensuite however the communal toilets and showers were clean and fine. There was a lot of noise from the pub, especially around closing time but then it was a hot night so we had all the windows open. It would not deter me from staying again as overall we had a great experience.

If you want 5 Star accommodation, perhaps not for you. BUT… if you want a decent bed for the night, very clean rooms, really good pub food and excellent beer, friendly staff, use of a kitchen (including cooking facilities and fridge) in the centre of town, and all at reasonable cost, you can’t do much better!

Downsides? Nothing really. It was good value for money so very happy!

Even tough above a pub room was quiet. Cozy,clean nice room.

Only microwave, no hot plate or oven in kitchen reduced meal choices.

This is the second time I've stayed at the Blue Pub, it's great value for money for solo travellers wanting a single room to themselves, does exactly what you need it to do for a one night stay and it's great to have a kitchen to make breakfast in the morning. Even on a weekend there wasn't any noise coming from the pub below so I got a great night's sleep.
